Possible LED colors? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone knows how to find out which LED colors a desire GSM is capable of showing, perhaps the hex codes for them too?
Or how i can find out?
Thanks

Install Handcent and try it out. It will show you what colors are supported. It isnt possible to get hex codes for colors because not all are supported.
Some additional colors are Blue, Pink, White and Red

Are you talking about the "highlight" when you hold on an app?
As far as I know, that can be changed by the Themes.
Try a different theme and see if you like the change.
You might have to make up your own theme if there is no theme with a "no highlight" option.
Not 100% sure though.

You need to change focused_application_background.9.png (in Launcher.apk/res/drawable) to a clear graphic. From here it is an easy metamorph. You will want to search and read about .9.pngs before doing this though.
I believe you are talking about the text under the Icons, that has the dark oval background behind the white letters, right?
If so I am not sure if there is a way to change it yet, and have yet seen anyone do it.

I am fairly certain that can be changed using the colorchange.jar java app for cyanogen roms. I use it to give my theme white letters on a black background throughout. It seems to change the oval to black also, and thus can be changed. Here is the problem, it is tied into many other colors in the OS, and so it will not be possible to just change that color.

Accent Color Collection

Hey Guys,
I love the ability to have custom accent colors on WP7.
So I wanted to ask you guys whats the registry code for your custom accent color. Maybe we could make some kind of collection for color codes
I use those at the moment:
Mint #FF01D86C
Orange #FFFF5900
Purple #FF6D24945
Electric Blue #FF3711C2
Grey #FF838284
Maybe someone also could provide the codes for the carrier/OEM specific accent colors, like HTC, Orange UK, T-Mobile etc.
For changing the colors I use schaps Advanced Config, thanks for that!
Really dig the colors! Advanced Config stopped working so I need to reinstall it, but I checked them via some hex color site and digging all of them. Can you add new colors in the new version of Advanced Config, or do you need to overwrite existing colors?
For me, not custom, but the best accent color is red!
;-) +1... red background&black tiles...

I have Version 1.4 on my LG Optimus 7 with Mango and you can add new colors. I don't know how many but I haven't reached the maximum yet
At the moment I really love the HTC color: #FF69B40F
I don't know if this is the real thing I only found it somewhere and like it

what's the hex code
Check the "KulerCream" app at the marketplace...it connects to a big database with colour combinations and it shows you the hex value for each color...I only wish advanced configuration tool to had an option for a custom background color too..I don't want to mess with registry...

How do you know this? Is there a registry explorer for the Lumia now?
I would like to know this also. Can this be done to the Lumia? I'm very boring, the bright colours are a bit much for me, would prefer a subtle grey or something.

Change navbar background colour?

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to change the colour of the Navbar background? By this, I mean the colour of the area that the soft buttons sit on.
The only thing I have been able to find is instructions on making it transparent:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409540&highlight=edit+navbar
Perhaps there is a .png that can be changed in SystemUI? Or perhaps the framework can be tweaked?
Any light that could be shed on the matter would be really appreciated
Thanks

From the link:
From the root of the SystemUI directory, open res/values/colors.xml. Find the entry for “status_bar_background” and change it’s value to whatever you want. In mine I’ve set it to “a6000000” which black but 35% translucent. The first 2 characters control the opacity on a scale from 0-255 where 0 is completely transparent and 255 is fully opaque. That value is then stated in hexadecimal format; e.g. 0=00, 255=ff.
First 2 characters are transparency last 6 characters are color.

Ah - I see. Thanks for your help, missed that.
Dont suppose you know how to change the actual picture of the navbar, not just the colour? As you can see in the below thread:

I believe that in AOKP, you can change the softkey colour, not the actual navbar (that the softkeys sit on)

In that link they give instructions to make transparent. But you could also change the color i believe just replacing the opacity and entering your desired color code hex value. Then compile.

Theme Maker Pro - Page Highlight Colour

When creating a theme using the Maker Pro website, I can't seem to change the highlight colour for pages. I've changed the colour values for both highlight options in the Maker, but it doesn't seem to affect the page highlight. I'd like to change the pink colour in the attached image.
I can change it once I've downloaded and applied the theme. Anyone else run into this? Have I missed something obvious? Is it not possible?
I had the same issue. Download the theme on you phone and then apply it. Then go to settings personalize then change accent colors. The only solution I have found.

Ah...whoops. I thought it was your phone.
Maybe i have a solution for you guys, at least for the rooted phones.
I had the same problem on my M8 with Sense 7 Software and Theme Maker Pro.
The pink color seems to appear with a black/dark theme.
I'm using Insert Coin, which has some additional black accent colors.
I made some investigations and i found out, how to change them to the color i want, the htc green from Sense 6.
Ok, if you can edit system files on your phone (root), go to \system\customize\ACC (path/file may vary with carrier phones) and open default.xml with a text editor.
Add the red highlighted part and don't forget to save.
I marked the color code of the accent color which i changed to green.

I'm not sure, if this can/will work on M9 and its software, but maybe worth a try.
Thanks @ineedone for making this possible!

Small additional note: path is the same for all carriers and works on all devices.
And make sure you change the htc-id (the number in the front) of your new added theme to something different then the other themes, otherwise the themeselector icon might behave a bit unexpectedunexpected
You can report this problem here

I had the same issue.
Your highlight is pink because you chose Black (#000000) for your blinkfeed color.
It seems the tool automatically picks a highlight based on the color you picked. I have attached an image showing you why you got pink. (The color pallet is red for some reason when you pick Black (#000000), and the color chosen seems to come from around the area the arrow points at.. but could be anywhere from the top to the bottom... not sure of the exact pattern.)
The only solution I found was to choose a very very dark NON black color. In the second image, you can see, I used Nearly Black (#00000a) and got a purple highlight.
It seems if you choose Black for your other colors in the screenshots attached, later on you can change those highlights... so it's ok... but Blinkfeed (the first color) has no such option.
It took me hours to play around until I got the Blinkfeed color and highlight color to somewhere "Acceptable". My blink feed ended up being a Navy Blue. And while HTC SAYS you can edit unpublished themes, I have not found a way, so I have to start all over to test colors on my actual phone... Ugh...

What is the hex code for the blue in Android 7.1.1?

Specifically I mean the little arrow when selecting text, the bar on the brightness bar, your profile picture in the drop down menu, the phone app, contacts app, etc.
I'm trying to build a themed home screen and I need the exact code to make matching colors if possible please. Thank you.
I found this
Want to share you creation after? I love that blue color and have been trying to think of ideas for theming some more stuff but I'm still learning
I have always liked this blue playstore!

I've always been partial to the old ICS blue for trim on a dark theme.

Thanks! I may share it if I have some new idea but for now my theme is just for the calendar widget. My old idea is no longer good (one I used on ICS) since I had day, time, and weather on my home screen which is now in a built in widget.
If you're looking for the Pixel specific blue then the hex is #4885ED. If it's just the blue in Nougat then I'm not sure. Pixels got a different shade of blue than everyone else.
