Hi running myn's warm two point two with hulu flash, was working for about two weeks. After which market went to classic green and white (figured that out) and hulu quit working... Have reflashed about four times and no result. now as soon as i reflash right back to a white screen as soon as i click on hulu... any help thanks sooo much!

Mine did the same thing and my market is back green I waited out my hulu and it is just super slow...been reading up on fixes..for now I read..and wait..been catching something about adblocker.. need to research it some more

For Hulu, go to MikFroyo and download his rom. Open using Winzip (or whatever Zip program you have), go to "data" then "apps" and pull out the apk for hulu. It's an updated version. Since MikFroyo 4.4 and Myn RLS5 both support all the new updates, that Hulu should work. I haven't had any issues with it in MikFroyo 4.4 or Myn RLS5.
For princesr, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=900584
In the 2nd post there's a bunch of themed markets, read the instructions and install one of them. That should fix your market problem. You have like 4 colors to choose from, including the all black theme I think is in Myn RLS5. I use MikFroyo's clear one on both but I can't remember how to get it from Mik to Myn.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideas and yes hulu is just super slow to load now took five min...crazy! once loaded like normal. As for the market goto settings, applications, market, and uninstall update this takes it back to myns theme but as of now seems needs to be done after every app download. Gonna give mik froyo theme a a try thanks for the tip!

Push the CM6 keyboard to Fresh Rom? Something you Devs can make work?

I tried upgrading to Fresh Rom 3.1.0.1 but I'm took hooked on the Droid-X keyboard, I had to go back to Eclair Fresh Rom.
I tried CM6 out, bad ass rom btw but I'm so used to Sense, I wanted to stay on Fresh.
Now the Droid-X keyboard will not work on ForYo I heard but what does CM6 have? Sure looks like the Droid-X to me, re-skinned black. Matter of fact I've seen the Droid-X keyboard re-skinned black so I know it was done.
I snagged CM6, ripped it's keyboard apk and tried to install it on Fresh, which Fresh FroYo, which is told me I would be replacing my existing keyboard, then it told me it couldn't install.
Is there a way to remove the factory keyboard with 2.2 and push that one in and have it work or could you devs make it work?
If I'm on the wrong track here, let me know but the one IN CM6 sure looks like the Droid-X running on 2.2 to me.
Is the CM6 keyboard the native 2.2 keyboard?
On a related note, can someone post the .apk for the native 2.2 keyboard?
CM6 is using the stock froyo keyboard with the hidden number panel that you slide up to open. At least RC1 was, and I doubt the nightly would be any different. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
I believe the keyboard in CM6 is the stock Froyo 2.2 keyboard. I'm not sure if you removed the HTC one if it would default to that one since it's not already available when you try to chose a different input method.
Rm apk from cm6 push to w.e. Rom you want... profit

I could be totally wrong, but doesnt RM ReMove stuff? Delete it? Anyway, I took the keyboard from CM6, pushed it to system/app, reset, and it now shows up in input method, but force closes when selected. Must be relying on a lib file or something.
I have Netarchy's ROM installed, and i too fell in love with the CM6 keyboard. So i found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=744373 and now i have the CM6 Keyboard on my ROM. Works Flawless. No FC r anything.

You are AWESOME. Worked like a charm. Thanks a lot!
So then the CM6 keyboard, which is stock ForYo 2.2 keyboard, is the same keyboard the Droid-X was using on 2.1 Eclair?
I'm looking at both the one released as the Droid-X keyboard (Eclair), the white one and the one from CM6 which is black, they look the SAME to me other then color. Both are multi-touch etc too.
I'll have to check out that thread. Just leaving work so I'll check when I get home.
No Problem. Just trynna Help

The Droid X keyboard is a customized version of the stock Android 2.1 keyboard.
The CM6 keyboard IS the stock Android 2.2 keyboard.
The 2.2 keyboard has the feature that lets you drag up to get the number row, this isn't CM6 specific. I don't remember the CM6 keyboard supporting multi-touch, I think I even tried.

[Q] question about gapps

I was wondering, If i flash a new version of gapps over what I already have on my device, will that update all of those google apps? or will it do nothing?
I ask because i have been going back and forth lately from cyanogen 6.1 to slidemeroot5. i know that obviously the biggest difference between these two roms is that one is 2.2 and the other is 2.1. but aside from that i have noticed that google talk appears to be a little different. is this because of the updated version of gapps that i was using with cyanogen?
I want to use slidemeroot5 but with updated gapps. if i flash a new version, will this solve my dilemma? thanks

I honestly think that some of the apps may update and some may not. It all depends on if the apps are built into the rom I guess. Its worth a try though. Nothing bad should result in trying to update GAPP.

it didn't work. gmail and talk weren't even visible after i flashed gapp. then it forced closed. oh well. it's not a big deal

Aren't those 2 apps baked into the rom already?

2.2 and 2.1's gmail app looks different because they are different. Google turned gmail and possibly a few other apps into a standalone app with the Froyo 2.2 rom. 2.1's gmail app isn't standalone, it's built into the rom.

Idk either. Lmao. Your best bet is to wipe and you should be good, or try going to applications and then check if the files are in there. If it shows up then delete it and see.

Well in the update text (open the gapps zip and look for it) you'll notice a line that says something to the effect of
Code:
Format:SYSTEM
or it may be a bit more specific like this
Code:
delete("/system/app/googlevoice.apk");
That's where your apps went.

Myns TwoPointTwo questions

So I seem to have settled on Myns Rom for now. One thing I can't seem to figure out, is the built in update.
I tried running an update to flash Hulu, and when my phone booted back into recovery, I couldn't find the damn zip file anywhere.
Any help and direction would be great.
I am also interested finding more info on the battery tweak offered in Myns updater. Has anyone found it effective, or can it cause more problems then it solves?

Try to download the update again from the Warm Updater. I know sometimes from experience it took a few times for it to actually work for some reason or another. Could possibly be a recovery deal but I am not too sure.
As for the battery tweak I think there is actually a thread that Myn linked to on how to set it up etc. I don't know of too many people using it anymore, but from what I remember worked for some, and not for others. I do know that it interferes with certain types of kernels, however off the top of my head cannot tell you which.
Yeah I will try when I get Home tonight. There's a 'Warm 2.2 Optional' folder on my SD which I figured is where these files would d/l to, or just straight to the SD.

[Q] help to load pages on myns rls5

Based on your original comment, I can't really tell if you mean that it doesn't work when you're browsing, or if you mean it's just not grabbing an IP from sprint or what. I'm going to assume that you're experiencing issues with browsing though after your phone is connected to 4G and showing that it has a 4G signal.
Myn botched the adblock feature in his ROM. You'll have to restore the hosts file if you haven't already. The browser will partially load pages or lock up on sites with flash ads because of this. Grab AdFree (it's free) and tap "Revert". That should restore the hosts file. You can then use the program to block ads effectively.

Followed Sidepart's instructions from another thread, similar to recommendation here, but just doing "revert" as instructed worked, didn't even have to reboot and my browsing was instantly fixed.
This was posted a day or two ago, in Myn's thread, by Incubus26cj. He is one of the developers that works with Myn, and also stuff for the incredible. This seems to work very well, and rid the problem once and for all.
"Anyone that is having browser loading issues in Warm rls5 give this update a shot.
It is the hosts from rls4. Should fix your issues"

I actually tried that first, as I had seen link to the fix in Myn's first post of the thread when I was first flashing to Warm, so tried that, but it didn't work for me, whereas the Adfree App fix did. Maybe a ymmv kinda fix

[Q] Shortened Widget List?

So, I switched from Stock EB13 to Syndicate ROM 1.0, just a couple days before 1.0.1 released. One thing I thought was kinda neat was that when I went to choose a Widget, instead of listing different sized widgets for the same app and making a huge list, it would just list the app once and put the number of available widgets next to it. It made browsing the long list of widgets much cleaner and easier.
A couple days later when 1.0.1 released and I wiped and loaded that, I lost that cool condensed widget list. Can anyone tell me why?
I don't have any idea whether this was Syndicate ROM specific, or something to do with switching to Launcher Pro from TouchWiz, or something else entirely. Maybe it's even just a setting I overlooked?
Thanks if you can point me in the right direction!

Thanks, that appears to be exactly what I was thinking of. I didn't have to install it separately before, though. Was it included in 1.0 and removed from 1.0.1? I don't want to reinstall if it was removed for a good reason (stability, etc).
