Can you get the laptop dock at Costco? - Atrix 4G Accessories

I know Costco has the phone for $119. What about the docks and other accessories? Particularly the laptop dock.

Nope, they don't carry any accessories. I asked. The upside is they give you a USB charger and one of those fake leather belt pouches nobody ever uses for free.
I did notice though that there didn't seem to be an additional ETF over the AT&T $325 in the contract. Did I miss something?

i don't think you missed anything. Your contract is with AT&T and the resellers get about $500 per "new" customer (resigning is new too). Just like buying your phone at BestBuy - the ETF is with AT&T.

Don't Wirefly and other resellers make you keep your current plan for 6 months, and then charge an extra ETF if you do? Not that I'm considering changing, I've had more or less the same plan for the last 4 years.

Bestbuy has the laptop dock listed for 399, but out of stock.

I work for Best Buy, and when I looked in the system it said my store had 1 laptop dock in stock. None of the other accessories are in yet though.

Well, I didn't realize that Costco would sell the phones so cheaply. $119 for the first phone, $149 for each additional. I paid $199 each for my two Atrix phones direct from AT&T. Bummer. I could have saved $80.

Ya I just saw that they were $119 online, was just in-store and they're still $149... I do wonder if they make you change your data plans tho... Does anyone know if they do?? I have an older plan that's unlimited internet and 1500 text messages for $30 and if I have to change that to get the phone I don't wanna do it...

They are 149 minus 30 dollars at costco until the the 9th of march. No, they don't make you change your data plan. I have the same 30 dollar unlimited.

I received mines from costco as well. Quick question though, whats their exchange policy? I realized taht the fingerprint reader on my atrix is slanted and it is very noticeable. Mine also gets very hot after some surfing and watching youtube videos.

Online, it asks me to choose a data plan.

In stores for the costco deal

Damnit, that's the answer I was hoping for/not hoping for!!!LOL Did you buy instore or online?
I really wanna get the phone and it's a great price but I'm still a little hesitant, I was hoping for a bad answer so I wouldn't be tempted...lol Omg I think I might have to break down and get it... Good thing Costco doesn't have any of the accessories for good prices or I'd be screwed...lmao

AT&T return is 30 days. Costco return policy is 90 days. If your phone is defective it should be covered under the 1 yr manufacture warranty.

50% Coupon at T-Mobile

T-Mobile has a coupon on their Facebook page for 50% off any accessories in the store http://www.facebook.com/tmobile I think I may buy the 1650 mah battery for $25.00 with the coupon. Thanks me!
Coupon
Aren't they out of the 1650mah batteries right now? Couldn't find them on the website. Also, is it confirmed that the 1650mah fits perfectly into the Vibrant? Skip that. I can probably find an answer with a search
Why can i never find anything good when there is a sale on...
The 1650 does fit just fine into the Vibrant. I'm using one now
I love how t-mo sells car chargers for $30+ and cases for 20+ when on amazon you can get them for a dollar... *not to say I would trust these at $1 but still.
Thanks for the coupon I will check it out.
too bad they don't consider phones an accessory like I do.

Serious? I have been with them since day one (my old local provider was bought up by them) and they don't do squat for me. I found out last year that I had not used an upgrade credit in 131 months and I can't even get them to waive the $200 fee for taking my wife's bastard nephew off of my family plan...

they usually wont help me out. i was looking for a powerskin case (i dont keep my phone in my pocket, like... ever.. so the issues people complain about shouldnt be a problem for me) and asked one of the local store reps why they are dickheads now about upgrades on family plans... and he hooked it up with a workaround.
scenario: my grandma is my second line. she has a dumbphone and doesnt text/data. i want to use her line to get whatever SGS2 variant comes out in august, but if i do that, i have to add data on her line, even though she wont be using the phone.
i asked the guy wtf is up with that, how it's not fair because i'm still paying the data on my line and they're getting a 2 year agreement on that line.
the loophole:
i upgrade her line to get the phone, add the data plan.
i then buy a dumbphone at full price (one of those refurbished POS phones for <$40 on her line and remove the data plan.
i bought the mhl cable with the coupon for 10.81 and tried it with my evo 3d and it did not work. Is there something i need to turn on in settings on my htc evo 3d?
my TV wasnt finding a signal in the hdmi 3 port that my phone was plugged into
I ordered "Samsung" branded items from Amazon, the low end bluetooth earbud is attrocious. The wallwart with data cable would not charge the phone. The car charger worked fine. The earbud and wallwart/cable look to have been sold a few times previously. For the hassle I'm out the shipping and could only get a refund on one of them. I've now been waiting a week on replacements. I would not pay t-mobiles prices but I will shop local for any other accessories.

Where to buy the SGSII in store besides T-mobile?

Anyone see the Tmobile SGSII available at Walmart or Target yet? I see them on the Target mobile website, but they don't have nearly as consumer-friendly policies when it comes to refunds and exchanges as the stores....
I tried a local Target last week and they carried no T-mobile devices -- only refill cards?!
My local Walmart in North Carolina has them. But their also on the Walmart website also.

The T-Mobile store was unwilling to match their prices. But I didn't want to wait a number of days before my device arrived.

OK, I was just wondering because I just ported my number over from Sprint. I'm not sure what would happen if I returned my T-Mobile purchased phones (already ported to my old Sprint #s) and went to Target or Amazon to buy new phones on a new contract, etc. Saving $60+ sounds good, but loosing both of my numbers does not.

Take it in a dark room with no light and look at a dark gray wallpaper or a picture taken with the camera of the dark room, you'll see them. ALL of these phones have them. It's just harder to see in a bright room.
I went by Target tonight and they had no decent T-Mobile phones. Maybe Super Target does.
Sam's Club just setup their T-Mobile phones this week. They are offering the TMO SGS2 for $188 on a 2 year contract. There is no restocking fee, no activation fee, and a 30 day return period. I didn't get to ask about plans in the store though.
Checking on samsclub.com, they offer the phones for $179 each, but they don't appear to offer any of the Value plans. Thus the Classic Family 1000 2GB Plan is $120 a month for 24 months (total post-purchase cost for 2 phones $2880) compared to the Value Family 1000 2GB Plan in the T-Mobile store for only $80 a month for 24 months plus $15 per month per phone for 20 months (total post-purchase cost for 2 phones $1920 + 600 = $2520). As far as I know, the plans provide identical service and limits.
So you can save $50 on each phone at samsclub.com ($229 up front in T-Mobile store with Value Plan), but you end up paying more over the life of the contract ($180 per phone more for the first two phones).
Are the Value plans only offered at T-Mobile stores? If so, why would anyone buy their phone elsewhere?

OK I really want the Nexus but I'm not due for an upgrade. You're all smart, help!

Like the title says, I'm not due for an upgrade until next December but I'd really like to dump my current phone for a Nexus... it's just dog-slow, has no support from any Dev communities nor support from Samsung themselves...
With that said I'm wondering if anyone has found a way around having to pay the full $800 to get a new Nexus device. I went in to Best Buy today to see if I could extend my contract by another 2 years but he said the best I could do is to start a Family Plan, move my number to that and add a new line so I'd be paying $130 a month. I don't think so.
It's important that I keep my current plan too since I have unlimited data.
If anyone knows any little life-hacks to getting a new Nexus at $300 or less, let me know!
Oh, I'm on Verizon. So, LTE please!
What phone do you have right now?

U could always add a line. Get a hold of an old verizon flip phone that doesn't require data and put the new line on that. This way you always get revolving upgrades too

Getting an extra is not a bad plan, but the cost adds up eventually. And correct me if I'm wrong, but verizon is not doing the traditional new every two years updates anymore. I think your best plan is to wait until the year and a half marker (I know I get some discount at that point) or buy a phone full retail.

Retail is $650, not $800.
Frankly dude, take it from someone that HATES contracts and doesn't do them, just save up some cash.
What's the ETF on your current device now? Sounds like it might be cheaper to pay the ETF on your current line, and sign a contract for a new line and get the phone for $299.
The problem with getting another line is I'm currently on an individual plan paying about $80 a month.
Moving to a plan that I could add a line would put me at $130 a month... definitely not worth it when I'm already ready to fork over $300 for a phone.
I'm thinking best bet is getting lucky on eBay or Craigslist

Verizon's site says "You may terminate service for any reason within 14 days of activation. If you purchased a wireless device at a promotional price at the time of activation, you must return it within the device return period to avoid being assessed an Early Termination Fee of $175, or $350 if you purchased an Advanced Device" so I'm assuming $350 to terminate.
Not only that but by making a new contract I'd lose my unlimited data, and I use a TON of data.

LOL like the other person said, you better go back and read the fine print. That $250 is a seperate Amazon fee in addition to Verizon's ETF. Basically you just screwed yourself $350 Verizon Fee + $250 Amazon Fee = $600.

you would just pay the 200 dollar migration fee from classic to value, as far as I can tell, costco nor bestbuy charge any etf other than the carriers etf. you still need to pay activation but you pay that pretty much everywhere except costco. as for the one month on the classic plan, thats a possibility, but still thats a 20 dollar difference for one month so still a decent deal.
Dang my main line with data isn't due for an upgrade until the 10th, two days after this promotion ends. I wonder if I could use one of my non-data lines to get this without adding Data to that line.

I have a grandfathered 200MB plan. The order went through, but I'm keeping my fingers that I don't get an email back about there being a problem with my order.

My order shipped today! The upgrade went through and I'm getting this phone for a measly $270 with tax, shipping, and upgrade fee included while only paying $10 a month for 200MB of data (and $10 for my voice line and $5 for 400 text messages) as far as I understand. I logged in to my T-Mobile account and it doesn't look like any of my plans changed which is what I wanted. Thank you so much for the heads up on this deal!
Grrat deal

Same exact experience for me. I returned my Note 2 on Sunday after seeing this offer. I just got the email telling me it shipped. This is MUCH better than going the Value Plan route. With the value Plan you pay the $200 down and you pay $20 for the next 2 years. You will never see the savings in the value Plan because you will be paying for the phone each month, which will bring the bill to the same (or more) as a classic. I went over this option with THREE T-Mobile reps (the knowledgeable ones, not the ones from the Philippines) and they ALL said the same thing tome: It doesn't pay to switch to a Value Plan when the costs of the phone payments will put me at or above my current Classic Plan amount. #WINNING

the reps are brain dead, you will pay less because 4 months of the contract you are not paying the extra amount, and with this price, you will pay much less by converting to value plan, taking the 200 dollar hit and being done with it.

I implore you to be patient. The phone is worth the wait. I'm loving it so far and I've barely tapped into it's potential!

Costco $0 down EIP

Just walked out of Costco in TX paying nothing for the black S6 edge. No taxes no deposit. Got a free $25 cash card and a vehicle mount and charger. Also note T-Mobile was asking for half upfront

Which version of the edge did you get? (storage wise and color) and also, what are your eip payments looking like? Thanks!

I got the black 32GB. Wanted the gold but from what I've been seeing it's rare like diamonds. My EIP is about $32 and change.

So if they let you do upgrades without taking your other phone in that you have a eip balance on? Wow
Dang, wish I had a Costco near me. I ended up paying the taxes, which was 56 dollars. Mines 32 a month.

Expensive, lol!
I am under a family plan of 5, so I'm total its a hair over 260, but that's unlimited minutes and texts and 2.5g on each phone. Also 4 out of the 5 phones are on the jump program.

Any T-Mobile will let you do this. It's like a credit card, you get X amount that you can finance with no interest and financing charges, but you are signing that you will pay the phone off.

Well I had paid off my N5 . it had a cracked screen and no way was I going to spend $150 on that insurance claim deductible when I owed less. So I had no previous balance

So I just have to pay of the remaining balance to be JUMP qualify and go to Costco and upgrade and get to keep the old phone?

Yup. Technically its not even jump... Its just an upgrade.. They consider JUMP when you trade a phone in. Its either pay half of your phone off with the $10 a month add on and trade your phone in... Or just pay the phone off and upgrade. Either way works
I just called my local Costco and was told I would have to pay tax. I'm jump eligible.

Yeah it depends on certain states. I'm in Texas so they go off the 0 down price. No tax to pay on $0.
