Thank you, i was waiting for a CWM Desire Hd build, just a question, why you didnt use app2sd+ or data.img to Sd for extra storage?

Thanks..!!!
Will try ASAP..!!!
Request for SS please..!!!

forgot to add in op, it supports ext partition for apps2sd

Nice to see a Desire HD Rom from you. I will try now

im confused when did cotulla release a DHD rom? is it based on 1.72 or 1.32?

Cotulla's nand release was "Desire" not "Desire HD" or am I missing something?
Is this a Desire build or DHD build?

I think he forgot to change the post. He may copied the entire text written from his desire build already released 4 days back.
Sent from my HTC DesireHD2 using XDA app

I can't install apps from market. Stuck at "currently downloading" screen?

very good rom... absolutly fast and no laggs on scrolling... its amazing
and its 1.72
-just no root acess give me

That's nice, thanks.
Unfortunately i'm having a problem with wi-fi, stuck on "obtaining an Ip address", anyother has this problem?
PS: previously i gave a try to build a Desire HD rom but i had the same problem with wi-fi but it is not present while flashing with MAGLDR.

+1 please. Or data.img on SD. Lots of apps need to be installed on internal memory.

bugs: green tint when taking pictures, camera effects (some of them) are not working = looks like standard pic. Press upload from preview screen after taking a pic = fc.

Hi there,
I have a slight problem.
Basically I'm running MAGLDR1.1, flashed latest CWR HD2 with 250MB partition, I accessed it no problem, I created a 2GB A2SD+ partition, then I followed your instructions to install zip file, but I rebooted and after I booted into MAGLDR and loaded AD NAND but after GO GO GO the phone is restarting.
Now I believe that GO GO GO issue was solved in MAGLDR1.1
Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong please?

Additional Information:
This will wipe winmo off your phone. To get it back just flash a stock winmo rom. Also, magldr takes the place of the SECOND bootscreen (there are three stages). So you can flash a first stage bootscreen no problem (I have done this), but do NOT flash a second stage one.

[16 Jan] MarkinuX CM 6.1e [Very Fast, Very small, App2SD+, ext4, Daily Use]

Hi!
I built thei rom for me self, it's very nice and very fast for daily use.
Working:
Almost All
NotWorking:
Wifi Tethering
I added the app2sd+ mod. To enable it, you have to create a second partition on your sd card. But as first, BACKUP YOUR SD DATA !. The first one has to be the fat32 for data. Second ext2/3/4. 512 Mb should be fine. I have 1.5 GB. If the partition exists, the system is using it for apps and other stuff. You have ca 245 MB Free on /data after this mod. Second good thing, if you install a update, you don't need to reinstall the apps, they are still there. If you don't create the second part, the data is like usually on nand. Automatic detection.
- You need MAGLDR 1.11
- NAND Build
- Kernel is almost stock from our git.
- Android 2.21
- You can create the partitions e.g. wirth gparted in linux (live cd boot for windows), or windows partition tools
- No OC or such stuff
- Interactive gouvernor
- completly cleaned initrd
- correct file rights
- rooted
- new busybox with many new system commands
- Based on DeFroST 6.1a Desire Build
It's made for daily use.
5mA standby
8mA with Bluetooth
For Overclocking use MDJs kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831585
Simple download, extract, connect phone, run batch.
NEW MarkinuX CM 6.1e:
Changed:
- Fixed BT drain
- Fixed mediaservice problems on boot
- Improved boot speed

MarkinuX CM 6.1d:
Changed:

- Improvements for BT
MarkinuX CM 6.1c:
Changed:
- Fixed Bluetooth
- Fixed TS Freezes
MarkinuX CM 6.1b:
Changed:

[02 Mar 2011][CWM-zip][Fix] Loud outgoing volume fix

Warning: Use this fix at your own risk. Please do not pm me for support on this. I'm just sharing a fix I found already in place and used in another rom.
Credit: 100% credit goes to iamgpc http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=224&t=1957441&m=f&r=3&p=1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=909096 .
Problem:
- Outgoing (dialing out) volume defaults to the maximum. The work around is to either hit the volume + or - or turn the speaker phone on and off quickly during a outgoing to force the device to pick up the preset volume
- Depending on the preset volume, incoming calls could be quiet and outgoing calls can be extremely loud depending on the htcleo.acdb file
- I had this issue on almost every rom I used
Solution - libaudio.so
- During my testing of "gpc_hd2_gingerbread_v19b" rom, I noticed this issue did not exist on this particular rom.
- Traced this back to libaudio.so after comparing various libs under /system
- Pushed libaudio.so from the gpc rom to /system/lib/ using tyween's "Typhoon" rom and noticed the max outgoing call volume issue was not longer present
Fix
- Highly recommend doing a nandroid back-up prior to applying fixes. If fix does not work and cause boot loops, you will have to restore /system .
- Extract and push the lib files from the attached zip file to /system/lib/.
or
- Try flashing the zip using CWM. I quickly slapped it together so not sure if it is working correctly
Tested to work on following rom's:
libaudio-fix-CM-Typhoon.zip for the following builds:
- tyween's "Typhoon CM7 2.4.5" rom no longer needed. Incorporated in V2.5+
- Mdeejay 2.6 CM7 build - Based on user feedback
- Pongster's HyperDroidGBX v7 - Based on user feedback
libaudio-fix-NexusHD2-Ginger-tytung.zip for the following builds:
- Tytung's "NexusHD2 Gingergread 2.3" rom
- rafpigna's RAFDROID HD 3.2.2 - SD build only
- Untested on other builds
Change log:
- Mar 02, 2011 - Added separate zip file (libaudio-fix-NexusHD2-Ginger-tytung.zip) for Tytung's ginger bread
Nice man!
Edit: Just tried on a Desire build doesn't boot for me

The high mic gain is a separate issue. There is a fix by using a different htcleo.acdb file. Try searching for the fix. I don't have the link at the moment.

Tested working on RAFDROID Desire HD 3.2.2 - SD build. This should also work on Rafdroid Desire HD 3.2 nand build.
You think it will also work on Desire based build? (not HD)
DFT
will this work on the DFT version of MDJ CM7 2.6? If so how can I apply it?
Working with HyperDroidGBX v7! Thanks! libaudio-fix-CM-Typhoon.zip
But it feels like volume is loud at first, but than quickly became normal..is it ok?
The Phone Volumen works fine now,but the Media Volumn become too low?
Anyone have the same Problem?
PS: Typhoon_CM7_2.4.5
EDIT: The ideal solution for this problem is to fix the source code. Unfortunately, I don't have the time and proper tools to decompile the lib file libaudio.so. Any Dev's want to give this a try? I'm not sure if this lib is based on the passion(Nexus one).

Which Desire build are you using? I'm not certain if these fixes will work on the Desire build you are using. Unfortunately the libs are not consistent between builds and contain different modifications. When changing anything in /system, there is always the risk of having to restore.
If you are comfortable with basic ADB commands, you could copy the original libs as backup and push them back using ADB if you get a bootloop. But be warned, you may have to reflash causing data loss if you use a DFT based flash(no clockwork mod recovery). I should note I've intentionally caused the bootloop on various builds just to identify the libs that are different between builds and have always been able to recovery from boot loop pushing the original files back.

You could try using either adb or root explorer to manually push the file. Make sure you back up the original lib file. I would strongly recommend you try Typhoon CM7 rom. It is much more up to date in comparison to Mdeejay's rom.

Unfortuneately I don't have the time to look at the libs for this rom to figure what will/won't work. Since it uses CWM to flash the rom, you could do a nandroid backup followed by flashing zip file: libaudio-fix-NexusHD2-Ginger-tytung.zip to see if it works. Worse case, restore /system from the nandroid backup if it doesn't work.
The best solution is to rebuild libaudio.so from source to correct the issue. Unfortuneately I don't have the expertise nor time to do this. Any dev's willing to look at this?

Just reporting some bugs that I encountered after flashing this:
1.) Data is buggy as a default. Choose the T-Mobile US APN, then you can log into stuff.
2.) On first boot, you may be unable to log into ANY accounts. Just skip everything, then go to settings>accounts>login.
3.) HTC Wireless Hotspot shows up on another device, but you are unable to connect to it. I'm gonna reboot a few times and fix permissions, then I'll get back to you.
EDIT: After rebooting, Wi-Fi Hotspot does not work at all. At all. I'm gonna DL a third party and try again.
EDIT2: Installed WiFi Tether Pre 1. Worked for 2.5 seconds, sent phone into a bootloop. Tethering DOES NOT work on this build.
4.) Graphic Glitches Are Glitchy. 'Nuff said.
5.) The new LWP automatically FCs after selecting it. No biggie. It was fun for the 30 seconds it was working lol.
6.) First boot takes 5 minutes. Seriously.
my wifi connects but i can't use the internet
O how i wish some of these great ROMS were in DAF. for some reason i can never get the CWR to work Flashing with DAF is so easy.
Fast * smooth
home wifi is connected but CAN"T go to internet
40 sec boot!!!! This rom is too fast! I love the boot time, it's not your typical 3 min anymore.
40 SECS!

I have to agree with you here. If we didn't have to keep changing System Partition sizes (100, 150, 250, etc), then CWR would be awesomely better. But having to change the System Partition sizes all the time, negates the advantage of CWR as DAF does both the system partitioning and flash at the same time... just my 2c...

Hey maybe the DEV's can write a script, that will automatically partition for us, and include it in the ROMs...

That would be great, cos then we wouldn't need a PC to do any part of the flashing. Could download the new ROM over wireless to device and flash. I recon the advantage is that if you're away from home/office and find a ROM buggy or just having issues with certain type of ROM, you could easily go back to your "favorite" ROM regardless of System Partition size.

I'm likely to answer your ROMs questions

HI everybody, I found my self a bit experienced in issues which can appear with GB ROMs for DHD (not so experienced to develop) so I can answer your questions in this thread or PM as you like.
For now I don't answer questions about CM* and MIUI* and not likely to answer questions about FroYo ROMS.
What's the wifi scan interval in ARHD 5.1.1?
It seems for me you know the answer?
EDIT: only now understand your question, as i remebmer it didn't change since FroYo, but I can test if you really need to know it..=)
45 Seconds, I honestly didn't know. Had to check myself.
I've got an easy question. how exactly(!) did you get MDJ's V8 kernel on your phone.
step by step, pls
greets and thanks
Thanks for info, honestly never thought about it because used wi-fi only in home/restraunts... so I used it when I need and then turn of..

EDIT: Note that it will be shown in your kernel info as 'Unknown kernel' you can read about it in 'Issues' in the link i gave...
Thank you so much! I bet, it will be same procedure with everything around here, where everyone simply says "flash it with cwm"?
Greets
Yeap instead of cases when you have to wipe...
When you boot into recovery you'll find 'wipe' choose it and follow steps proposed is easy understandable

Would this be a similar process if I wanted to flash a MOD onto my ROM? So if I wanted to flash the Sense 3 lock screen or the CRT effect, would I do it in this way..? So boot phone into recovery and then select the *.zip file?
Cheers.

Nice one! Id flashed to 5.1.1 and then the additional MODs caught my eye and I was just unsure how to flash them.
me too
I'm still on 5.1.0 and checking the possibilities. by now, I'm not keen on flashing the mods, 'cause mike just announced 5.1.2 and i wonder, how long it will take him to make it final. the way he works, it shouldn't be long, so i will be prepared, when he reaches this point and untill that, there's no need for me, to do nothing but flashing my device

Yeah I've just seen this announcement too and now I'm thinking about putting the MOD flashing on hold.
But I have another question, with v5.1.2, because I already have v5.1.1, I wont need to do a full wipe. So does this mean I'll just need to use ROM Manager and install the new ROM from *.zip over the top of the old one?
OR do I use EASY-UPGRADE-WIPE-1.3.zip (instead of FULL-WIPE-1.3.zip) and then flash the ROM.
Also with this method am I right in thinking that I won't lose my contacts/messages/call history etc?
Same here.

YES, you only must to flash the new rom _(5.1.2) over the 5.1.1 without wipes.
note: the fullwipe.zip is better for people than flash a lot of times, also you can do full wipe from CWM recovery manually.
