Unlocking screen alternatives - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm running a HDH but to unlock my phone I have to press the power button, and with this new case it is awkward. Is there and mods that I can change this, maybe use vol buttons as well?
BTW I'm running LeeDroid 3.o.1

try holding down the home button along with the volume down button then press the power button...
I'm pretty sure the option to turn it off should be there, but just pull the battery and put it back in. Then try again.
Battery pull worked. Thanks.

[Q] Music control

I recently switched back to ARHD from CM7 and I really miss the feature to switch songs while the screen is locked, over the volume buttons.
Is there a way to enables this in sense roms, or does anyone know in which file the settings should be that i can manually activate it?
thanks

There is an app in the market that can do this! Search for remap or something like that. And I think you can use it while it is locked

How to turn off the phone when bootloop/system lag/ etc.

Just hold power button and volume-up button until the phone turns off after flashing with touch buttons.

Isn't it a case of simply holding the power button, without touching the volume button?

U have to push power button and volume up button at the same time to work. And think: If an app lags and u can't get the screen working? U can't put out the battery. This is the only exit if u don't have any PC and USB cable.

You can simply hold the power button. I've done it loads of times.
It doesn't work in lockscreen.

Just did it and works fine. Simply hold the power button.
Although the ROM you are on possibly does not have it.

I've tried it only on Sense ROMs, but it also works with AOKP/CM9 I think.

Just press power and home button in the same time and hold it for 3 seconds in 4.0.4 tw roms. Simple
If you get the task manager thing, that means your doing it wrong and not pressing it in the same time.

Sorry I just rush read. I figured you'd mention Vol - and Power. But the new bottons worked. Thanks for the help and my apologies for the mistake.
