Live Wallpapers - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

I'm looking for this traffic live wallpaper that this guy has on his SGS 2:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z70R7YIe_U4
Does somebody knows where to find it?
Whoops, never mind. Already found it
Maybe this thread can still be used for other live wallpaper questions etc.

So, where did you find it?
EDIT: Oh, now I see. I'm such an idiot.

live wallpaper and battary drainage
Has anyone information about live wallpapers. Do they drain battery more than a standing picture would do. And is that difference significant to give reason to start using ordinary photos instead.

Rhodium Pics

A mate of mine bought a rhodium and kindly uploaded pics, have at it
I must say, it's pretty damn sexual.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmnnn, that's one nice phone. Thanks for the pictures.
Dave
I should add... that friend is me .
If anyone has questions I'll be happy to answer.
Damn you Oli - looks pretty damn nice.
You happy with it?
Dave
NIIIIIICE pics !! thanks for the upload..
I've had a bit more of a play with the device and as a previous Blackstone owner (Touch HD), there are some pretty noticeable differences in the UI which I'd thought I'd share for those who are interested and havn't yet got their own to play with.
Firstly, the start menu has now been totally replaced with a HTC version, which can be disabled it seems by browsing this forum, but TF3D offers no in-built method to disable it which is kind of annoying (see attached image).
Secondly, the TF3D menu style is extended into almost all programs. For example even in file explorer, opening the standard menu from the soft key shows a 'finger friendly enlarged menu' (see attached image).
Also the Bluetooth UI is completely different (see attached image).
Also a welcome change from the Blackstone is vibration feedback when using the on screen keyboard, and it also shows a button preview above the buttons when pressed (similar to the iPhone). Although this will be less useful since the device has a full QWERTY keyboard, but I'm assuming the Topaz (Diamond 2) has the same feature improvements, so it will be a welcome change for users of that device.

Could you load Skyfire and see how it performs? Someone else mentioned that Skyfire was slow and i got the feeling that he just didn't want to do it.
How is the redraw in Opera, and most importantly how is the battery life?
Great pics
Thanks!
What does it use for a notification light on the front? I can't really find one...
I wanna ask, is there a proximity sensor or no? Cuz when reading some specs, some say it does have one, some don't say anything. The HTC website doesn't mention anything either.. So?
The more pics I see of the it , the better it looks! Can't wait to get it in the States!

Can you clarify what you mean by redraw? Do you mean when you scroll around and have to wait for the page to be displayed in the newly visible area? As for battery life, no idea yet sorry. Havn't done much testing in that area.

There aew two LED's on the top of the unit on either side of the speaker. The one on the left seems to indicate charge with an orange LED and notifications with a flashing green LED. Not sure what the other LED does yet (See attached image).

I can confirm there is. If I make a call and hold the phone to my head, the screen dims, when I bring it back down it comes to life again. Pretty cool .
What I will add though it the CorePlayer movie speed seems to be a bit better than the Touch HD (well from my experience anyway). I have only tried one 350MB TV Episode so far, but it managed 90.34% in a benchmark with a framerate of 21.7. Although there wasnt a lot of 'action' in my test video so it might be worse with other videos.
3g?
does the phone have 3g but for the US, specifically AT&T??, ohh and nice phone can't wait to buy it.

Sweetness. Doesnt seem as spiffy as the light on the Fuze, but good enough.
Thanx for the pic to BTW.

This is probably the ambient light detector for automatic control of LCD brightness under varying light levels.
I haven't seen the keyboard quite that close up before. Looks like there are Caps and FN LEDs at the top.
Thanks for the pics

There are two versions of the phone, one that supports 850MHz UMTS and one that does 900MHz UMTS.
My phone is the 900MHz version, which is what the networks in Australia use (EXCEPT for Telstra Next-G which is 850MHz in regional areas).
I 'THINK' the US uses the 850MHz UMTS band but since I don't live there, I can't really say for sure. But I do not know if the 850MHz version will be released at the same time.
would it be possible for you to take some pictures with the phone and some video so we can see the quality? Thanks!

I believe there's a sample video linked in the pocketnow full review--see quarintus' review thread in this forum for a link.
Well, when Olipro' mate has got this baby, we can expect Hard SPL on the way very soon.

Hero/EVO battery the same?

I know I read it somewhere, but, can't find it now.
I'm going a concert tomorrow in Charlotte (I live in VA) and I won't be able to charge my phone again until Sunday.
So, my question is : Are the HTC Hero and HTC Evo batteries the same? Meaning I could just use my old hero battery once the original died without issue?
Thanks guys

You're welcome. And yes, it's always better to be 100% sure on something. But yep, both batteries are identical. 1500mah, same size, same terminal configuration. You shall be good to go.

I have this one http://www.clove.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-nexus-case-mate-tough-case-black and the on/off key with the case is very sensitive to touch, so makes it very hard to synchronize the volume down+power in order to take the screenshots.Actually i already order another case from ebay

Big X Wallpaper

Might someone either share the wallpaper or help me find it. The one I am speaking of may or may not be exactly like the one that began when the original Nexus One was out, but it is very similar in the very least
It appears in ads, at the top of Android Central Forum when they advertise the GN.
It has a Black Background with the colored X. I am hoping to find not the original one, but with the higher res of the GN
I found one on DeviantArt but it appears to be a charcoal background
Thanks again

I'll have about 15 different options in my next wallpaper pack in my thread tomorrow. Just check back tomorrow evening and there should be plenty for you to choose from. If you don't see one you like, I can make some new ones.

I am very very thankful for anyone's help
That is the one I found on DeviantArt and to me, maybe I am seeing it wrong, the background looks grey, dull or washed out, not a vibrant or black black.
I will keep hoping. And again, I thank you for helping so far

Yeah it does looked washed out, how about this one?
Here you go, already cropped in 1440x128
You are way too kind working on this for me this time of night but again, thanks
Yes looks much better. I am only downloading it in a 640 x 400 resolution. Is it available in the screen res of 1280 x 720 or better yet the full wallpaper screen from one homepage to the last, 1440 x 1280 ( I think I have those numbers right. You would know better)
You beat me to it. Thank you very much PERFECT

Thanks, great review BTW. I'm 99% sure I'm going to get the Galaxy at some point but because of wanting the all black, I'll probably go for the 42mm.

I know there will be some but I'll have to take that over the 46mm color that I absolutely don't like at all. Why they dropped the all black is a mystery.
