Installation
WIPE OF EVERYTHING
1: Wipe of everything including ext-partion if used.
2: Flash the rom
3: Run the installation.
4: When the wizard is complete and you have got into the rom,
1: Go to menu / settings / programs tick unknown sources,
a must to get ext partitions to work and adb
5: Now it is clear Just reboot.

Now is the rom updated,almost everything is updated all the apps etc..
No wipe needed if you come from version RC1,only wipe of dalvik cache.
Build a new updater-script
Kernel is changed to my own,built on erasmux flykernel12-pre1.
Default frequency is 352 / 576 MHz, use setcpu to speed up the range is 176/749 MHz
Calculator is from Sence 2.2
Lots of new features, including sms from lock screen
Changed out some of the wallpapers in ELWallpaper,feltraveller stands for the artworks,Thanks

I flashed your floyo 1.9 (i think) earlier today.. loved it, but the battery life sucked so i just flashed back to Froyd 1.5 (right now as i write this it finished booting) now this is so tempting to download, battery issues aside i loved the ROM and it was so damn fast!!!
I will see what comments it gets and decide
Good work on 1.9 though! (just fix battery life)

This is defo the dog's dangly bits! Completely painless - removed ADW, wiped dalvik, flashed ROM, replaced LauncherPro with ADW, rebooted.... and everything just worked. It feels just as responsive as v1.9 in the brief time I've had to use it - will give it a proper shakedown once I've had some sleep. Oh yeah, and the SE theme is pretty cool too.

Themes - Bootscreens
I loved Elelinux from the very first release.
But I like the stock theme and the old bootscreen.
Is there any possibility to add these options?

I replaced FroydVillain 1.5.0 with this rom and it runs definitely faster than Villain - great job!
One thing: as with almost every current froyo-image, there's no camera snap sound in this rom - can I somehow re-activate the sound when taking a picture? (camera_click.ogg is where it should be on the filesystem but isn't played when shooting)

This version is based on 1.9?
I've to perform a full wipe from the 1.9?

Im running 1. 9 with fly kernel 10a bfs. 90% battery left now. Last unplug was almost 12hrs. Few calls n text msgs. About 30 minutes data on web surfing.
You should try recalibrate your battery.
Anyway. Downloading special edition now. Hope its battery life as good as 1. 9.

Install for Clockwork
- Download MAGLDR 1.13
- Download and install the FIXED 400mb version of Clockwork recovery made for this version (Must use this one!!) Thanks to Talderon
- Boot into recovery and do a full wipe
- Flash the ROM
- On first boot, log into all of your accounts
- Will be laggy for a little bit while everything is syncing
- Reboot after about 30 minutes from first boot
- Enjoy!

Fixes & tips
- To get 7 homescreens, go into settings then personalize and click 7 home screen pages
- If you get robo voice on first call, hang up and next call from then on should be fine. If phone acts weird on first call just reboot and you shouldn't see it anymore.

All you gotta do is slap the rom zip on your sd card and install clockworkmod recovery, I promise its really easy! Once you use clockworkmod recovery you wont want to go back to daf much more efficient and you can do backups. If you need any help installing just send me a PM and I'll hook you up!

Yeah I really like the MT4G software but I've never used the phone for more than a few minutes. Glad to know you like the HD2 better Now you can have both.

i still like using dft, always a fresh start anyway when flashing, can u make a dft file. please

Some of us prefer to do specific partitioning per ROM so no space available to data is wasted in a 400mb system partition when you only may have actually needed 291.8mb (this rom) but your choices were 250mb or 400mb.
For those interested in partitioning based on actual rom SIZE and still making the rom clockworks compatible so you can do a backup (and from there do restores etc)....paste the following into your flash.cfg file prior to flashing:
boot ya|boot|ro filesize+2M boot.img
system ya filesize+2M system.img
misc ya 1M
recovery ya|ro 3M
cache ya 3M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

What!? Which version did you guys use and can you explain more? Do you have your SD partitioned etc..?

Tried clockworks version...failed!
Can't grasp how to do this after clockworks is flashed and SD is partitioned.
After doing a FULL wipe...
How do I flash the ROM?
If someone can please PM with the step by step instructions on how to flash the ROM to the SD, then I should be ok.
I ended up flashing the build via DAF version in the meantime.

This is a ICS 4.0.3 AOSP Galaxy Nexus Rom completely built from source. The kernel is also built from source and it packaged in with the ROM. I try to keep everything as close to pure AOSP that I can. I added a few features that I wanted and prefer. This ROM is made for Speed and Stability. For those who have tried this ROM how are things running so far. Its nice to have a more clean ROM, that yes I can add some tweaks to but speed and stability is my real goal.
Can we use SetCPU, are there any paticular mods that do not work with this ROM? I was looking to add a battery meter, and the added buttons for search and menu soft keys and maybe the blue soft keys option.
Beyond those three I would be pretty stock. I just wanted to check first.

Yes you can, its built in to the kernel. Try it and leave feed back. Version 3 just released.

That is normal, check the gapps for most other roms and the size of them should be close. ROMs with gapps included will have a size around 190mb or so...

how do you get the search icon to show up in the menu? I cant for the life of me find it...

Flashed the rom a few days ago and I like it so far but I have a question. I flashed some soft keys that I guess took away the search button but now the three remaining buttons seem too close and not uniform is there a way I can change it or somehow move them?

That could be a thing with soft keys you flashed, ask the dev what space alignment he used.. there is roms out there that will change that, not this one tho. Hope that helped!

I used the google version of battery which is blue and google's icons for 3g etc. that comes inside the phone's SystemUI.apk and is then shipped to samsung and samsung then makes a different file and uses green battery icons and their little symbols for 3g etc for touchwiz looks or theme...
so I pulled from the google file and renamed the files accordingly to replace the samsung files.. basically just brought back the google icons that google made for our device.
so its a little less touch wiz and just a little but more original android from google.

I will flash when I get home tonight! Looks like a great and stable build! Will report back later this evening!

Yea, the data icons seem to be far from the signal...almost towards thw center of the status bar. Same with the WiFi icon, a bit far from the rest. The clock itself also seems a bit spaced, causing the entire status bar to seem cluttered. Just my opinion though. This ROM is great however, fast, very stable. Thanks.

I used 2.6.3.1 and it flashed fine for me, but I did a proper Infamous wipe prior to flashing.

Before going from 4.2.2 or up, I usually flash twrp 2.5.0.0 to flash 4.1.2 roms . Only takes a minute and never have issues. That's a solid twrp version and was pretty much made with 4.1.2 in mind... At that time.
I keep 2.5.0.0 and 2.6.1.0 on my laptop so I can switch back and forth with Odin.

Gonna flash this tonight if I have time. On stock at the moment.... But usually can't resist Rushings excellent work.
As far as the icon spacing go.... I usually set system ui to 200 or less dpi with Xposed.

I haven't been on a stock ROM since I first flashed the first custom ROM onto this phone. Your work sounds amazing, and defiantly worth giving it a go. Perhaps stock can be good :good::laugh:

the twrp 2.5.0.0 was a good idea so i gave it a shot but didnt get me past the shadow screen either. Funny I used odin to flash 2.6.3 and it didnt like that all together. Goo manager wont down load 2.6.3.1 to my phone. Maybe my phone is crap from to much flashing....lol but i have been loyal to rushing roms

Rushing's other 4.1.2 TouchWiz-based ROMs which include a recovery as part of the flashing process tend to use TWRP 2.6.0.0 so I'd recommend using that version for the best results. (unless you are planning to flash 4.3+ ROMs then 2.6.0.0 is a reliable choice anyhow)

Yeah your right that's what I started off with. Not sure the problem first time its happened to me. No worried the. Iced crystal is what I'm on and I'm not sad about being stuck with it....lol

2.6.1.0 boot looped for my. It would begin to load, then suddenly freeze and reboot. furthest I got was the boot screen being 99% done.
