Install Instructions:
1. Download ROM labeld as 'MIUIAndroid.com(UK)'
2. Must have root and ClockWorkMod Recovery
3. Wipe Cache
4. Wipe Data/Factory reset
5. Install ROM
6. Reboot (First boot can take a few minutes.)
Install Instructions radio:
1. Run CMD with adb.
2. Typ: fastboot flash radio radio-maguro-i9250xxla2.img
Bugs:
+ Lockscreen has some non-english writing still
- http://www.galnetmiui.co.uk/content/miui-themes ,updated theme.
+ Lockscreen shows a smaller background in the top-left and the current background in the rest
- If you go to theme and choose a lockscreen of your choose it fixes this problem.
+ In-call screen background is the one from the lockscreen top-left, however full-sized
+ Default browser uses Baidu for search (Please can we have Google?). Could replace default with Chrome perhaps even?
- In browser settings >search you can change it to google and it will search google from there on. baidu must be default.
+ Under the Status Bar Settings the "expanded notification view" two lines aren't capitalized
+ The "Recommended" folder starts empty?
+ Google+ not installed like it is in the official ICS for Galaxy Nexus (Not a biggy, just something I noticed)
+ Google Music can't be installed from the Play Store, unlike G+.
+ Can't switch from photocamera to camera, getting fc.

yeah, it's like GSM updates to the thread don't matter. the ROMs still build on a weekly basis, but they just never update the OP really.
also, MIUI.us and miuiandroid are different.
edit: and thank you for the thread. please be sure that things are labeled correctly, ie currently the MIUIAndroid links to MIUI.us. as previously stated, those are two different things. cheers mate!

Unfortunately not yet, also switching to the video option causes FC. The current camera is still the AOSP one.

Experience
After the rom, not the Contacts application on the SIM garnered. So you have to install it manually :silly: :
-You go to Contacts -> Appearance dialog box requires Google login account -> Login Google account to use the Google sync contacts
-You go to Contacts -> Appearance dialog asking Google account login choose "Not now" -> Select "Export Import contacts -> Import from SIM card -> Read on hold, press the Menu button (4 brick) -> Import all
**Note: The machine only garnered 2 contacts on sim 1, if you want to import contacts on sim 2 sim 2 installed, you remove the sim tray 1 and then do the same
-After rom, 83MB of internal memory is available, you should go to Link2SD mount command before installing apps
-In applications "Ninja SMS" On to select messaging wherever

Simply turn off the device and then on again. The device will be connected.
NOTES
THE ROM ONLY LANGUAGE: ENGLISH AND CHINESE
But inserting sim-card identifies the rom your language automatically, many features of the system should be in your own language
- Even for many external apks multilanguage (as tests and photos in italian language)
IN SETTINGS / ADVANCED / BACKUP & RESET: WARNING !!!! RESTORE TAKES SOME TIME BECAUSE CLEAR SD-CARD INTERNAL!
The wallpaper of the lockscreen, for pak selected, changes every two hours.
CAPILLARY ANALYSIS OF THE EXTERNAL APKS:
often during install apps, permission manager starts working,
noting the privileges that are given for the application.
EXAMPLE: Many applications require phone ID, IuniOs that can detect and highlight.
EDIT Obviously, as for My rom Miui, use only, "one" of the two tweaks Sound.
MaxxAudio is on by default. Press Off MaxxAudio, if you want to use Viper.

what you say, to me, it does not appear.
I used this rom daily for some time, before publishing.
But without hearing any sound crazy.
Of course I take it for granted that you have used (one) only tweaks sound. You've used layers volumes -medium / bas. The higher volume is normal distortion, as with any system loudness-
I also write this, the first post of this thread, and better explained to the first post (notes) of my Miui Rom.

[ROM] Khadas Vim SCV1-ATV (Android TV)

Custom kernel with some little fixes.
Default Governor Interactive ( I recommend adding a heatsink to the device )
Remove Google Cast since it wont work and never will and was there only wasting resources(Ram)

Android TV Version
Spoofed as MIBOX3 International
Leanback Launcher (it may take some minutes to show the recommendations... be patient)
Live Channels (if you update it, it will not show up in leanback launcher until you add a source, like usb tv dongle, hdhomerun, pluto, haystack etc..)
ATV Remote control
Voice Search
2 On Screen Keyboards, Default on English language is Leanback one and on other lang's is the "normal" one... You can choose the default one in the settings.
Live Wallpapers, you can control it in Settings -> Display -> Daydream.
And All the other mambo jambo from ATV....
Ported the new added stuff from ugoos AM3 1.0.0 rom(Thks ugoos for the nice work) that includes:
- USB OTG-HOST Switcher (SC settings -> Hardware -> USB switch)
- Gamepad Settings (SC settings -> System -> Gamepad Settings)
- NTP Server setting (Date and time -> NTP Server)
- Fixed ext4 support
- Added choice of actions for sleep timer and power key on RC (Display -> Daydream -> Power key action)
- Added ability of disabling wake up from motions (Display -> Daydream -> Wake up from motion)
- Added Debug Settings (SC settings -> System -> Debug Settings)
- Temperature, Ram etc monitor.
- Samba Server
- Root / Unroot
Proper RGB Fix ( Use the Included app, box-fix )
Netflix, youtube, playstore...etc... fully working ( Youtube 4k only on 4k tv's )
initd.d support.
PS3/PS4 gamepad support ( only with cable... )
Fixed Xbox360 gamepad that showed power menu on dpad left, so no need to xposed fix!
RGB fix now its on the "stock" android settings(Display)... Can also use the app included.
New App that controls Brightness and contrast on the fly, and also apply's the rgb fix, cec fix and the saved brightness value on boot! IT NEEDS ROOT TO WORK.. (Many thanks to catharsys for the app )

Updated supersu app so no need to be updated from playstore to update "su" binary. ( Read bugs section )

Fixed auto frame switch in kodi. It only works on FTMC(included) SPMC 16.6.0, on kodi 16.1 doesn't work because is to old(misses a lot of fixes for the new S9xx devices), Kodi 17 its a it and miss this days!

Bugs V1:
IF THE BOX DON'T BOOT IN 6 MIN ON THE 1º BOOT, DISCONNECT THE POWER AND RECONNECT AND WAIT DON'T TOUCH IT UNTIL IT BOOTS.... CHOOSE SETUP ON THE 1º SCREEN WHEN IT FINISH BOOT!
You may lose sound when enable my rgb fix on my kernel only (disconnect the hdmi cable and connect it again to solve it or change source on your tv)
On 1º boot when you setup in english language the on screen keyboard may not show when you going to put you wifi password, to fix it go back and change to another language and then go right back again to english and the on screen keyboard should be working now(you need to click it): YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THIS ONCE AND ONLY IN ENGLISH!
Only update "su" if you are going to to stay at root if are not going to stay at root and you are going to be doing a lot of changes between the two dont update it! Or you will get a boot animation loop...
Ugoos Firefly it needs ugoos kernel so dont turn it on because it wont work...

I do like this. Does it come with the clear case in the photos on his website? What version of android is being developed for it? I see Ubuntu listed as well.... THAT is awesome since thats my OS of choice for my home server. This tiny thing is likely MUCH faster and more power efficient than my Core2Duo micro server.
What OS does it ship with or do you just download and flash?

TWRP on Khadas VIM?
Hi, I got my Vim a few days ago, with a pure Android ROM (already rooted) from 03. March 2017 This version isn't listed in the available ROMs on Khadas docs. So I wanted to backup the whole thing before I flash other roms. Since I use TWRP on other Android devices, I'd like to be able to use it here as well. I read about TWRP 3.0.2 for the Probox2 Air (http://forum.khadas.com/t/backup-restore/137/3), and tried the official TWRP app to flash this recovery. But later it did stuck during boot into recovery, just displaying the letters "VIM". After I booted nomally without issues, I used the TWRP app again to re-flash the backupped original recovery, which did work.
I guess I could use the USB burning tool to flash TWRP via PC, (http://docs.khadas.com/bootcamp/UpgradeViaUSBCable/), but I read also about booting from a SD card with an .img-file there. I think this would not change my current system before I can back it up totally. But I can't find any (detailed) infos how to do this. Any help with TWRP on Android 6 would be highly appreciated.
