TBolt Accessories - Thunderbolt Accessories

Where is the best/cheapest place to buy accessories?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App

probably eBay. As for selection, thats another story. I have been looking for a solid case (just canceled the Case-Mate Pop Case) based on complaints from people who got it already. It seems you can't push the power button down with one hand to turn it on. Someone didn't put enough rubber in the mold.

Armstrap case that fits Vibrant?

Anyone come across an armstrap case that will fit the Vibrant?
I'm also in the market for one. Check out the galaxy s accessories forums. There's a more discussed thread in there.

I quicked picked up one of these at a local big box store for $17 (us). None of the Tmo stores had cases and I was headed for a dirty campsite. I needed something

After a couple of in&outs it fits really well. The volume rocker actually sits one-button height higher, but the translation isn't too tough. I haven't had any trouble with it falling apart yet, but that's what people are complaining about with these things. I can't imagine the snug fit would help with that.
Ten bucks at kmart. Its from ballys

T-Mobile retail stores sell a myTouch Slide armband case which works pretty well for the Vibrant. You can even use the screen through the plastic!
The case also comes with a slide pocket for ID/Cards and a small pouch for a key, pretty nice case all around. $20 from what I recall.

Platinum Series - Case for HTC Thunderbolt

I just picked this up at my local bestbuy. It is the same thing as the Seidio Innocase, just cheaper. I had one of these for my Droid X and loved it. On my X, I also ordered the Seidio Rugged add-on case, and the two worked perfectly together. I think that I am going to do the same thing again. Here is the link http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Platinu...uId=1974606&st=htc thunderbolt case&cp=1&lp=1
One more thing, when I bought the phone I picked up the Double cover from VZW, and it fits perfectly into the holster that I got with the platinum case....
I have the platinum case as well, trying to figure out how to mod it to fit my extended battery.

Maybe I'm missing something but the link says $34.99. I paid $29.99 for my Seidio Innocase.

Yes, the one from BB is case and holder. The 29.99 for the Innocase is the case only.
This is identical to the Seido case and holster combo except it is alot cheaper. The case and holster is made by Seido and just branded for Best Buy. Just picked it up.
+1 Just picked this up @ Best Buy for 34.99
It is that nice black matte rubberized coating I love... Batman would approve.
So is this a durable case? Never used those cases before. Might consider this one.
The problem with that is you have to dremel through the lock tab that holds the 2 pieces together.

thanks for the info on this case going to get one now
I have this case. Its good, but the headphone jack opening could be a little larger.
Thanks to the OP for finding this. Don't know why Seidio doesn't put their name on it, but it's a great case. Nice finish, and a holster if that's your thing. Fantastic deal for 35 bucks plus tax.
Yeah there are a few rebrandings of that case. I also got it from BB. Works like a charm, 2 days after getting the case I was nice and drunk, dropped my phone from about 6 feet onto concrete. It landed directly on the corner and other than a little nick on the case the phone is fine.
I had to google how to get the fing thing off without breaking it though...Easy enough once I did.

How do you get it off? (Link etc.) That little manual that comes with is as useless as tits on a bull, can't read a damned thing. It's like the size of a postage stamp.
I got mine to replace my high gloss silicon case. I love it! Feels nice and durable, and the holster is nice.
To get it off what I do is:
1. Flip the phone over
2. squeeze the sides of the top part of the case, so that it bends in the middle (it's very slight but it gives just enough space to undo the lock)
3. Hold the bottom part of the case and push the seido branding sign down to unlock it and pull the top off.
It's definitely a little frustrating at first trying to get it off but once you get the hang of it, it comes off pretty easily. I've become an expert taking it off due to testing kernels and having to do a battery pull to get back to recovery lmao.
Geez, that was easy once you pointed it out. Good thing as I was planning on going to the music store to pick up a couple of guitar picks to try opening it up. I just want fast access in case the battery starts overheating.

Case + Holster

if anyone is interested i stumbled upon another case/holster combo on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gal...012608?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a6d5e7f00
if anyone has it or has tried it please post your comments...i am searching for a good case + holster combo that has the phone facing inwards (protected)...someone else wrote a bad review about this one..i may be the guinea pig and just purchase this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protector-C...230535?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4cfc3adcc7
i know that the seidio combo is coming out soon (hopefully) im trying to find an alternative so i dont have to spend $60 on that
UPDATE: my case arrived this afternoon
First, I must say...i was skeptical about the quality of the case and holster given that it was so cheap ($13) and that the previous case/holster combo, which was mentioned, was so poorly made...this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-HARD-...511168?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43ab2ab340 (a few people commented on this one and said it was really bad)...
the case and holster are both made out of hard shell rubber...the holster has a smooth felt piece that protects the phones screen when it inside...the belt clip swivels and comes out as a kick stand...i dont know how you are supposed to use the kickstand as the phone doesnt fit inside the holster with the screen facing out...so it guess they added that feature just to say they have it? because you cannot use it at all...the case fits snugly into the holster and comes out/in very easily (and yet wont every pop out on its own, which is nice)...the 1 draw back of the case is that it offers ABSOLUTELY no protection for the screen whatsoever..if you were to drop your phone screen side down it is about as well protected as not even having a case on it at all...my TPU case has a slight bump in the front which prevents the phones screen from touching the surface (table, ground etc..)...this case DOES NOT...overall though, for the quality and price of the combo my opinion is that it is quite solid
also, if anyone has an old case...there is a chance that it might fit into the holster..i have this one...http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-S-LIN...?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4ab072b78b...and it fits however it is not a 100% match so it does move around very slightly...i dont think it will pop out though...i've tried shaking it loose and it seems to stay in pretty well..
if anyone else has bought the case and knows how to utilize the kickstand properly please let me know...the workaround (which isnt very good) is to lay the phone on bottom plastic clip in widescreen mode...i guess you can use it that way if you must...
anyway....for $13 it is worth the purchase if you are looking for a cheap case/holster combo
just so theres no confusion, this is the EXACT one that i bought

The first one looks nice. I was about to buy the one in the 2nd link but another member bought it and said the fitment was horrible and looked cheap from what I remember. I started a thread about the same holster combo.

alright..thanks for the response...i just bought it as well...should get it sometime next week...i just realized there is no protection on the top or bottom? the rubber case seems to only cover the sides? should i be concerned about that?

elago g5 case - bad experience

At friday I recieved a elagio G5 case ordered from ebay for $19.90 USD with additional $5 shipping - check this item
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251158803922?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
The item was shipped fast, and when I opened the luxury box I saw my new indigo case , a microfiber for cleaning the phone and a useless screenprotector which covers only the screen but not it's bezel. When I take a second look I saw that the case has some bad finish, worse that $3 USD TPU case. And while the images in the e-bay listing are photoshoped, the most worse part is that when I hold the phone the case press the volume or power button , and my phone goes muted or incidently turned off
BTW. the seller is corect, and responded immediately. He said that he can't sent a new one to me because he can't verify that the new one wil be of better quality. Also he offered me a refund if I destroy the item.
Unfortunatelly at the moment I can't fing another indigo soft case, so I thick I can modify this one and keep it, but trust me I doesn't worth it's price.
Here is an example:

I am not familiar with the brand... but is that just a fake?
It seems all the brands have lines on them now. My old Otter boxes never did and now all do... but that crap on the side is just un called for.
Yes I know, the quality of all products is going bad, but the problem with the buttons is very annoying... I cutted the buttons back a little and now is OK. The problem is that no matter you pay 5 or 20 USD you get the same crap.

i have the blue case with the brushed metal back. i can tell you, with the case on, it lowers the signal strength for cell and wifi. plus i think it shields the nfc strength as well. quality wise, it's great...

Who's getting the i-Blason PowerGlider charger case?

I'm currently using the Mophie juice pack but for work I really need the kickstand so the i-Blason is more practical for me and the cheaper price helps.
So for now I'm using Best Buy's no hassle return policy to play around with the mophie case but im leaning towards getting the i-Blason.

I will be to compare it to my Mophie case. I honestly love the look and shape of the Mophie though. I only wish they would of notched out the power button instead of putting a cover over it. The otterbox commuter did a great job in this area.

I hope it does, I do not like the way Mophie put a lens over the button, it feels very stiff but the ir still works.

I just notice the i-Blason case has an output of 5V/500mA vs the Mophie case 5v1.5amp....I see that as a problem.
So did anyone get their case yet? I'm looking forward to some pictures and some reviews.
Just got nine in the mail only for the connection to be off and not centered so I had to send it back. Already received my replacement and it's working fine. Pictures still come out great . read a couple other threads saying that it isn't string enough to charge up while in use. I'll test it out.

Ok please trust what I say on this. GET a battery bank and a case with the kick stand. I had two I-blason and both were junk. The first only gave me 32 percent and the second a whopping 27% both test were done with a full charge and not touching phone with phone at 10%. I did a review on IT ands it's a NO GO

I just received mine and I am getting continual charging/not charging status change. Charges for half a second, disconnects for half a second, etc etc etc. Also, the flash does not work when the case is on.
Anyone else have these problems?
I'm VERY disappointed with this piece of crap case. It's bigger than the Mophie, heavier than the Mophie, has cutout issues, and the thing is slipperier than a bar of soap. The power button is hard to press and especially to hold as the plastic is too thick and the button has no raised cover to bring it up. ACK.
GAH.
PHBBBBBBTTTTPPPPTPTTTT. Wah-wah-waaaaaah.
edit:
Also it drains in about two hours.
YES...This case is a "No Go". Dont waste tou time. I Just got one of these and it will give me Two FULL charges. and is small.
http://www.amazon.com/SHARKK®-External-versions-ADAPTERS-INCLUDED/dp/B00AIEGXKE/ref=pd_sim_sbs_cps_2
Also the company just sent me what is perhaps the most rude and outright hostile reply to my return request that I have ever received from a company. And the first time I have been accused of fraud in a service ticket. Although to be fair, requesting $65 in exchange for this POS is borderline dishonesty even as a return.
