youre going to want a screen rotector with a matte finish, then. they are highly resistant to fingerprints, as well as reducing the glare on the screen from overhead lighting. Now, they are not foolproof, nor are the completely anti-glare or fingerprint-repellant. They just seem to to be the best option.

Although the Thunderbolts screen is supposed to be pretty tough, it is not gorilla glass.

Only down side is they take away the sharpness of the picture. I just run VZW screen covers. I've had this one on since launch day and it still isn't peeling or bubbling.
Um using the seidio protector. Its the only one I have used that hasn't dulled the look. Simple install.

Yea very good. I used the crystal clear one and I'm currently using that anti fingerprint one with the matte finish
Invisashield from zagg. Best screen protector hands down. Had one on my imagio for over a year and put it through all kinds of abuse. Its still on and perfect. Show me another screen cover that you can scratch the **** out of with keys and it won't even phase it. Put one on my TB as soon as I took it out of the box and fully expect it to stay on long past the life of this phone.

I got the crystal clear from steinheil and it is nice. But it has scratches on the protector. Thinking of testing another brand. Something more durable.

How is the matte finish? Does it take away from the image quality of the screen?
Not true my usb charging cable barley touched my screen and scratched it. Sad thing is I'm anal about my phone, tablet, tv, and gaming systems. I take better care of those then I do my girlfriend LOL.

I am also looking to matte finish protector.... will check out the mall today
My crystal Steinheil is amazing. Try that.
I hate my Invisashield with the "orangepeel" texture. It also has a kind of tacky-feel to it.
I bought my girlfriend a sonix (by Lenntex) screen protector 2-pack (clear and anti-glare) for her iPhone and they're great! The finish is really hard and super smooth. It feels just like the naked glass. I'm waiting for my Thunderbolt ones to deliver any day now.
I purchased the protectors from Verizon. They work fairly well I have several scratches in the protector but not the screen. After prolonged usage though I can't clean the protector all the way anymore. Going to have to take it off and put on the second one that came with the kit.

Matte Screen Protector?

Hi all,
Do you guys have any recommendations for a matte screen protector? I like how it's much easier to see the display when outdoors.
Are there any tradeoffs to using these protectors? Color/clarity distortion? Touch sensitivity loss?
Thanks a bunch,
>>Sent from my Samsung T989 & Mr.X 2.3.6
Give up on that idea. A good matte screen protector does not exist.
Tradeoffs of using one is that it makes the display look HIDEOUS. Smear a whole bunch of oil on the phone until you get a haze effect and then you'll see what a matte protector will do. It's not worth it sadly.
i would imagine matte screen protectors would make ur screen look horrendous too lol
I run a matte anti fingerprint screen protector. Looks good. Makes the screen look a little grainy. Other than that i like it.

What's the brand and can you post a link?

SGP Ultra Fine is by far the best matte screen protector I've used. Minimal distortion.

Screen protector that covers scratches

I was wondering if you can get a screen protector covers scratches so you can't see them, does anyone have one and willing to take a picture of how it covers the scratch

XO Skins.
its a wet apply screen protector that will not "remove" scratches, but will make them invisible to you until you take the screen protector off. Also unlike many other wet application screen protectors it does not have an orange peel affect. Its also very thin compared to other wet applications such as a zagg, so its a little more difficult to install.

u're joking right?
Zagg is a humongous piece of crap. I got it free when I bought the phone....really...even those 10 screen protectors for £1 are better!
I now have the SGP curved crystal....and IT IS AWESOME!...(as long as you manage to install it properly )

I have the sgp ultra nano and love it. Wish it didn't get as greasy but it's soooo better than the zagg.
Zagg protectors are worse than the $1.00 screen protectors on eBay that come with like 7 protectors. Absolute garbage screen protectors.
I am using the Ultra Nano Clear and it is one of the best screen protectors I have used for any phone.
Try Dynaflo, it is a nano liquid application. There is nothing to apply but a few sprays.
SGP nano is sooo clear compared to the zagg.
Ive never used screen protectors, but im using a zag hd with no complaints.
Why you guys hate on zagg? Whats wrong with them?

Not so with the Zagg HD. I have it on and it feels just like the screen. They really have improved them.

Sounds nice. Prior experiences with them have sucked. I'm torn between this and the full screen dry application screen protectors.
Girlfriend has a Zagg HD on her HTC One X and it looks world's beyond the old Zagg protectors

I recommend SGP Ultra Nano - one of the best screen protectors, very thin and clear though hard to apply; Zagg shield turns yellow after a few months
Get the nano, if you have any type of case the tiny edge that is left exposed is a non issue. I will agree that its sorta tough to install really any of these perfect. The nano came with 3 luckily as I jacked up the first one because you cant freakin see the thing on there and it was crooked...but second time was good. So I still have one left over to use once this one gets too banged up.

I have the otterbox defender case with the verizon glass screen protector that was included with the bundle at time of purchase. so far, so good. if this screen protector breaks i will immediately get the zagg glass screen protector. unless of course the zagg goes on sale soon

Yes. I use the Zagg and you need to remove the one o the Otterbox. The screen protector on the Otterbox is attached using a thin bead of silicone similar to the glue used to attach address labels to magazines.
Separate the two Otterbox halves and remove the protector by pushing on a corner of the protector from the outside. Once the corner is loose, slowly peel the protector off, trying to keep the bead of glue attached to the protector.
