No its just the beta8 repacked and reuploaded, because the rar on the ftp wasn't accurately packed.

Save contact to SIM
I'm using rc1.
Contacts/tapping any contact/Menu/Save to SIM. The last item namely "Save to SIM" is not available (grey color, not black). Looks it's necessary to change a value somewhere in registry, but I did not manage to find what and where.
Does some1 face such problem? Or there is a solution the problem? Does this bug exists in beta8?

yes, "Save to SIM" is active and works.

it will hang up when synchronizing with pc some times,and will show cannot get IP from server.I use beta 8.

did anybody try the *ARM*CAB? (BTP). I've downloaded it, the BT manager has changed but when I search for the Universal's services on my notebook, I get only the same 3 services az before...

I tried to flash de beta8 but i get country ID error 120... i read the readme file and it says:
Q14: I get “error 120: Country id error”, what should I do?
A: It may due to you get the wrong image. Please check your device’s device name and language type and download RUU package from the vender web site again and reset your device and then run RUU again.
Has anybody had this problem..I bought my device as qtek9000 via the official vendor of HTC pda's in Holland... I bought it through my girlfriends telecom company... it comes with WM5.0 UK...
it's not simlocked..of course i just updated the radio rom from 1.9.0 to 1.13 with the tools provided by this forum.

You have to use MupgradeNoid.exe

Which did you try? The 3.2 version or the 3.3?
What is the difference between the two anyway?

I tried both and none of them worked. Something wrong with the ROM image, also tried MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe but it doesn't even display the ROM version to be updated. I think the file is corrupted.

i got aku3.3 update working right now. this is what i have done:
- copy the nk.nbf to an empty directory and copy the following files from another aku3.2 update package (ivans for instance) in the directory where nk.nbf is located:
EnterBL.exe
GetDeviceData.exe
ROMUpgradeUt.exe
RUU.dll
RUU.conf
UI.dll
maybe not all files are required but it was easier for me to copy the whole bunch instead of searching for the real required ones
@helmi: can you please check the integrity of the htc files required for update. something must went wrong while preparing the rar-file.

I've got the same issue; then copied only nk.nbf into my original qtek-upgrade directory, changed header to QTEK_001 and worked.

hmm... Its seems the romupgrade and its dependency is corrupt for some pc... sorry about that...

I have downloded and installed Helmi UNI AKU3.3 (very fast rom indeed), but my version shows OS 5.1342 (Build 15671.3.2.0), doesn't that mean it is in fact an AKU 3.2???
Anyway it seem to be a very good rom!

Build 15671 is AKU3.3, Build 15605 is for AKU.3.2
Its seems I've forgot to mod the
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Versions]
"Aku"=".3.3.0"

Hard-SPL 1.30 MFG - Oli

The new and improved hard-spl for our trinities, thanks to a little glitch in hard-spl's protecting itself against the new spl from HTC we have this new addition Olipro finished for us today. This is based on 1.05 MFG so we now have lnb capability and the rtasks. In addition of course, this SPL really should protect itself against being reflashed...
Donations to Olipro, I am only posting it...

Can I upgrade with this tool my P3600 with original WM5 GPS activated Dutch version to WM6?
Or do I need to take other steps?
And, what's the best official WM6 rom to use for European P3600 ?

enter the bootloader and run mtty on your computer and do "task 32" - tell me what that returns.
also, tell me what version displays on the device

I have this problem and spent almost an hour trying. You will need to find an OS only ROM(Eg. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=312499) and it will flash successfully. Then you boot the PDA OS up and flash any suitable ROM.

I've removed the link for now, this is a bug in his patch and he's looking at it now. In the meantime you need to flash via SSPL or reflash the older hard-spl...

How to flash PDAVIET Rom Black&Blue v3.7

Subject: There are problems reported when flashing
PDAVIET Rom Black&Blue v3.7 For HTC Artemis & HTC Love ROM © by tom_codon
Issue: During flashing customized B&B v3.7 © (by tom_codon)
ROM, flasher stops at 3%-4%, stating - INVALID MODEL ID.
(it may other error messages appears as well, they are not analyzed yet)
Try following steps, it may solve your problem of flashing.
1. Download attached flasher;
2. Unrar to temp directory (like c:/XDA/);
3. Unrar ROM (TOM_Artemis_Black&Blue_v3.7.rar ©) to the same directory above;
4. Rename BB37.nbh file to RUU_signed.nbh;
5. Make sure usb cable is connected
6. Bring your device into bootloader
(http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_Resets)
7. Start binary ROMUpdateUtility.exe, flash normally
Prerequisites:
- uspl is installed on your device;
- activesynch v.4.5 is installed (other version is not tested);
- os is win xp sp2 (other os were not tested);
Recommendations:
(as usual, best practice)
- always have original ROM for device before flashing;
- always have uspl installed before flashing;
: B&B v3.7 ROM does not re-flash SPL on Artemis. So, no need to re-flash uspl after flashing B&B v3.7 ROM.
OS, GSM, splash screen are re-flashed

About 52% it is pretty fast

can you tell us what more is included in this rom.
how it is behaved

When i try installing this ROM i get an error "Error [244] : INVALID MODEL ID"
This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your update utility.

I am using Diamond. its unlocked, i have used different kinds of ROM's but why this error then?

Having installed various versions you should know by now......yet if you don't extract the nbh file from setup, rename it diamimg.nbh copy onto your internal storage, start boot loader (pressing vol down+back button+red reset) and there you go!!!!now being repeated one million and one times.......hurray!!!

LOL...Good job

Here are some pictures, 8pp is default , I changed mine to 12pp. TomTom is incliuded. Voice speed dial is also included as i had added MSVC

my boot screen is changed to ORANGE , even when i flash someother ROM the screen is same is there a way to change....????
Problem solved ... installed a stock ROM and then the ORANGE boot screen is gone

settled reset back the garmin to default setting

for those with cryptic jargon/signs problem set english uk/usa or whatever from regional settings, default is romanian!
