[ended] Too funny not to post: Belt clip for Motorola Xoom - Xoom Accessories

Whilst browsing eBay for Xoom accessories I stumbled upon the funniest things... One of them is a http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Leather-...912105?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4cf5c60de9
Other oddities were items that are compatible with the "Apple Motorola Xoom" and, of course, the "USB charger" varieties... Bottom line - please don't be fooled when buying accessories for the Xoom; most sellers do not know anything about the device and just substitute (more or less thoroughly) one device name for another. I know, this all has been mentioned before but I wanted to point this out to all the noobs around here.

Bwahaha... Just having imagined a device like the Xoom hanging around your waist hitting you on your knees made me laugh. I'd rather go about with a fanny bag, all purple and with flowers on it.

What the, this seller is one of examples I don't like seeing or dealing with on ebay, whether innocent or not. =P

Hahaha! But really would rather have a holster... ha! :b

I think it was a funny yet honest mistake, I make my money on Ebay, so I'll be the first to admit that listing mistakes happen. He took it down. Hopefully no one bought one.
Now... for some shameless advertising and self promotion. CHECK OUT MY STORE!!!!

I bought the portfolio case from amazon but it hasn't shipped yet. Would they let me cancel it?

Well this just sucks. I was hoping for an actual belt clip for my xoom. Yes it would be impractical, but damn would it hilarious to walk around with.

OOO
I have the clingo in hand.
My phone fell off 3 times already and that was on the way to work in the AM. Not happy at all. And the Evo in case is too heavy for it...it droops...
60 bones! What does it come with? It doesn't even plug in when cradleing the phone. If I'm going to pay that much I'd at least like it to be dock like, not a suction cup wih arms!
Sent from my AVAEVO using XDA App
For $60 bucks it better suck my.... Yeah anyway it better have a USB port in the unit.
I have to wait until Seidio's is available, since it will be designed to work with my extended battery. Still, that one does look nice if your stock. But $60? Seidio's isn't even that expensive.
They even have pics up, and its a real dock. http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/ck17hev4c04.htm
I think the Seidio will beat this one hands down. It has a telescoping, adjustable swivel with locking screw, its a charger dock and it will fit with innocase, innocase II and extended batteries.
Tried to order and they said the SKU is valid, but there are NONE available and havent been yet....
so I highly doubt anyone is getting this monday.
Maybe next time.

not bad i guess but im keeping my soundgate for 5 bucks thanks to a member here that posted about it.
the soundgate i think is the best because in my truck the phone would be too far out of reach with the suction cup. i would literally have to lean up against my steering wheel to reach it. i like to lounge when im driving and watch a movie
So, did ya get it in today?

Need a good Case? Captivate Hybrid Tough Case... Interested?

OK, there have been a few different post asking about available hard cases for this phone and there seems to be very few if any that are worth having. I have been looking around at different companies trying to get some hope and came across a company out of Tucker, Ga called Case-mate. They make many different styles of cases for many different phones, even one for the Vibrant. So what I have done is posted on their feedback and product forum requesting support for the Captivate. Please if you are interested a hard case for the captivate and like what you see on their site BE PROACTIVE! Post on their site and ask for what you want, tell them what you would be interested in. Don't just leave it up to these companies to brush aside the Captivate because of lack of interest. The squeaky wheel gets the oil!
Here is the link to Case-mate's main page:
http://www.case-mate.com/
Here is a link to the already running post about trying to get a Captivate case made:
http://feedback.case-mate.com/forums/26011-product/suggestions/997283-at-t-captivate-samsung-galaxy-s?ref=title
For reference here is the case that they made for the Galaxy S/ Vibrant:
http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-S-T-Mobile-Vibrant-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-S-T-Mobile-Vibrant-Tough-Cases.asp
PS: I actually leave fairly close to where they are based so if need be I would be more than willing to drop by and check it out!

If it's a quality case I wouldn't mine it at all. I'd rather spend $30 on a case that I will be happy with and will last for a long time than spend $10 on a crappy case that doesn't fit right and doesn't last a month.
I'd really like to see Incase make a case for the Captivate. Their iPhone cases are awesome.

Complain about paying $30 for case but when you drop your phone that one time and the screen cracks it would be a lot cheaper than paying for a new phone. Some people just don't understand that quality does always come cheap, hell an Otterbox for the iPhone 4 is $50 and I would plunk that cash down in a heartbeat for a quality case.

Extended battery skins (For clip) or case

Hey guys,
I know a lot of you are looking for this.
I have found a site which has these in stock and is selling. I bought two.
http://www.mrcellphoneunlocker.com/V2/products.php?product=TB_EX
Pretty cheap if you ask me.
They all look pretty poorly cut... maybe if they done better it would be worth it, but looking at all the jagged cuts on those skins... it would be cheaper to just buy one of ebay for less and poorly cut the thing myself.

Those look terrible. I cut mine and it doesn't look that bad.

LMAO this is some sort of joke right? What moron would pay $13 for that?
I had done my own cut back 15 days ago, photos are outdated but you get the idea. In addition, I had ran a lighter around the freshly cut edges to smooth out the lines. It's better looking in person, that's for sure.

So far, Ive had mine from his pre-release ones. and its holding up quite well.
They can be seen on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320689127257&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Those are the ruff cut pics. I dont think hes had time to update pics because hes had some family and whatnot. But, for the price. $13 vs 25.
I'm also selling them for $10 shipped.
-Mobile on my Bolt sportin' some goodies-
I'm actually waiting for this:
http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/5448.htm
Seidio is going to have their active case for the ThunderBolt which will cover the battery more than likely because they just released pictures of their SURFACE case and it covers the battery. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Official Google Bumpers

Hey guys, have you noticed, Google is a bit lazy this year. I still haven't seen sign of official bumpers on the play store and my phone won't last more enough without a case. Anyone knows when will they be released? I mean come on, it's been two weeks Google. Hurry.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah, they were supposed to release the official charger according to several sites as well. I wonder what the deal is!
I'm in the same dilemma too . I'm tempted to buy another case , since i'm scared i might drop my phone, Hope it comes out soon.
Google wants people to break their Nexus 5 so they will buy another Nexus 5
I'm really getting sick and tired of the supply problems with Google... Every single device that they release has supply issues and accessories are even worse. How hard can it be to make more devices for launch and have the official accessories ready to purchase at launch?!
They hype their products and "leak" details to get people interested and then don't produce. It's very frustrating. Anybody should be able to buy a nexus 5 or any accessories at launch and have it ship the next day.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
For $35, there are better cases to spend your money on.
They released it for a few minutes on N5's release day, a few people bought and got them, they haven't put it up since then
The official Google bumpers are terrible. They're bulky and they feel cheap. Not to mention they're not truly bumpers since they cover the back. I really don't recommend them.
I would not be surprised if they are working on a real bumper to replace the one they have now.....something like the N4 bumper would be nice
I liked my friends a lot so I ordered one of eBay a few days back will post a mini review once it arrives in the next few days

I just got mine from eBay and actually really like it. Fits awesome and feels really nice. It had kind of a weird back slope on the side of the case but it's still feels good in hand. Is it worth $35? Certainly not, but if you don't mind paying a little extra I think it's nice.

FastTech selling TPU cases for $1.75

Not sure if anyone knows about this site. It's like going to ChinaTown of your local major city and buying goods from their market. It's rebranded, backdoor manufacturing, knockoff, products that didn't meet the tolerances, type of things. I saw some GNex phones on there a week ago or so. There is a ton of stuff that is legit on there, but at super huge discounts to what you pay anywhere else.
Here's another forum I'm on and what they have to say about the site. Most of the problems come from looooong shipping times. You have about 10 different shipping options. Can take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks. 8 and it got lost in customs or stolen off the truck. But they will ship you another or refund you if that happens. Most of the problems we have with ecigs are batteries. Most of the time they get taken in customs before even leaving China. When that happens, FT gives you two choices, refund or attempt again.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...30819-fasttech-thread-all-fasttech-posts.html
I don't see any problems with customs and an unbranded TPU case. I don't mind waiting a couple weeks for it to come in the mail. So I picked up 3 of these. One in black, white and blue.
