Quirks:
GPS: After first install, turn on GPS and reboot.
APN: To prevent APN list forceclose I have removed the APN-list. A backup can be found at "/system/etc/apns-conf-old.xml" find you APN here and add it manually. (Also attached)
Trackball: Trackball might glow once, but that's it.

Installation:
Enter Custom Recovery (Amon-Ra or similar)
WIPE Data
WIPE Dalvik-Cache
Install Update from SD Card ->NeORoM2.x.zip
Wait for boot and complete Setup Wizard.
Turn on GPS.
Reboot.
Enjoy.
NK Update
NK update is just a new boot image with the kernel I have compiled from Behnaams kernel source. It enables overclocking the device to 710MHz using overclock widget from the market (not included) and hopefully should fix some stability and battery issues, but read more on the kernel itself for info.
You don't need to wipe or anything, just copy to your SD and from recovery, flash the 21NK.zip.
I'm not sure if I have set permissions correctly for the new wlan.ko module that has been compiled for use with this so let me know if wifi doesn't work. (if not, a simple "chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko" should fix it.)

Battery life was too horrid, so I switched to the Legend Build, I'm happy to release the final NeORoM1.3c which was never publically released on the understanding the re will be little to no further support for that build.

They show, yes, whether or not they work remains to be seen because I havn't bought any.

Very nice ROM.
Mostly translated Menus (german), not like the Eris leak.
Its nicely fast and more apps are running stable as in VillainROM 3.4.
I found a little graphic bug after boot when you unlock the SIM card. But its not fatal
It is possible to remove the bootsound? I dont like that.
Oh and Swype (beta leak) is force closing. But it doesn't greatly matter.

Yikes, I don't know how that image got in there, it was part of my early testing for some framework edits. I was certain I had removed it. It doesn't show on mine :S
As for thhe boot sound, again, I'm sure I removed it, I really hope I didn't upload the wrong build, it's looking that way though!

Yes, same as everywhere else, Landscape mode still doesn't work, because it isn't meant to, I don't include it because I'm keeping the ROM"clean".

Sorry about this guys, I just think I finally got a proper solution to the apn problem so it's going to take a little while longer while I flash it to my phone to test and make sure.

I've tested for a long time and all functions works well,if you got some problem with root,please do a full wipe and try again.thx
remove android_audio.mp3 in /data/local to disable the bootsound

Don't select any theme at the first boot,just press back button,then other crashes only show once and never again.
Use adb push command to push your font in ,if any font pack not working.

How can I change the Lock Screen pic? it is not allowing me from Personalise, there is no option.
Is there another way? I dont like looking at those birds, they look so smug.

Change background in lockscreen is posible to do with MyModes, but gallery FC when I try it.
I try it also directly from gallery but it have same result, FC.
I have any other issue: trackball dont flash for notification.

Nice ROM, but one issue... I can't set a photo as lock screen wallpaper. Press Save in gallery and gallery FC.

Q: I have installed Gallery 3D from Samsung and cleaned my media thumbnails. The result is terrifying as Gallery3D is processing very very slow.
A: Clean media thumbnails again, then use QuickPic to generate them as it has a better algorithm. After QuickPic finishes use Gallery3D and enjoy the smoothness

Looks great, very slim and fast, I'll give it a shot soon and add a keyboard myself, not such a Swype fan myself.

Introduction:
Hello, this is my attempt on ROM cooking. I have made this for myself, but since other peoples wanted to have something that isn't available while i got what they want so i thought i can share this with you.
My goals are maximum internal free space, stability and usability.
If you like it, please post bugs and suggestions, that is your way of saying thank you!
I really hope you enjoy it.
Requirements:
European HD2.
MAGLDR 1.1*
USB Cable.
You.
Installation:
1.Download the "Removed Apps" zip file.
2.Check the size of the chosen apps (i.e: 5mb)
3.Download "Feather rev.*"
4.Unzip and open the file named "Flash.cfg"
5.Change the "filesize" with "filesize+'size'M (i.e: "filesize+5M" size of the chosen apps)
6.Save the file.
7.Enter MAGLDR's Menu.
8.Select 'USB Flasher'.
9.Flash using 'DAF' and wait till it finishs.
10.Take a look at the F.A.Q!

Rev = Revision: version, a production of which could be called a revision.
Recommended Apps:
-Move2SD Enabler (Very recommended if you want to have more internal storage)
-Extended Power Control (replaces all the Sense Settings/Dashboards)
-Current Widget (Control your battery drainage)
-Root Explorer (A file explorer which can access the root dir)
-SetCPU (A great application which can Overclock or Underclock your CPU)
-Button Saviour or Savior (With this, your HD2 will never have problems with the Hard-Keys)
F.A.Q:
How much Internal Free space does this build have?
-Its about 250mb.
How to install the 'removed apps'?
-Windows users: use 'Droid Explorer' or anything similar [DO NOT INSTALL, JUST COPY TO "/system/app" and reboot]
-Linux users: The best method that works is "ADB" on Terminal, more info here
-If you have space problems then here's a Solution
Do i have to wait so long to get an accurate GPS fix?
-No, i've tested this with many other members, so far GPS works fine.
What about the Battery drain on standby?
-It may vary between 2-5mA (for me its a constant 3mA, some others reported 2mA)
What about WiFi and BT MAC address?
-As for now its only showing 00:11:22:33:44:55, its Kernel related.
Is this an RMNET or PPP Version?
-Its an RMNET version, if you want PPP then try the Search button or ask someone to help you.
Why is MMS not working properly?
-It needs to be configured, just take a look at This

After the ROM has loaded for the first time - REBOOT!!!
When the theme is set on first boot, it doesn't always apply correctly. Re-applying the theme will fix this issue.

Please could someone confirm this?
I tried to test it and could connect to the hotspot but was unable to browse the net.
It could have just been poor signal though.

This is just a widget you can add to your home screen which turns off and locks the screen when pressed.
It's to save wear and tear on the power key.

I'm looking into this. Location is working if you enable Use Wireless Networks under My Location settings, but GPS seems to be broken.
I'll fix this for v1.2.

Yes, you can install over another rom, but I really wouldn't recommend it.
It's likely to cause problems if you don't do a fresh install each time.
ETA for new build: ???
I've just cooked a new version using a slightly different base and included the latest GPS Libs by tytung. I'll see if I have any luck with this. Before I release any new versions I'm going to test them a little more thoroughly.

Yep. The new builds are being uploaded - v1.5. Everything should be working. Please let me know if you find any bugs.
