very true and a very good job man the reason iphone is so popular because its advertised as the best phone and with the functions than none of other phones have, which is obviously a lie, but a person whos not into mobile phones will obviously go for a phone thats popular etc......

If it wasn't for the overheating of 3 motherboards, I can't really fault the Desire. Very responsive and a joy to use. I will miss it. My replacement Galaxy S just isn't as quick.
What the...where's the Sense UI? You took all those gorgeous widgets...it could've been a great Ad.
lvnatic he's just using a custom launcher. whether the sense widgets are great is a question of taste i believe. Personally i like them but the alternatives on the market is just as good, and i really like the speed on aosp roms So i don't plan on going back to sense based roms anytime soon.

I did not know if I should put this in the general section or not. As many of you advance user dislike that section. But anyways... Today I came across this video, That clams that you can now use the iPhone OS on your android phone. I just wanted to know if you guys know anything about this. And do you think it is possible? I think it has been discussed before but I'll interject my opinion. Why in the name of sweet chocolate christ would you want to run the iphone os on here? I had every iphone since gen 1 and got the evo instead of iphone4 and I've never looked back. You know that expression" you don't know what you've got til its gone"? Well this is more like" you don't know what you had until you got something outrageously better"! I know devs like to do things just to prove it can be done. But id really hate to see a talented dev waste their time on this exercise in lew of something more useful like kernel, rom, and app development.

I am not saying I want to.. I really want to know if it can be done. Also I am interested in a few things the iPhone OS offers, but why in sand hills would I do something as stupid as buy an iPhone. I would never buy an iPhone. I think the phone is a peace of crap. But if I don't pay for the OS then why would I care to try a few things!
Seems strange, they never actually show the iPhone OS running on an Android device so how can you even tell if this is legit?
If it is, I think it is pretty cool. I am definitely an Android fan, but the more our device can do is always better!

Yeah! Exactly... If I could just prove it. I tried to download the file from the site but the site was down. But I did look more into and found out that this kid from NJ has proved this method works.
So here is a list of stuff our Evo's can already run:

First sorry I'm posting a lot I have history of confrontation with an iphone owner over whose device was better. So this sparks my interest a lot.
I agree it seems a bit fishy and the site to download the files doesn't exists according to Google chrome. So I cant even look into it or examine the files

So I just looked at the video again. Check out the comment: "yes, i have run into a lot of bugs. but i am working hard to fix them. This is why the files are not up yet. i hope to have them available with many bugs fixed by mid next week. for people that downloaded already.. please report bugs. thanks"

HTC HD2 trusted old pal has served me well, but time for a faster more poewerful system.
Looking forward to the Dev on it for the xda-dev's lets hope it is easier and more stable than my wifes Wildfire S.

To HELL with SDCards. I got 6 of them and only take one out to transfer big files from my laptop. It's a dying technology... Been using them since my I-MATE JAM and never filled a 16mb card, nor felt anything special for them except invariable frustration with their variable performance. Cloud is the future - together with unlimited internet bandwidth.

Hello all, I know traditionally i only review samsung devices as a samsung mobiler i've decided to branch out a bit and share the love. So here's my review on the One x. Let me know what you think, i'm always taking your comments on board and trying to make my content better.

I thought Mobilers always had access to the Samsung devices prior to general public. I clearly remember Dom and you had the SGS2 long (weeks/days) before the general public. Both of you guys had a popular thread before release of the SGS2 during last April/May.

One thing to the Multitask. The thing you reviewed on the One X as Taskmanager ist the taskmanager. Its just a graphic gimmik to show main threads and easily jump from one to another. Search on the device applist for Taskmanager and then you see your real tasks and up to 9 tasks at once.
I realy love my One X but i think all Sense gimmiks are just made to look good. Usability is just on 2nd rank. For much Sense widgets i use alternatives.

A good video, just one word of advice:
When you want to show something on the screen, dont move the phone closer to the camera, it makes the image blurry.
Best is to just keep it the way it is, so that the image stays sharp and then once you're editing the video zoom in digitally!
That'll make the screen more readable

true and you do have a point sir. but i wonder if i did not come across this app while watching the review on youtube i wonder how many people on these forums would know about it..probably not a lot. just sharing like i said and giving people more options on how to customize their phones since we have the best OS in my opinion that lets us do this without the need to root.
Like the whole point of android..it is about sharing what we have and what we know..And i know about this app and wanted to share it with the people here. if it is in the wrong place by all means move it but i feel if people are going to share apps that they find on the market and want to share it with people then i think i am in the right place for it.

People like me keep changing wallpapers/skins/themes every alternate day.... even though the like the one they have set... because they get bored... this is something different... i am sure after a week's use or so, i will get bored... so till than why not enjoy this..
and....as you said......this statement is true for this thing too :THIS IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF CUSTOMIZATION TOO MADE AVAILABLE TO ANDROID
