I'm pretty sure I'm going to order one, that looks pretty nice!

yhea it looks really nice, here (netherland) they had a little contest, on twitter, and give away three. too bad didn't get one

I have this. It's nice, and does the job well. I use it for the shower and also my morning alarm, but be wary of the purpose you want it for. if it's for watching tv, etc, remember the positioning of the headphone port on the XArc is on the side and not the top/bottom so the phone rests in portrait view not landscape.

Do you mind sharing a photo of your speaker attaching to your arc?
It would be nice.

Please can you post picture of Arc being used with MS430? I am not able visualize how Arc can stand in portrait mode with this speaker.
Never mind found it. Looks cool

Got my car holder today

Very good service from ultimate-mobiles.co.uk, ordered yesterday and didn't expect it to be here when I got home.
Here's some pics I took. Gonna fit it in the car shortly. I like the way the legs come down and recess again if you don't want them there. And I like the white release button on the back. Also, the side clamps aren't big, ugly and obtrusive like many others. A very cool little black and white vent holder which I trust to hold the phone more than many others I checked out.

Awesome, 80 views.
Lol aww bless.
Don't go all huffy mate...
Personally I don't like how it looks. But it defiantely looks strong enough to keep the phone safe. Also good to know that company has good service, spotted a few things I fancy.
But I don't like how it looks, I'm sticking with my exogear.
Where did you bought it? It look very nice!
How much it cost?
Tks.
Looks really nice buddy, I'm thinking of ordering the vent mounted one too. At the moment I have a suction cup one that I used to use with my nexus s. The problem is the galaxy s2 is thinner than the nexus so my mount doesn't quite hold it so sturdily. These look ideal, any chance of pics with it installed so I can see what it looks like? Cheers
Sure, here it is, I took these pics today, here's a little gallery.

Rodrigo, it's from ultimate-mobiles.co.uk
I forgot to do pics in landscape mode. So yea, there's a knob on the back which loosens off and then tightens so you can rotate to landscape mode.
I've tested with some emergency brake stops, and the phone feels very solid in the holder, not shaking itself out. Also, you can adjust the vertical and horizontal angles so you can get the phone facing exactly where you want to the millimetre.
small world I live in Whetstone, lol
I got the suction cup version of this after I realised the magnet in my magnetic mount was screwing with the compass!
It's been serving me well for six months. I don't use the foldy out feet - it grips well enough without them.

[MOD][PROJ] Magnetic Base Stand !!Update N7+Gnex!!

Used magnetic base stand from a dial indicator to hold GNex while mirroring output through MHL adpater to my second computer monitor at work. I used some flexible preforated pipe strap to clamp together the micro usb plug part of the MHL adapter and the 3.5mm audio plug tightly parallel so the phone can be set straight onto them. The audio out goes to some cheap PC speakers. Using an Apple magic trackpad to control via bluetooth ala Living Digitaly even though I loathe apple, no good substitute. But it does work seamlessly and intuitively, so I gotta give it up. The rest of the bracketry is adjustable to any angle and has a support arm to keep some force off the connectors. I chose to use these material because we had them lying around my office, other material could easily be substituted. No solution yet for the rat's nest of wires. It seems solid and should be a simple project for the adventurous. Check out my other project, a pogo pin car dock
The video!

Changed configuration a bit to lower center of gravity, ease docking, and unblock monitor.
Thats awesome!
interesting, does the trackpad work out of the box or did you do some scripting?
Plug and play! Its a shame its apple, and works very well, because I would much rather used something from an android or aftermarket manufacturer. It was also damn expensive, but worth it in the end once you are all lazy on the couch and the phone is ALL the way over by the TV.
That is amazing!

I like the look of this, it looks kinda steampunkish with the metal rods showing like that. Also like someone else has said previously, to bad you are using the apple track pad thingie. As natural as that may be, I dont want to give my money to apple. It's unfortunate that no third party businesses make any of those or something somewhat similar.
That someone was me. still use this one at work even though I made the ultimate glow dock. I'm an admitted apple-hater, but they sure whipped up an unparalleled interface. Too bad for them, its best use is on Android!
Inspiring setup! :good:
Could you tell me what ROM/Launcher/Dock you are using? Looks very appealing.

As a previous owner of the dock, I recommend staying away. As you can probably tell by the pictures, the dock is unstable and tips easily. But to make it worse, they only put a rubber grip on the back but not the front, leading to a lot of sliding around. Not to mention the rather high price tag. Avoid if you want an actual functional dock.

Yeah I was wondering about stability when I came across it a while back... Plus (at least in the UK) the only available colours I saw at the time were black or white

Those docks are nice, had that one for my Desire HD.
Only I prefer a universal one now, who will also work with a (alu) case.
I bought this one:

The Official Charging Dock I'd Like to See

So now that we've got built-in wireless charging, I think it's time for some cool official wireless chargers. This is the idea I had:

This charger would allow you to use your new Nexus 7 as a clock while it's charging. Drop it onto the dock, and it stands up and makes it easy to read from across the room and easy to quickly grab when it's done charging. Matte black would look nice, with a basic white indicator light that turns on when the device is charging and turns off when it's done.
That's pretty neat, but I have a nice addition to that: the tablet slides in and down into the cradle, and there's a hole where the Pulse LED is so you can see if you have notifications; that would be instead of a light to indicate charging.

Rather have a landscape dock.

Nice idea. The only downside of the new N7 is I was used to keeping the old one docked neatly at my bedside. Probably have to wait 6 months for a dock to come out.

Agreed.
Or one that can be used either portrait or landscape ( I can see a use for either).
this would actually be really nice, charge my tablet while browsing the internet or playing games, like the concept
This idea is neat. I would like to see it for both vertical and horizontal viewing. In another thread I said a stand should have some weight so it does not move easy. Or it could have no slip on the bottom.

Universal Alumium Desk Stand

I was searching for appropriate desk stand/dock for my HTC One, but all I found were mostly generic plactic cheap looking docks and stands, which weren't suitable for gorgeous design HTC have come up with. I finally came across desk stand, which would match perfectly with my silver HTC One. I bought it for inexpensive 11.99 € + 4.49 € (shipping cost) on Mobilefun.co.uk .

The stand itself is made out of aluminum. It looks great with HTC One. The second part is special grippy pad, which is made out of plastic and special grippy material. Because of high coefficient of friction the phone is held still and doesn't move an inch even if you shake the stand. Outstanding .
I was a bit worried if the contact area will be big enough because HTC One features slightly curved back. No problem there - phone is held securely . To prevent scratching your desk or whichever surface you want to use your stand on, there is some sort of foam underneath.
Phone can be used when it is held by the stand (portrait or landscape), there is no danger of flippig over . In the future I plan to buy 38 mm NTAG203 NFC chip (I will stick it to the back of the grippy pad ) so the phone will recognize when it is docked - it will change my sound profile, connect to my home wifi network etc.
There are some pictures for better presentation.
If you have some questions feel free to ask .
Looks like an accident waiting to happen. Dog bumps night stand etc.... and down the stand goes along with the ONE.
Looks to topsy, tipsy, with such a small base on stand.
impressive. might pic this us to have next to my computer. would u mind attaching a charging cable so i can see how it looks?
