Couple Questions about the keyboard - Xoom Accessories

I've heard good things about the moto keyboard, but before i fork out 80$ on it I had a couple Questions.
1. Has anyone tried to use the keyboard as an input devices for emulators and other games?
2. Anyone have a coupon code or know of a sale on them from anywhere?

anyone? lol

I have the keyboard, however I haven't tried it on an emulator. As for deals, I got mine from amazon on the 27th. They were selling them for $63. Last time I checked they didn't have anymore in stock.
The keyboard is fantastic though. Very thin and compact and great for composing large emails, etc. Navigating the home screen is a bit cluncky and I haven't figured out a way to access the app drawer. My work around is just to search for the app you want.
Its also nice using it with HDMI out to your TV or monitor.
I would suggest picking it up.

Thanks Daddy.
If you try it out on an Emu let me know your results.

$80? You could get it from Amazon directly for $62.99 (free shipping).

Anyone know of a keyboard with a touchpad that would work?

Spiderpodium

Hey guys, just ordered me a Spiderpodium.
Didn't see anything else about it here on the forum so I thought I'd give you a heads up. Company are UK based, which means paying postage for you American and continental types.
I really want a PadPivot but as they are not shipping right now and have taken quite a lot of pre-orders I thought this little guy could be my stand in until they are taking orders again.
I ordered a black one as I'm thinking (rightly or wrongly) that the graphite one may get a bit grubby if I'm handling it all the time.
Sweet but pricey. Reminds me of the gorillapod that you can get for digital cameras Good find though!
creepy, it really does look like a spider..
It's actually available in the USA from amazon and qualifies for free shipping!
I picked up a photo stand from Walmart for $1 to hold my Xoom... it works in landscape or portrait!

[Q] Samsung Vibrant Armband

Anyone know of a good armband... thats not too expensive? I saw some on ebay for like $10 but they are all shipping from hongkong and i need it here fast since in going out of the country soon (three weeks) and i dnt wanna risk it dont get here before i leave...
If you like the one for $10 go for it, shipping this day and age doesn't take too long. I ordered a extended battery for my vibrant from HK and it came in 10 days. You can email the seller and ask him/her how long it should take because it depends on how long it takes him/her to email it.
The one from Arkon looks decent, and they're here in the US. www.arkon.com

Free market, invisible hand, etc.
Terrible position we're in but them's the breaks.
Been looking for something to buy for my Vibrant... picked up an extended battery + covering earlier with some eBay bucks that were about to expire; think I'll look into an armband now too. I love the idea but the thought of things slipping scares the bejeezus out of me, haha.
hopefully T-Mobile have this, tired of holding my phone while running.

I use the spibelt for this. In fact I have for every cell phone I've owned. You'll have to add a dot com to this as I'm too new to post link or just search for it on your fav. search page.
The Galaxy Armband
I have been looking for an armband also. Has anyone heard of or tried the Galaxy Armband? They're a company in MN. I like what I see, but didn't see any reviews about it or enough product info.

do you guys think that the iPhone 3g armband would fit our phones?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Might try that out
it might fit but the screen portion might not be all visible since the screen is a bit bigger in our vibrants...

Kilpsch Image S4a

For those who've been looking for a pair of great of IEMs with android compatable inline controls, the S4a's are out. Happened to come across them at Futureshop today so it was a pleasant surprise, although I'm still iffy about the 120CAD I put towards them. Once they have about 100+ hours of burn in I'll decide if I'll keep 'em for a few reasons.
The box includes the usual multiple sized tips and the earbuds themselves, but they also come with a clip to use to attach the mic/control onto clothing and a nice sized carrying case.
According to Kilpsch themselves, they have incredible functionality with their customized app, which I'll be looking into it over the next few weeks.
Anyone else been interested in these?

Sure.
Just from toying around with them thus far I've come across a couple things that irritate me personally to do with the controls, but I might be able to find workarounds for these little hassles.
Hey guys also there is a klipsch app for these headphones so you can customize the button function

I got them from Futureshop up here in Canada for 120CAD.
Quick first impression:
I expected that you could only customize the three functions (single, double, and triple click) and speed of clicking. That's certainly the case. Their volume control is non-customizable and very finicky, and the speed to control the button timing isn't all too great either. Otherwise it does what it says it does, just not every function at once of course.
I won't go into their sound as there are hundreds of reviews of the S4's sound online, and the only difference with these to the usual S4 is the addition of a button.
the app works for me too no problems
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Old thread by now, but I'm thinking of picking these up for my S2.
I'm sure the sound and stuff is great from the sound of other online reviews, but what I'm worried about is the durability of the cord.
How has your cords been?
And if you could, give a little description of how you've been using them.
Thanks

Has anyone tried this keyboard case before? It has a touchpad. It looks promising. I'm looking for some feedback from someone who have tried it before.

Swiftkey Tablet Keyboard

They have their tablet version on sale for $2 ( normally $4)
I personally use it and love it, and the tablet version works great on our GNote2. The new flow feature, like swype, is great to use with the stylus, using it to type this out right now.
Just giving everyone a heads up.

i got SwiftKey when Google was offering a bunch of apps everyday for 10 cents... best purchase ever lol....
they now have swipe in the new update... def the best keyboard out there IMO...

What's the advantage of the tablet version compared to the mobile one? Is the tablet one suits our Note2 better?

I believe it has the split keyboard, where it makes it a litter easier to hit the keys in the middle of the keyboard. Other than that it should more or less the same
