Im using a Touch Pro 2 (not branded Rhodium) and i dont know how to upgrade my graphic drivers.
I want to use "11.26 3D DRIVER WITH GRALLOC 11.30"
Currently im using this CAB file.

Honestly that stuff is just for testing. If you just want to play Angry Birds, buy a real Android device or an iPod Touch. If you're not going to help with the development by testing (IE you just want it to play a game) then what's the point?
Go thru the thread, read, re-read it. Post questions in that thread if you think you can help with the testing. Otherwise it's probably just best to wait until it's committed.

You do know that with 3 million users on XDA, not all of them are developers right? The work that developers do ultimately go to consumers like him, and you can be a little nicer in that regard. Plus, you're telling him to read the whole thread, seriously? That thing has 11,458 replies as I type this, you'd have to be retarded or really obsessed to want to go through the entire thread. Which is why everyone stresses the use of the search function. He does not understand how far the development on this is, so to answer his question in the proper way like you should have:
No, you cannot play angry birds on this, development on the 3d drivers is not far enough along for that and probably will not be for a long time. I recommend you purchasing a true Android phone if you wish to have the full experience of Android. But if you stick along the devs here might eventually get that working too.

I succeded to play Angry Birds with TP2 overclocked at 700-768 MHZ. It really works quite well but isn't so stable. Worth a try!

Either way, there's no point in helping you to get Angry Birds working on something that's just for testing, that's my point. I realize there's a ton of people on the forums that aren't devs - I'm not a dev, but I still try to help with the development in any way possible.

FYI, you should be using Angry Birds Lite Beta, which is available in other threads. It has much better performance, probably around 20fps.

Angry Birds full version 1.35 also running not bad, but 1.42 is very slow.

When i boot xandroid, i use HW3D and im running @ 700mhz.

Neither from Market nor from apk-File Angry Birds just won't install at all !!!
I play ver. 1.35 and it works fine. The only thing I've noted as missing is the bomb birds explosion animation. Otherwise, it is playable. And fun!

Mount the build.prop. I modified it so angry birds and almost all game can install and play. Good luck. Thanks

I can play it on mine, although its very buggy and lags about every 60 secs. Managed to get to level 1-9. Works on both Reference and Blazen installs using SOV app at 700 mhz. (At least I don't have to steal my wife's Desire all the time now

I installed a market copy of Angry birds and it worked, although it ran kinda slow.
I will have to another Angry Birds Lite version since the one I have does not work. Yeah the full latest one works but slow.

I had psx4droid running, had a bios selected, but when I tried loading a rom (ff7, which others have no issues running) I just had a black screen and nothing happened. Phone was still responsive, but nothing appeared.
Can anyone help an eager student to understand things a little more clearly.
Try a different rom, I had exactly the same issue with another game.
i have the same problem, with android 2.1 i could use psx4droid, but when i update to 2.2 psx4droid doesn't work anymore... i don't know how to fix the problem

maybe psx4droid doesnt support froyo or something. havent tested it myself, but will let you know once official froyo comes out.

a few roms wont work, idk why but they dont. try downloading different version of roms from different source and try them. maybe they will work?
If it's a .ecm file, you have to uncompress it. Search for an ecm decompiler.
Exact same issue. Roms were working smoothly on 2.1 but now they seem to crash the app everytime. I think we may just have to wait this one out

Hi, How is the sound for you guys. I am running on a samsung epic and the video is incredible smooth for a lot of games but the sound, while it isn't terrible it is no where near what I would describe as good. I'll just use the final fantasy as my example. Is there a specific format that is better for me to rip my games to like .iso, .bin .img to get better sound?
the sound is sometimes choppy and sometimes slightly garbled. They are still playable but if I can improve them it would be great.

Sound is choppy for me on my Samsung Galaxy i9000.
I wish he would code it so it uses Open GL rather than the software renderer, that way he'd get much better performance out of the graphics leaving the CPU to process the sound and other things.
Judging by his schedule, he's not that interested in optimizing the emu.
Only had the SGS for 2 weeks now.Came from Symbian phones.
So I tested all the emu's for them in the day,the picodrive,the Vampent SNES and GBA emu's etc.
So when I browsed the market and saw a psx emu I was amazed....sure come a long way to be able to run a psx emu on a mobile phone (of sorts).
Yeah,while not that many roms work and a bit slow with sound I think it sure is a big achievement to have a psx emu at all. Damn amazes me.
This phone (and the android OS) still suprises me.

Today I found the PSX4Droid and was trying to set it up. It tells me that I have to specify the BIOS file(s) before I can play any games can someone tell me what it or they are and where I can find them please.
Yeah,you need the the PSX bios file.
Ofcourse you should have your own from a disc you own D) otherwise google scph 1001 and you will find

i would love for this to get a big update, as great as it is to have a psx emulator on my phone there is very few games that actually work and even less that work correctly.
i know this is new though so i have faith even though it did take years for it to be as good as it is on pc so it may not be in this generation on phones that we see great emulation (maybe 3.0 phones if were lucky)

As far as the emulation goes, just about everything runs perfectly that I have tried other than Tekken 3.
My question is: has anyone found a way to swap disks (like FFVII requires) without having to use a psx emulator on your pc and changing the file names etc...?

I had to move it back and forth from the memory card a few times to get it to work

Looks heavily overhyped.. Played many games which seem almost exactly the same on flash before.. Anything special about this one (didn't seem to be from the preview)
I had issues installing via market but worked via the AppBrain

Installed it just now, works amazingly, IMO it works better than the iPhone/iPod Touch version. The graphics are crisp and stunning on the SGS's screen, the game is fast and doesn't lag at all, it lags on my iPod Touch at times. Overall much more enjoyable on a 4 inch SUPER AMOLED screen
Can't wait till the full version is out, looks promising at the moment.
Oh and to the people who can't find it, get Eris Market Fix from the Market and apply it, reboot your SGS and it should be there.

I'm struggling to install this on my galaxy...i can download from the market, but it refuses to install.
I tried to pm install the file from a folder on my sdcard, but see this:

I'm using a lag fix, and wonder if this is contributing to the issue.

I've bought Order & Chaos yesterday but I have already posted on the gameloft technical forum because the game doesn't run smoothly on the SGS2!
There are several issues:.
1. The game often freezes for 1 sec, this happens every 30 sec/1min. The game doesn't really run smoothly.
2. Opening the minimap takes 2 sec and browsing the minimap is really slow
3. In the options, asking for the ping indicator or the camera being vertically or horizontally fixed doesn't work
The gameloft custumer care has already told me that the dev team is working on these issues and apparently I'm not the only SGS2 owner who has these issues.
I hope they are going to resolve this pretty quickly (especially the freeze/lag) because the game in itself is really fun and addictive

I have same problems like you, but i have freezes for 1-2 sec every 10 sec . I hope they will fix it soon.

This game is Huge, Massive, GODLIKE. Such an incredibly detailed game and plays beautifully. Insanely addicted. Seriously, this is World of Warcradt IN YOUR POCKET!
I just downloaded this game, it is very very nice, and with Anti Aliasing 4x (thanks Chainfire3d) The graphics take a whole new dimension.
The problem is this random stutter/freeze mentioned by everyone every zone loading.
Will wait for a fix, game looks great.

This happens due to GPU not running at 267Mhz I believe but at a lower clock rate. This happens on Asphalt 6 and GangsterMiami etc.

Pocket Legends has NOTHING on O&C. This game is just something that you would never imagine possible on this sort of hardware. It's incredible.

Guess ill just have to try and buy this, unfortunatly im not able to find it on gamesloft website. I can only find it for iphone and ipad.

and its really was laggy on my sgs2
i deleted it
there was alots of lags
i also have lag with gangstar 2
and with dungeon hunter 2
but the rest of gamelofts games runs smooth
Can someone tell me where the game's cache is saved? I need to manually delete mine
go to setting ==> applacation ===> manage applacation ===> then click on the game ==> then clear cache or data or what ever u want

It can only remove the cache on YOUR PHONE; all game data (characters/maps/weapons in your inventory) is stored on the GameLoft server.
Im actually refering to the big downloaded data through wifi..

Some guys said that flashing a kernel that supports Tegrak, and installing this app might fix the freezes.
I'm on Oxygen, not really having the time to test this, but anyone on stock might give this a try and post feedback.
- install Tegrak
- OC the GPU to 257 Mhz, or find a good clock
- you might as well downclock the CPU a bit to prevent heating, 800 will be enough to run this.

I just got done playing a round.. Holy heck.. I never thought a Online FPS could ever come close to looking and performing as good as a PC game.. Absolutely amazing graphics and fun gameplay.

Play the Team game... i forget the name of it Zone Match or something like that.. it was pretty fun even though the team we were up against sucked..
I just tried that game once I fixed my tablet back to the standard ui... that game is amazing.. got my butt kicked but it was fun.

Restart the game reset the control to defaults and redo the controls that fixed it for me, usually happens just the first time.
Great graphics, good gameplay. Can't wait to see what next year's Nexus tablet will be bring to the table,....PS Vita you gonna get whooped!

So, not in a long future I am going to buy Ouya android gaming console, cause I have found pretty great deal. But I heard that the "Ouya Store" is shutdown + most of Ouya titles are arcade-type of games...
So I have a big big big request, if you still have pre-installed games on your Xperia Play phone could you back them up for me to .apk format and kindly include the data (.obb file)?? <3 unfortunately I had sold my phone few years back and since it had playstation controlls I think it could run well on ouya (I hope this ain't against XDA forum rules)

If you managed to get Crash working, could you upload the files for that? I'm talking about the .apk and .zpak files. I'm only asking you because I can't seem to get it working on my device (but then again I've got a custom ROM and unlocked bootloader...) and I'm not particularly keen on returning my phone entirely to stock for the possibility of maybe managing to download it myself.
You actually can take out the game apks from the firmwares, so actually dont need to reflashing many times of your device at all.
Though i've some question to ask. Im own the Asphalt 6 HD before buying at the Gameloft website at old times (but when installed the game is not HD at all), but the game refuse to download the data, thou im still thinking why is not working anymore in this year but when im use the game apk from the Japanese FW, (this is the truely HD) and the game just works. If there any way to bypass it, please PM me. Many others Gameloft games that i've buy and own is not working anymore, but only from the Firmwares still works.
