Lets start with a thank you for Stericson and JesusFreke. Stericson has helped me so much in understanding the possibilities and limitations of themes and showing me some fun little tricks and mods that no one else has figured out yet. Without him no one would be where we are now.
My Promise to You: I promise what all the work I create is free for the community to use, edit, and change and I will never ***** if someone forgets to give me credit but I will always make sure the right people get credit. I promise that not everything will be compatible, most of the time I am lucky if it even works. I promise that on occasion I am wrong but I will usually admit it. I promise to not flame on you for asking a retarded question, but I also may not answer it, especially if its listed in this post which most things are. And I promise to do my best to bring you guys fun stuff I am working on, but I jump around a lot so dont expect any continuous work on a theme or anything else, I just work on whatever I want to work on whenever I decide I want to work on something.

Ok so I added the progress circle in blue, I added the Hero widgets from manup456, it has the new battery status icons from the Pre, and a few other things I am failing to remember at the moment.

Updated the GPS status icon so it doesnt have the grey waves, its either on or off. I updated the Google logo for the search widget, I changed the pressed launcher tab to white so there is some change to it, and I replaced the folder images with the default ones for now until I fix them.

The main change was the tab to pull up the dialer while in a call. Before it was clear with black lettering so it blended in but now its the launcher tab inverted to white which looks much better. I also have 2 options for those that want the blue dialer back. I added the lite version seperately because I didnt realize so many people were having slowdown issues. If you do you can flash back to the default Cyanogen ROM and then flash my lite theme and you will be golden.

Special thanks to nabzilla1990 for providing some of the other app icons that I hadnt included yet. Other than that I went back to the Hero #6 clock that looks like an altimeter, I changed some launcher images to fit better and make a couple other little changes like a darker lockscreen background with a white Oreo-esque boarder.

The scroll bar issue has been fixed!!! And a couple other things were changed like reverting back to the Hero white dialer buttons and a new lockscreen background with transparency. Not to mention a sweet new carbon fiber boot screen. The v3 is a minor change to the lock screen background and most of the apps are removed from the update.zip since I'm not using them yet.

I was able to fix the issues I had last night with the update and everything should be good to go. The only thing still needing work is the text of icons when they are selected. I also went back to the blue oPhone dialer and the blue Hero battery because I was getting a lot of requests for it. Again, this is the lite update.zip

I got most of it done. Its pretty much back to where it was at CM 3.6.5 but with minor changes like the lock screen and dialer buttons with a blue tint. Either way have at it and let me know what I can fix. And yes a lite version of the theme is on the way.

So I took the CyanogenMod 3.6.6 ROM and threw in most of the graphics from the Oreo theme. I still need to change the notification bar to black and do a few other things but this ROM is relatively untouched so everything should work.

[07/14/09] Minor tweaks and changes @10:15
A thank you to r_dub and his Hero clocks because they look much better than the one I had. I also switched from the beautiful widgets Hero looking widget to the paid version of the weather widget. I put my battery meter back into the lock screen, I changed up the dialer a bit so it looks better and a couple other tweaks and tunes. I am still looking into the scroll bar issue.

[07/13/09] New completely rebuilt theme with complete Cyanogen update @15:40
Well thanks to mianosm and his theme I was able to recover some of the cyanogen features. I took the original CyanogenMod 3.6.5 and put in a few mianosm components along with the components from the Hero and oPhone themes. Because of this I think everything should work but I know we lost the cool Hero lockscreen. I will look into restoring that or just making my own. Either way here is the next Oreo to sample. I am learning how to decompile and recompile so hopefully soon we will have a from scratch kspec theme so its exactly the way I want it.

I know since I posted my first theme you guys have been asking for a change log but I still dont have one. But I think if you read through these "blogs" from each day it gives you a really good idea of what was changed. I will always try to keep the information here as accurate as possible but many times I change things to see if people notice or to see if they like it more or less.

Ok I made an update before bed. I fixed the GPS icon, put in edited Hero data icons, Hero wifi, added back the browser from Cyanogen and rethemed to try and fix the download issue, and I changed the dialer keys to white.

I present you Kspec Oreo, a mashup of oPhone and Hero graphics. The theme is based upon tehseano's Hero theme with components from Drizzy Drake Rogers' oPhone theme. This was a quickie build to get the cool blue oPhone graphics with the dark Hero feel. I also "fixed" the signal strength status icon so it doesn't touch the battery. Feel free to post any issues you find or give me suggestions. This is NOT the complete update.zip from Cyanogen, it is the Hero theme update from tehseano with my visual edits added from DDR.

From my first post If you flash back to normal and then flash my theme you should be good without wiping.
Bump for another ADP1.1 build. From now on I will only work in ADP since RCXX builds limit our ability to customize themes. ADP1.1 is the most true to the concept of Android.

How do RCXX builds limit theming? I really like your theme, but most other themes are primarily for RC30 (and are probably going to be updated for RC33)...
Doing the basics like swapping pictures is really easy to do in any version, but once you get into xmls and editing other aspects it takes so much time figuring out how to do it to one version that its better to keep digging around in that version to see what else you can change instead of taking the time to do the same thing you now know how to do to a different version. Stericson is the man when it comes to developing themes and I would rather keep playing with new things and seeing whats possible than trying to swap pictures like many people can do so much better than I.
You are welcome to read up on some of the walkthroughs and take my theme and convert it if you would like. You can even hit me up if you need some help. Its not too hard but it does take a bit of time.
That sucks I am totally impressed by your themes though! The best I have seen in my opinion, however I don't want to switch to adp1.1 and lose some tmo functionality. But awesome work though.

I would like to see a jf 1.42 RC33 build Please ... with the carbon fiber status bar.... Great themes keep up the good work.
For some reason when I try to flash it on ADP1.1 1.43JF it just hangs on opening package and doesn't get past this had to pull the battery to get it to respond. This is the first time I have ever had a problem like this installing a them any ideas???
Never mind, I re-downloaded it and it looks to be working correctly. Nvm just checked and it is stuck on the Kspec Kustom screen. Got it had to do a wipe and now it is working. Awesome thank you!

Edint3000 and myself are going to start working more closely together, our themes are becoming so similar it makes sense to do this, we haven't defined what that will mean yet, possibly 1 single release between us, or 2 very simliar ones with slightly different styles.... we'll keep you posted.

Theme looks good but you havent mentioned any credits for the boot animation you have included in the second version. I know you just messaged me to ask me to make you a custom one but you should really ask before including someone elses work in your theme and at least mention where its from in your post.

Hey it works on JUWE ROM 4.3.1 and this theme looks very nice
first you need to wipe the recovery of casch and casch dalvik and then install this theme

in my phone, with jvh, when the system starts, and is mounting media content etc, the phone restarts to the the bootanimation all the time.

work well with GingerReal 5.2 JVO, but i dont have the 8 lockscreens D:, and the power button to boot into recovery all are messed up D:, Changed theme and the new theme's bootanimation didnt show up, insted the Industrial theme's bootanimation showed up. any idea on how to cure this?

I tried to make it as most AOSP as possible and IMO I did quite well...
It is for JVS and will be updated everytime I find a suitable framework as base.

As i said it gets ROM version updates when SH ROM gets a new update.
ATM it's JVP so this is JVP too.
i did forget 5 icons in this v now..
will put up an updated framework.res (have to have flashed big pack first. if you already flashed big pack you dont need to flash again to update framework) soon.

As my sig suggests I am on Simply Honey (because I love the Honeycomb style) but it's good to know that I can get the same look even if I feel like switching ROMs in the future for some reason.

Love the look of this theme and I was wondering if this theme is compatible with Darkys 10.2EE JVQ?

Nice theme, I like it.
However, the CPU load seems high, even in standby mode and no application running. Rarely goes under 10%.
And this is why probably the battery drains fast (about 20% in 6 hours).

This is a theme that was cooked in the UOT Kitchen.
It's a mod for the Simon Sense 3.5 V2, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598058
It's simply a tweak for things I wanted to see.. They are:
- 6 Signal bars (this is a hack; I'm working on doing it properly)
- Blue Sliders
- Blue Edge Glow and spinner
- Battery Mod with %
- 3G icon instead of EV icon
To install, copy the file into the root of your SDCARD. Boot into Clockwork Mod, and install.
Of course, It's a GREAT idea to nandroid.. =-)
