How do you sign in for Google account on Froyo? 3G or WiFi?
I know that 3G always works, but I've been trying to figure out a way to sign in using wifi alone.
Iam using wifi only for the moment .
Even for sign in for Google account never used 3g on my phone or data ,only wifi.
And market works 100% for me.

Yes, finally a workable and fully functional android with no glitches...thanks for sharing tips, will reflect this over my post.

Crap. I'm on Windows and I gotta DL Ubuntu for this because GParted Live disc doesn't mount the SDcard. Keeps giving me "No directory found' for the "sudo CP" step.

Hey guys, I've tested it by following the video carefully and have successfully installed Froyo on my phone.
Going to test Market now. The clock is working properly of course.
I don't like the black theme though. Any idea how to revert it back to the stock theme?
New Update:WiFi confirmed to be working fine. [I entered the wrong password all along. LOLWTF]
Market is having no problems. Installed over 5 apps already.

Agree with those updates, yeah, and I don't like that black notification bar theme either, shows dithered gradients.
But I didn't experienced the last point before, probably crashes caused by some apps?

As per mentioned, it's pretty erratic and random. No crashes for around an hour for now.
Also, just like you've said, the black notification bar is seriously messed up. When I pull it down fast, it shows INCONSISTENT levels of transparency which is ugly.

i8000 of course. Haha. Only installed Facebook, replaced ADW.Launcher, installed LauncherPro. Nothing much done so far.

Just remember this is still a custom rom but i hope this will satisfy all those after it for now.
Only one bug ive noticed is that windows live doesnt work but i havent found a version that does (now fixed in v3 thanks to cab from + que ppc)
Ill update this thread as new builds get released or i find out what the real stock apps are (eg splash screens and comm manager) but for now it is as stock as possible!

well if theres any bugs ill update the post with a new version. i havent found anything other than the one with windows live but i only got to test it for 24 hours. normally i run them for a week to make sure. also the comm manager isnt the standard its the 10 button black one. i have over 600 oems and none are the standard. ill get it at some point though. must admit ive been busy with my titanium and home editions recently ive got the new verions of them being released tonight after work titanium is a 21234\21728 hybrid and home is the new 21806 build both being a HD like as i can get. found some nice images in the development and hacking forums to use. they realy bring the home rom to life

The WelcomeCenter does not work from scratch. Also gives certificate error. Installing the attached SDKCerts.cab in GregorySL's post did not help. Tried a soft reset after installing them offcourse but to no avail.

This is actually my first WM6.5 experience and I like it so far. Thought it would be slow as many Manila2D roms but
the scrolling and such is fairly smooth. And I like the fact that its not so cluttered with colored icons everywhere beeing "stock like" and all.

alot of people have being asking for this kind of rom its handy as a good base as its clean of all the exras but not too clean we lose somtimes handy features. glad you like it and welcome to the world of 6.5
I guess its abit late now, but I flashed V1 of your rom and I must say its working great! I didnt get any certificate problems or any problems mentioned above although i did install sdkcerts after installing 2 3 things. Added netcf3.5 etc myself and advanced config and welcome center work fine. Only problem I saw was the IE address bar being abit messed up. But doesnt matter as Skyfires much better. Apart from that its blazing fast in opening stuff, and booting up, so I guess I'm going to keep it. Thanks a lot for the amazing rom, I was getting tired of losing half a second here and there and everywhere I hope these stock-ish roms are here to stay

Looks like this rom is a big hit, but guys he has got other roms that he is developing so dont expect every single error to be solved right away, just be grateful hes taken some time out to do what he has.

How we update our ROM.
For the new users:
- You can download every version from our website
For exising users:
- Update OTA
- for every 0.0.x update, you do not download the whole ROM again, but small flashable zips
- every x.x.0 update will come as a complete rom with full wipe.
- of course, every update will come up on the website.

We made some sloppy mistakes with the v1.4 update (we wanted to update too quickly hehe)
- aroma still gives v1.3.1
- we havent included the UpdateMe.apk in our ROM which makes it OTA-compatible. Download it HERE

both tethering and camera don't work untill there is a 3.0 kernel. There are people working on that ;-) the bug list is under tech specs.

Sorry,i was blinded because i was soooooo exciting.....haha.Waiting for USB Tethering....It is important than Camera for me.Lol.....Thank you very much for your harrrdd work.Please do not leave SENSE ics developing.Alot of devs are working on AOSP ics.Im NOT complaining at them.I just wanna sense ics rom.Thanks again...

I'm most of the time also on CM9 because cam and tethering works there, but as soon as kernel 3 is released, and this rom will be my daily driver.

Wow.Thaaaaanks!Does is there a usb tethering working aosp rom for mytouch4g?I gave up aosp ics roms brcause of TERRIBLE mobile data downloading speed..No one can give me a solution for that.But when i tried a sense ics rom,i got normal downloading speed.So im waiting for sense.

well for the Desire S i use Wifi tethering every day with CM9 so...
Have you already tested the ROM now? If it works Floatshow can remove the UNTESTED mark

Bug:
I transferred a file to my phone.Even after i unplug phone,nortification bar still showing USB Debugging connected nortification.For now,it is only bug..
hmm.But there seems very little slow about responding.Like,if i press Settings icon,sometimes it takes 2 seconds to go to settings...That is all.

Touch drivers is only for the recovery ;-P but since MT4G has a touchpad, not really something to worry about.
does overclocking fix the slow speed?
Has google voice to text been fixed? Thats been a issue in all Sense 4 roms.

Sorry boss,i dont like overclocking.Rom is not buggy,but there is that very tiny slow speed in sometimes.It is not a big deal..By thr way,when i started google chrome for first time i got graphic glitches.It happened twice.After that,it is over.Now works smoothy.
I used No Bloat to remove unwanted system apps.I mark them and let the app to remove them and minimize it.But it is not munumize.I mean it has stopped even i minimized(home button).I do not know that this is a problem of No Bloat ok.

Graphic glitches in Google Chrome is true, but that is an app bug, not a ROM bug.
I don't know if it's a No Bloat specific bug, it might be because they don't support ICS?

isnt this just another themed android rom? reading the thread title really make me believe its a real wp7 rom, and it wasnt mention anywhere in this thread. lol

First of a BIG thank you for the efforts on this one
Been using the ROM for almost a week and find it very enchanting
I would thus like to point some areas where I faced problems in the ROM – Maybe it can be Fixed/Updated to make it even more refined
1. As mentioned earlier, the boot screen is large and tends to spread over
2. Try using the clock for alarm purposes (both in landscape and potrait mode) and you shall see that the Time digits are somewhat cut off
3. This one I encountered today – probably the most significant of my discoveries -> When calling in a number that requires you to use the dial pad while the call is in progress (IVR systems of cell companies / banks), I found it IMPOSSIBLE to press any of the keys of the last line of the standard dialer i.e. *, 0, #
In my case, I required to punch in a zero while the call was in progress, but since it is overlapped by the END button, I ended up disconnecting the call. As a last resort, I had to make use of another phone to make my urgent call
Comparing the battery life of the Honeycomb themed and this, I find that Honeycomb gave me almost 2 days of backup on the MAX – around 36 hrs average, while this one is giving me an average of 22-26hrs only. The MAX that it pushed me was till 32 hrs. I have been using the same services (like FeedR Ringtone volume settings, vibration settings etc) over both the ROM’s
Personally, this ROM is more appealing and is great to have along
If the above can be cured, I am sure that this will be the best C7.2 themed ROM for P350
In comparision to the Honeycomb, this ROM has almost zero Force Close errors (I had run the Fix permissions from Clockwork also – maybe that helped)

Hi Folks
Let me post my review here for the updated Mango Rom ver 2
Installation
Installation was pretty much the same and happened without much errors. Need to keep signature verification off. Wiped all Data and installed ROM and GApps. Restored my contacts by importing the .vcf file created by Import/Export option and Restored all my SMS using SMS Backup/Restore tool (using this since I got my device)
As suggested, I removed the Metro Messaging. Could not remove the Fede's as I would need TitaniumBackup
Installed Messaging 7 and Uber music from the W7 Nightly
Also used the Phone.apk provided by Lalit for solving the overlapping keypad problem during calls
My Experience
The new ROM is faster and better. The new keyboard is too COOL. Battery life seems better than the earlier ROM. Music is much better and Uber is great
Some things noticed
1> The lock screen seems to have changed in terms of appearance with respect to the previous version - not a bug, but just mentioning it
2> Using either of the Phone.apk, the speaker phone does not work anymore --- HELP !!!
4> Using the Clock for setting alarms, see digits cutoff from bottom ... a small fix can help

repaired boot animation
hi, I used this rom a while ago but I couldn't get used to the layout of windows phone. I thought I'd put into it, so I resized the boot animation, and made it so the loop is cleaner.

you need a root browser to do this.
tried and tested on cyanogenmod 7.2 I got the source files from your latest windows mango tango rom. hope you enjoy it

Failed to start my phone
Hi,
I copied the ROM windows Mango Tango for LG P350) and stored it on SD card. I installed ROM Manager from play store and choose the option install from sd card and gave the path of zip file. but now my phone is stuck in start up screen (screen with LG Logo) and some text is coming on the upper left hand side as follows,
"Fast boot mood started
udc_start()"
i can not start my phone in normal or safe mode and i can not even hard reset it.
Can i install back stock rom for lg p350?
If yes then what is the procedure?
Please advise me............

Hello everyone, this is kevinrus123.
After a lot of tweaking and work i sucessfully ported FlymeOS (aka MeizuOS) to our I9000!
After all i can't say it is a port , because i tweaked very much and i think i could say it is my rom
Now it is ready to get from ALPHA version to STABLE version - yeah a stable version !
You will really like this rom , it got such a nice and smooth UI and the Apps will start really fast ; Battery life is also very good.
If someone want to make a review on Youtube , i would be really happy.
There are only two little bugs:
-Network settings can't open - causes force close
-A litte graphical glitch in Lockscreen
All in all it is a stable version and ready for daily use.
Android version is 4.0.4 ICS , it runs fast like hell!
Screenshots are attached , the ROM looks unbelivable good and is blazing fast , even faster than Jelly Bean!
Please don't flash GAPPS for ICS , because there is already a PlayStore in the rom.

I always fixed this problem by rebooting into recovery, then wipe data/cache and installing again .zip package
After all I can say it is a fast rom but for me it is not a rom for daily use. I have no access to my external sd card. Network settings dont work and everything looks a bit to small. Anyway good work :good:

In fact these problems big problems compare with F4K r5 where everything is working!!
But if dev solve these problems i flash it over f4k.
Big respect for the developer to keep up to date ICS which is the best version of android to our device!!!!

I think too that ICS is the fastest and smoothest version for our i9000.
JB is fast too , but the battery is only horrible...

Flashed cm9 latest nightly. After this flashed flymeos. Despite having some errors with network settings and music player. Both restarted once. Music player does not have control for headphones. Still looks promising. What cm kernel it should be on?
Yeah, I also have problems with music player - when I try to add a folder with MP3s an error appears. Also in lockscreen those 3 icons dial, sms, unlock are hidden under the bottom border of screen. I see only top edge of icons - also all three only unlocks the screen. No shortcut to dial or sms It is very fast, I must say! Hope you will fix those problems in next update, because it is worth waiting
EDIT: wow, I restarted my phone and WiFi is still switching ON/OFF After another restart it is OK, but that was strange

MIUI not built on kitkat yet - this is the highest android version for miui.

Q: have you enabled landscape for miui home, and modified the row/column count to make more suitable for our form factor? I did a hack job some time ago, and it looked quite reasonable in landscape after the mod.

Tonights the night, and because 4.4 isn't on MiCode yet.
As a matter of fact outside of MI devices, 4.2.2 is the 'supported' android version because development has finished
These releases aren't one-night stands; I'm actually going to provide weekly updates once the bases are sorted lol

These devices lack the RAM needed so although the code is right it won't boot.
I'm going to need to slim down a lot of **** and adjust resources to MDPI when I get a chance; all the MDPI devices are in a situation where it won't boot/finish booting or doesn't look right if it does because the only resources avail officially are HDPI
Edit: I also made this ROM without regard to the RAM the device has as well, if I removed all the translation stuff it would prob. be ok; I'll have to check into this.

Oh you're right, It has 1 GB.
I really don't know why it doesn't move past the boot logo; do you load the kernel via 3rd pt injector or use zImage? I found the GNex builds which had this issue needed a zImage kernel
Who has Stringray replace the boot.img on it and check
