[Q] Archos 101 amazon mp3 issues - Gen8, Gen9, Gen10 Themes and Apps

Anyone managed to get Amazon MP3 app working on their Archos. Installs fine and finds music, but if I try and purchase anything, it keeps asking me to sign in. I enter my password, but I keep getting an error message and a prompt to enter the password again. Works fine on my Desire.
Edit: Just discovered this post on Archosfans forum, so other people are having this problem too. Would be great to hear if anyone has managed to get it to work?

Help: Error While Checking Email

Hey, im not sure if anybody else has this problem or not, but here goes.
I'm trying to use my Yahoo! mail account from my phone.
THis morning i checked my email and got nearly 20 messages, perfectly fine.
Now im trying to reconnect (Menu > 8. Send/Recieve) to download an attachment, and i get an Error
"Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Connections."
Any idea how to fix this?
oh, i almost forgot, im using the T-Mo Web 5.99 tweak.
Thanks guys
I'm surprised it worked at all on that plan. But if you want to give it a shot try making sure that the mailbox is still set to use the right access point. Are you able to browse sites without issue?
with no problem at all

[Q] google sign in error after froyo update

Hi I searched and saw no answer for this. My wife upgraded her phone via OTA froyo update today and eversince she continues to get the Google Sign-in error on her eupic 4g. We tried changing the password on google and that didn't work. I tried rebooting the phone. I google seached the web as well and didn't see an answer. Has anyone else expereinced this problem? does anyone have a fix? One site i read said to to a factory reset, but I would hate to do that if I don't have to.
I will be following the thread from my Captivate that doesn't have froyo yet.
my wife forgot her password and it was saying the same thing. I went on to my home computer and went to gmail and put her email in and clicked on lost password. THE SCARRY PART IS THAT GOOGLE HAD MY HOME EMAIL ALREADY AND IT EMAILED THE RESET PASSWORD .How in the hell did google get my email address on my computer that I was on? but anyway it worked and after about 10 min I put the new password in the phone and it worked. hope this helps and remember BIG GOOGLE IS WATCHING.
Figured it out. My wife had Google authenticator setup I logged in to Google and turned it off then her password worked just fine.

Google Voice on Archos 101!!

I have successfully been able to set up google voice on my 101 to send and receive sms messages. Install google voice from the market, go through the set up as if you were installing on your phone (you must have a google voice number). Once set up just start texting, it will work on both devices at the same time. You will also be able to get any voice mail you have set up with it. I also have been albe to set up Tango video chat using my google voice number. I now have almost everything thats on my EVO working on my 101. Still working on a possible way to make calls, will post if I can get it working. Hope this helps someone else like it did for me.

What sms app are you using? I get a force close when I try to use "this phone" during setup.

I'm using google voice with my google number. Just set it up like you would on your phone. Do you have the gapps installer? You need to install that first, then download google voice from the market.

I get a force close when I try to use "this phone" during setup. Did you do anything different when you were going through the Google Voice setup?
No nothing special, it only took me a couple minutes. It asked me witch phone I was using and I told it my evo, then skip the carrier setup and it works. Dont know why it would be force closing, didn't have any issues with google voice or Tango video chat. Do you have google voice set up on another device? Mine is set up on my evo, so when it asks what I wanna use I tell it my evo.

OH, no. The google voice is just supported at USA.
How can I change my location or network location to USA?
Anybody get anywhere on this?
I am trying to do the same thing... I wanted to see if anybody has made any real progress with this.
I keep reading that the SIPdroid and PBX account will work, but I can not configure it properly. I am having a hard time here.
I have Fring installed as well.
I have had a Google voice account for a year now and I have it working on the Archos 101 tablet already. The text and voicemail works great.
Thought that I would revive this thread a little since it is something that I am very interested in.
I had it set up at one point, using Sipdroid. but then my archos got fried and now I am stuck at the "setting up voicemail" part... sucks. when i get it figured out I will let you know how exactly to get it running.

You can use the edited apk from the Xoom forum.

Edit: ****
You do not need to be rooted to use this. Download the apk and then run it. When prompted for which phone you are using, select your regular phone, as was previously mentioned by jeffsanace.

[Q] Can't get this info right now - NL HTC HD2

Hi all,
thanks to you I finally managed to run WP7 on the HTC HD2. so thank you
I managed to get an activation code from Microsoft (via Chat). So I was ready to download my first app. And then I got "Can't get this info right now." *sigh*
So I did a search and apparently some people where saying that the store was down. Is that so? Or maybe it's just because I live in the Netherlands. I did the Zune account / Credit Card thing... but still no luck.
Could use some help.
Thanks.

[Q] Phone won't log into E-mail account

Just recently my phone is getting hung up when trying to download my e-mail. It can't log on, then it won't disconnect. I've tried a hard reset and still no luck. I'm connecting to a g-mail account. I've been running the same ROM for over a yr and haven't had any issues until just this week. Any one else out there have an issue with this?
Looks like this is a Google problem. They're researching it. Read about it here.
The word is if you disable automatic send/receive and manual download instead, it should work.
However, I'm in the process of trying this now, and it's doing the same thing.
thanks, I just set-up a yahoo account and it's working good. Guess I'll push my e-mail that way until they get it figured out.

"Word" isn't entirely correct... my phone still hangs at login stage even after a hard reboot. Switching to POP access from IMAP looks more promising.
Neither worked for me, so if it works for you, you're one step ahead.
A fix for another problem seems to have fixed the problem for those who started experiencing the hanging since May 19th.
Google is still in the process of confirming whether this fix is officially *the* fix for mobile Gmail.
I can confirm on my phone that Gmail (at least manual send/receive) is now working again. I just switched back to automatic send/receive to see if that works as well.
Hi do not know if these were witnessed feel that your phone so me and my other friends was what happened to us

It would be my guess we all experienced the same thing... someone at gmail goofed. Wasn't limited to any one device or carrier. They seem to have fixed it now, mine's been working fine since the day after my last post.
Searching the internet I found something on a topic also called the sleep of death occurred only for the HTC Touch Pro 2 which had the Windows Mobile 6.5 version will leave the link in case you want to see.
