Hi All,
Was shopping around the internet and found this:
http://www.kingofgadgets.co.uk/products/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-i9100-spare-battery-power-pack.html?null
Has anyone got something like this or tried it.
I myself and thinking of buying 1 but im not to keen on the shape

It's friggin ugly!! ewwww I would rather buy a spare battery or carry around a charger.
Would not like to be seen in public with that.

It looks quite interesting but wtf with the knob in the upper left side? It makes the case look so ugly...

the one for the S2 doesnt have that knob at the top. The one with the 'knob' is for the original Galaxy S which has the mico usb connection at the TOP of the device.

Samsung make one and it is cheaper than the one you are looking at.
Try searching for Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 Extended Battery Case.

its starting to pop up at amazon germany:
http://www.amazon.de/Samsung-EEB-U2...m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&pf_rd_r=1T0CKA0P8A9J2RFRYPPC

http://www.accesoriossmartphone.com/bateria-original-samsung-galaxy-s-ii-p-1510.html
There's the OEM battery if anyone cares, it seems to be cheap.
Then here is the extended case: http://www.accesoriossmartphone.com/bateria-original-samsung-galaxy-s-ii-p-1510.html
Free shipping (at least for me! hehe), I'll probably get it if my battery life sucks.

Recommended Dock from EBay

Hi There!
Has anyone got any experience with particular cradle/docks from Ebay?
Ideally I think I would like a horizontal dock, but can do portrait.
The "USB-Sync-Cradle-Dock-Charger-Samsung-i9100-Galaxy-S-2" on eBay. (Since I've posted so little, I'm not yet allowed to post links).
I bought one'o these. Don't expect much of it, but I think it'll do what it's supposed to. I just hope there's some anti-slip rubber feet on it, so the phone can be used while mounted. Droidstuff.se (swedish site) has a very nice, special made Android universal dock in black metal (which everybody knows us scandinavians are very good at! ). It's pretty expensive, though, and availability is scarce.
Here is the one I ordered: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170633167683
I still haven't gotten it yet (even though I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago)... I will let you know what I think if / when I get it.
When it arrives, I'd be interested to know whether it looks like it'd work with a case on
ebay dock
I ordered that ebay dock, it came pretty quick, its ok for the money, it doesnt give a snug cutom fit but does just fine, i might actually order a sceond one as you can charge it from your pc/laptop or hook in a wall charger.
It look like theres enough room to work with a case but im not a big fan of cases so im unable to tell.

Thinking of that one, looks pretty good and it also charges a separate battery at the same time, however not in stock yet any thoughts?
I'd really want my device lied horizontally. Comfortable while watching movies But no such a dock in the offing.

1 already bought this one, two days on ebay. I dont like it at all as the phone sites in it almost upright, there isnt enough of an angle on it to use the phone comfortably, the angle is just too steep.
If you don't mind the angle the build quality is good otherwise.
I ordered one of these. Will report back when I get it.

Isn't that the one that doesn't actually charge the phone, though?
It charges a separate battery, lying flat in the base. But the phone simply sits in the base. Seems mad to me.
Edit: Yup, doesn't charge the phone. More pictures here. Removed link as I wasn't sure if linking to a retailer was permitted. Is copying their images ok?
I remember having a very similar dock to that for the M2000 (htc blue angel), battery charged in the back, but you could plug a mini-usb cable in to charge the device as well.....
Thats a big step backwards!

Actually the body of the Vibrant and the i9000 is the same, so it wouldn't matter.
If it was slimmer like the "pebble" some phones have, than I would definitely consider it. But I'd prefer a small cord you can easily move to the side, rather than the mat. Plus, if your texting while charging and you prefer to actually hold your phone while texting, there would be a lot of "plugging/unplugging" so to speak. (Not literally plugging in, but you know what I mean. Lol).
it looks interesting i would buy it but i would have to see what people have to say first seems kinda iffy

They had this at walmart. Fits vibrant and galaxy s 4g. Was considering it but it adds some thickness to the phone so decided not to. Only $40 tho

A realy perfect Leather Case

from ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270831391457&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OC:AU:1123
review:
After my first disapointing buy from ebay i bought this "sexy"
synthetic leather case.
Its weight is 290 grams.
Is a very-very slim case and when it closed, the case is tightly fixed on the tablet.
It has 3 deep grooves for standing and the tablet is very stable in these positions.
The philosophy of this case is "to not hiding nothing from the tablet when you use it."
On the back side there is a gentle opening for the camera.
It smells like leather.
The close clip aplly a good force to keep the case closed.
Every button or socket of the tablet is accesible with closed case
And finally i am happy, and this is the most important
Looks good, does it have a typing angle? What is the name?
also are you able to charge the tab without having the case open? i have one such and i need to have my case open each time i charge which is a pain
This is maybe the case I'm looking for. Can you please share the name and the link for the case. Since you can't post links, replace for examples the dots of the url with spaces or some other characters.
Maybe this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320786081962#ht_2592wt_1165
You have to open the case when charging (if I remember right).
I bought this. Premium quality indeed.
EDIT:
cheaper one

I must say the case looks really nice!
I was wondering about the 3 viewing angles though - do they firmly support the Tab? Would hate to buy it and then find out it slips and falls out when I set it up on one of the angles (I saw that happen before...). Also, is it possible to use this case to prop your Tab up when you put it in your lap (in bed or something similar)? Or is it too flimsy?
And do you feel the extra weight when you carry the tab around? I really love how light it is right now, you don't even notice you have it in your bag (with the standard samsung pouch on) and it's really easy to hold it in one hand and typing with the other if you're walking around the house.

The gaps for the 3 viewing angles are deep enough, and yes you can use it in your lap, my wife do it often.

is still light it is just 290 grams more.
but if you want to use it with one hand, i think that the best way is
to hold it in portrait like a book because the total weight is about 850 grams

Isn't it the same size? If it is, it should fit... can't help you out there though as I have a 7500 one.
The same case, with a new name, posted once again in a new thread. This was $12 on amazon last week.
Really? I sure couldn't find it when I looked (didn't look really hard though)
Doesn't really matter though, if it's a good case I'm more then willing to spend $23 on it. The most basic samsung pouch costs 25€ (about $35) here :S.

For people trying to find one from the UK...
I purchased a look a like case from here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005ECHQ4C
I was struggling to find it as cheap as in the US for example.
The one from the above link, seem to be very good so far. All viewing angles work great, both on a flat surface and on my lap. The typing position is my most used.
'Leather' quality seems good so far. Of course it is going to add some weight, but not really an issue for me. ALL ports/buttons are fully accessible, inc charging when case is closed.
its a great case

I have no doubt that it is not an original Samsung battery but it has been good. I've used it a couple of times but my advice would be the anker battery seems to be better quality but I will do a side by side test when both have been charged and discharged five time. No I live in Canada as you can tell by my information, most of these are located in Hong Kong, and Korea the only one from Canada is the GLASt screen protector ( you could've also noticed that they are all form different sellers )
I noticed you bought 2 screen protector, a SGP glass & Bulletproofbrand. Do you use them both or just SGP one?
the Bulletproof SP looks interesting
Can you post pictures of the BULLETPROOF Screen Glass mounted on the phone?

I ordered both at the same time and got the GLASt first, so that is the one i currently have on. I received the bulletproof one about three days ago. It seems to be of good quality and maybe just a touch thinner. The only thing I noticed is that the white has a slight shimmer to it, like specks of glitter. The Glasst has been excellent and i have had it on for over two weeks and not a single scratch on.
Since I haven't yet installed the Bulletproof one its hard to recommend one over the other. If you want a nice invisible protector go for the Glasst but if you want something a little funky try the bulletproof. As for installation I can't comment but the Glasst was pretty simple. I have one small bubble that isn't noticeable.
I can post some pics if you would like of both of them. I'm just charging my camera
Some pics would be nice. thank you

Yep.. it's a bit bulky but to me it's even more ergonomic to hold the phone.. specially in landscape
So by the looks of this photo, it gives you an ADDITIONAL battery contained in this case. So does this effectively give you a 1650mAh + 2200mAh = 3850mAh battery ?

Yep.. If the phone is fully charged and I also turn on the case it won't consume the energy of the phone.. running on the battery of the case.. and when that's empty the battery of the phone kicks in..
When you don't use the phone and you turn on the case it will recharge the phone. When recharge completed the case auto turns off..
