Hello XDAers, this ROM is customized for my own but maybe some of you have the same need
When you try these ROMs, no matter they are good or bad, could you please leave some comments? So we can reach for the best ROM. Thanks for your cooperation.

2- install wonderful FingerSuite by Francesco Carlucci from here or download from post#2. However, changing settings in 6.5.3 cannot be close, require reset the phone (but settings saved), just a bit annoying.

as the first one to say thanks for the addition to tweaked+minimal and stock-sided roms, i have some words...
this is great effort from you. as you can imagine most of us are crazed with the htc sense and newer builds. dont let this get you down or if u receive comments abt the old age build version.
personally i must say...nice one man. i have been tweaking the stock rom (build 20764) myself. so its good to know i aint the only one alone sticking to stock roms and builds rather than ported builds. my signature says otherwise, thats cos i m checkin out 21057 myself
but this is one rom i wil download and keep in my device from time to time.

Thanks for the encouragement Very happy to know you have same opinion.
Actually, I have tested many ROMs before I built myself and also tested many SYS builds. In my experience, the difference among those is little except the smoothness in 6.5 compared to 6.1. In addition, the way MS allocate memory is also believed better in 6.5 (with 2 new slots for modules, which can free more memory or ram during operation). However, I don't feel much. Some tweaks bring more obvious feelings.

hi nphaibk...you can use this tool to take screenshots from inside your device...
jus extract n copy the folder to yor device. run the exe file and it wil tell you the instruction...
you can save the image in either jpg or png format. better use png as the file size wil b small.
after takin the screenshots upload the images to a free image hosting website like imageshack.us or photobucket and then use the image link you get to tag to ur 1st post via the image tag

Thanks for your work.
I compared 528 MHz to 692 MHz in CorePlayer benchmark and speed with some avi went from 107% up to 117%. That's an increase of real 9% compared 31% higher cpu clock. Not too bad.
Do I need something else then connection setup for 3g or i just can't use 3g on this great rom?

Actually, I am not so sure if I removed 3G from this ROM. I just did not see 3G option in Connection manager. I will search around and add 3G in (removed since I do not pay for 3G).

And the last one I need is a LIGHT M2D ROM
FAST and CLEAN just like a ROM should be. Great work. The only suggestion is to change the 3G and battery icons. They are old and quite ugly. My opinion only.

This ROM is exactly what I want but I have the same recommendation, with the newer data icons and battery meter with color and 1% increments this ROM would be perfect. The only other thing I will add to it besides the usual apps is the Opal 2G dialer just like pda corner or something a little jazzier but thats no biggie.
i cant read my text messages and for me it's to slow (with my apps). though it looks REALLY nice. back to T-Mobile's Rom

for a clean rom i will really hope its really clean! as in default microsoft clean. but its customizated with your diamond theme.
anyway just to mention some things on this rom
Wireless Manager link is dead in settings. button dun work also.
its clean but i believe this is a must to be included, the 3g phone app must be included for hermes if not user will not be able to use 3G video conference & the 3g button is not assign to anything.

Have you download comm manager from device update
SMS messaging does not work. When I click on a received text i get the box to type in but it takes up the whole screen and I cant see what was said in the text. This is with the threaded setting turned on in advanced config.
Love the amount of RAM you have free. I would give this a try but need the incremental battery meter and ideally the Opal 2G dialer. Glad you haveCRC's device update included so I can change Comm Manager.

Hey man, this can be worked around by turning off threaded messaging, and fixed by the chef by replacing htmlnote.dll in SYS\redist folder
Hey Dude,
For the clean ROM, it is nothing in ROM only Base ROM. You have the option to make your own ROM and to your taste. So, you have all the apps, how they need to install via device update.
For example: Comm Manager, MMS software, Dial 3G or 2G, another themen...
I hope that you have now a clear understanding my clean ROM.

My First thanks to Football. He was there to answer some questions when I was starting learning cooking for the x51v. I also want to thank Dking for providing the new 2700g drivers and DA_G for the WM6.5 builds.
This thread is actually a continuation of this one, where I have released some WM6.1 private professional rom for the axim.
This rom is indeed a full professional rom, with this rom your x51v is not a PDA anymore, it will just become a real VOIP Pdaphone.
What is the difference between a x51v regular rom with a VOIP software (like Sjphone) and this WM6.5 VOIP rom?
Here are the main benifits once your axim is properly configured:
- You only need to turn on your wifi to place or receive VOIP call (You don't need to start any software because the VOIP is native on the OS)
- You can call directly from your contact
- You can import call log and dialed number from any other phone using PimBackup
- There are three way to check your PDAphone is connected to the VOIP network
1/ You can see the two network call bar from the top bar
2/ You can use the VOIP today plugin
3/ You can see your VOIP network from the phone application itself.

This rom have a default page pool value of 12 Mo
Trick: if you need more memory switch to default theme and inactivate titanium, when memory is not an issue just use a Finger UI theme & titanium.
Customize UC if you don't need all 6.5 components. You can also run this rom on a 64 Mo device but then change pagepool to 3.2 Mo and don't use all the 6.5 components refer to the lite thread and check memory consumption table. Compared to a classic rom this rom will use about 2 Mo more because it's a pro rom and runs VOIP phone processes. So If you don't need a pro rom, just take the lite classic 5C0B nb0 together with the 6.5 packages of this rom, you will then get a full 6.5 classic rom.

At first boot both rom will installed the mandatory package via UC (be patient during this phase), at second boot PresetInstaller will be automatically launched so you can install extra package using preselection or chosen by yourself.
It means that if you want to hard reset your device you need to have you SD card to installed the mandatory packages. ( or your system won't be stable).
Extendir roms have been tested with older French builds, those roms perform better but might conflict with other softwares (and then become unstable).

The A11 Extended rom is based on the concept used to build the E01 extendir rom but without the extendir feature. I've build it only for those that have 64 Mo ram x51v and also to be compare with the E01 ( performances ).

Tips & Tricks
-- Release a maximum of memory to use a WM6.5 rom with a 64 Mo x51v:
This trick comes from raynda:
1. Disable Titanium plugins - 1-3MB free RAM
2. Disable WM6.5 Start Menu via utak3r's QuickMenu cab *IMPORTANT* - The start button is now on the bottom of the screen, and the utak3r cab is designed for the previous version of WM6.5, there is no icon in the top left corner. However, QuickMenu is still there and still works and the default Start Menu is still disabled. Be aware though, the top taskbar slide menu (containing Wifi, Volume, Power, etc. options) will be disabled and a buggy box will appear if you tap on those icons.
3. To disable the phone drivers and free up 3-4MB RAM, you can do one of two things.
- Safest method - use a registry search program, such as SKTools, and search for the terms "cell", "voip", "phone", and "dialer", and delete the information in each entry.
- Not so safe method, but works and totally disables phone drivers - create a fake "cprog.exe" and copy over the default "cprog.exe" into the Windows folder. When you soft reset, the drivers won't load, but you will get an error message that "Cprog.exe" isn't signed. You can tap "ok" until the error message goes away.
4. If you don't use Bluetooth, IrDA, or GPS, these drivers can be disabled completely in the registry. To do this, go to HKLM>Drivers and empty the keys for the devices you want to disable. Don't delete the entries, but delete the information in the entries. (Example - don't delete "DWORD - Keep - 1", but delete the 1 from the DWORD. Some keys will regenerate themselves if you delete them entirely, but if you delete the information in the key, they will not regenerate.)
5. HKLM>System>GWE contains some DWORDS that can free up 1-2MB RAM as well, such as "EnableLayeredWindows".
Using these tricks, and totally disabling all Bluetooth references in the registry, I have reached 32MB free RAM. This also was done while still increasing the GlyphCache to 16384.
Another trick - setting the DWORD to "1" instead of "0" in HKLM>System>StorageManager>Filters>replxfilt DWORD "DoImmaculate" will free up a little bit of RAM at the cost of a slightly longer boot time.
Another trick - search the registry for all "Camera" entries and make sure that the entry for Camera is disabled. (DWORD value for Camera should be "0" instead)
Another trick - Set HKLM>Snd>Event>EventCache from 1536 to 0 or 1.

When trying to connect with wifi using WPA/TKIP+AES, it keeps asking pass-phrase without successfully connect.
To solve this go to settings and force TKIP mode, once done it will sucessfully connect each time you'll try.

Do I search for whole words only? Yes, and when I did it, "regular expressions" was unticked. It's best to do this directly after a flash with no software installed so that you don't accidentally mess up anything with Skype or similar programs if you use them. I suggest also that if you do this, you check each search result before deleting anything. I haven't had any problems from doing this, but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone else won't.
Also, there is a mortscript entry in your Windows folder named "VOIP". Make sure to remove that from your startup items.
-What problems could result from using the 'fake' cprog.exe? You'll get an error message every time you soft reset telling you that the current "Cprog.exe" is not signed with a trusted certificate. You have to tap "ok" 4 or 5 times to get it to go away, and it's a bit annoying but if you can live with that or figure out a better way to create a fake "cprog.exe", then the phone drivers will not launch on startup, freeing up 3-5MB RAM.
-Is there any chance of releasing a cab file to disable these phone drivers? I can't speak for Makuu, but I think it might be tough, unless someone creates a dummy cprog.exe, signs it, and then creates a CAB package that copies that exe file into the Windows directory.
How I typically get 30-32MB free RAM with WM6.5
This is how I do it when I flash 6.5, but it isn't for everyone's usage. A big part of it is disabling all IR and Bluetooth drivers since I don't use them and they eat RAM.
1. Change Input Method options to disable all auto correcting and word suggestion.
2. Change Error Reporting to disabled and change the Cache DWORDS for Error Reporting in the registry to 0.
3. Change GPS Settings - Untick the box for "Automatically Manage GPS"
4. Install SKTools and delete all Bluetooth related services in the Services options, especially OBEX. Google the services that you can manage here and either delete or change to manual anything that you find you don't need. (But don't change "Notify", or you won't be able to install any cabs!)
5. Disable any drivers you don't use with SKTools, I always disable all IR, Bluetooth, Cell, SMS, SmartCard, and GPS drivers with SKTools, then I come behind myself and make sure that any registry entries for any of these things are blank. (Note - not deleted altogether, but blank.)
6. Install the utak3r cab to disable the start menu.
7. Install the nueNoBar cab which can be found here on XDA after installing the utak3r cab to completely get rid of the bottom taskbar since you don't need it an it eats about 1 MB RAM.
8. Search the registry for Camera entries and disable them.

Also, I'm not sure if my logic is right on this, but I think that if one disables everything that I disable, they can get away with a smaller pagepool. If I strip down my OS like I just mentioned, I usually also lower the pagepool to 3.2MB as well, and that helps.
Also, there's a second DWORD (limit0 - 73728) in your GlyphCache that can be deleted.

I love this ROM. Very stable...and fast.....can you atach Titanium, Manila for your ROM?
Excellent rom & no issues so far, running the manilla cab and a few extras and stable at 58% memory give or take - that's a good 20% less than any other custom rom with 6.5+tf3d I've tried so far, so kudos!!!
Not so keen on the vista icons in the start menu so patched them but there's a few refuse to change but I'm still more than happy.
No bugs found so far, lets see over a few days

you are welcome , but that's strange .. battery life suppose to be fine because i've improved it already .. actually i didn't noticed that because i have a 1800 mAh battery
what radio do you use ?
any way 3G, Wifi, bluetooth are extremly eats power...you will save battery life as the phone is not constantly switching between 3G and 2G.
you can also try this : go Advanced config> Power Management and disable these :
- SD memory power
- MMC memory power
- NAND memory power
Then Close Advanced config without soft Reset and go back Enable them again Then soft reset

now i am downloading the r5.3 version and your rom...and i can't make my mind witch one to install first..
for now i'm wrighting to say that even if your thread does not have that many posts we all apreciate your work and in my opinion is what i was aspecting for: a fully customizable rom(by the way very daring for you: no manilla of titanium ,like it)

Only two things I notice, the battery indicator not always accuarate, stays at a certain figure, say 90% for a long time, reboot then true figure shows true figure of 70% for example....ran it all morning and thought 90% since charge yesterday was not correct - 70% is good tho!
Also, when running the manilla cab + customizer (TF3D 0.6.7) the phone takes a while before manilla boots, odd as I never had this big delay on earlier roms?

forgot to mention - memory use is amazing on this, cleaned up unused manilla tabs but have everything i need installed and phone is running constant 51%-54% mem, amazing for 6.5+manilla interface even if an old one love it!!

i niticed also baterry indicator problems because spb shell indicator is accurate and showing less battery..some times even the clock is behind on winmo taskbar..
those are minor bugs for me and for now i stick with this build.

this is not about battery life, i guess its just about accurate .. because i haven't noticed any problem with my battery life.
i've added a fix that should solve this bug. please check #3

OK. I have changed the language.txt file in windows directory, so this problem was solved.
I had to set "AutoswitchHandle" registry value of ACS Services to '0' because I got an error message while started my PDA. (There is not AutosWitch.exe in Windows dir.)
It seems everything is good with this ROM.

1. Copy the language.txt to windows directory, overwrite the existing Russian file.
2. Unzip and import the registry file or set manually this. You have to install a registry editor program for this operation. (E.g. Resco explorer with registry editor pluggin)

Actually I accidentally load the PLK version and found that working great! For WWE, QVGA (28205) is working good as well but it only for 64Mb RAM. WWE VGA (28214) is a bit lag when scrolling, and i found that it drain the battery in a day even if i left it unused. looking forward for your new WWE build ROM. Thanks for all the hard work.

If you install CompactSense you'll have to put the manila file thereafter in the windows folder (with totalcommander) to correct an alignment in the Start menu.

This ROM looks very fast (I installed it as-is without the extra cabs).
However, I cannot activate my Wifi connection. The Wifi connection is grayed out in the Connections Manager. Any idea why?

Yes it did, I'm not sure why it's deactivated now. I'll try to reflash later, for now I can do without wifi, I just wanted to mention the issue.

Wow! Thanks for this rom! Bought a used, very cheap Diamond just to play with beside my Desire (cause i missed WinMo just a little)
Tried 5 different roms last two days and all were way too buggy, though some of them had some cool features, I admit...
EVERYTHING seems to work in this rom! Fast, clean and very stable. No freezes in one day´s heavy use. It´s just like using the original Winmo 6.1 Touch diamond2.
Too bad there´s no donate-button

edit: everything was going smoth until I clicked start button and realized it was a programs tab lookalike. if it wasnt for that the rom was perfect. put in a decent wm start menu and you have yourself a winner ROM.

Just one question: is there any way that start menu open all programs instead of the programs shortcuts (+) ?
Hi, this is my first post on this forum, just to tell you how gratefull I am for your excellent rom!
The rom still runs great, but wifi connection on youtube and opera goes up and down. Renew IP-adress seems to help sometimes. But this problem I have had with almost all HTC Winmo devices
Also, the Laser taskbar didn't "open" sometimes + caused the home screen flip clock to stop - but a reinstall helped

I just bought a HTC Diamond, and I tried a bunch of different roms, ranging from Android to Windows Mobile. I have to say that this is the best one of them all! It's extremely fast for me, and everything works without any problems. Great work!
The only thing I'm concerned about is that the task manager closes all of my applications automatically.
I launched the FM Radio, put that in "exclusive" apps in the task manager, and tried to launch Opera Mini after that, and the FM Radio closed instantly. So I can only run one application at a time.
What should I do to be able to run FM Radio, nanoGroove and Opera Mini in the background? Please help!

I have no answer, I've tried and yes radio is shutting down. Listen to your music instead of radio, it's working or maybe with a smaller page pool.
If some1 have a clue he's welcome...
==>ANSWER: it is a memory issue. I switched off Sense and tried again and then it's working.==> So, do that trick or try to set a smaller page pool before reinstalling. (Be conscious it will slow down your mobile.)
