Your kidding me right. Guitar hero 3 is all over the place and there are tons of games. Should we have a search lesson???
I know what you are talking about but it is not touchscreen...
P.S.
I already have it installed on my phone, but using the D-pad just ruins it.
to be entirely honest the Guitar hero 3 for phones sucks really bad.
Some decent games are pocketsand (if you like that stuff)
Bejewled 2
Peggle
Peggle actually works very well on the vogue, i recommend you try it
Gameloft makes games specifically for touch screen phones. I'd check those out.
Though, It sucks the way it is, I don't think there are any cool games out there for WM platform. : /
I downloaded Kaglom from windows mobile for free, it is pretty good.
I've played GH on a Titan and it is tactile...

Will gaming ever be optimized for the Snapdragon family?

Okay, I posted this elsewhere, but got amateur answers.
I came from the Palm Pre. Yes, so lovely to have games like Nova, Asphalt 5, and others running buttery smooth.
Now that I am using the Evo, I'm looking for a fix to my gaming needs.
I have Raging Thunder II. Works nicely (besides the 30fps cap... a gamer can tell)... and I'm about to buy Exzeus Arcade.
So I did some research.
Edit: Can't post links. Google "snapdragon qualcomm" and first link, go to video demonstrations.
That's what my phone is capable of. Wow, I'm thinking that this could be really good.
So the Snapdragons that N1, Incredible, and Evo have have the Adreno 200 GPU. Our phone can seemingly do a lot with that GPU.
My question is there are multiple benchmarks that have other GPUs kicking Adreno's butt. Specifically, the Droid (original), Samsung Galaxy, etc.
So a couple questions to people who have knowledge on this subject.
1. Can games be optimized for the Snapdragon family?
2. Is it hard to develop games for it? Do you see game developers porting and optimizing their games just for us?
3. Can we expect games up to par with other phones?
I tried playing Asphalt 5... lag like no other.
I e-mailed Gameloft and haven't gotten an answer back.
They have their own page for the evo (go to their website on your evo)...
I'm also asking cause there are a lot of people with N1's, Incredibles, and Evos... shouldn't game developers target them?
Also cause I wanted to game on this freaking large screen.
Alot of companies that develop games are starting to work with android alot more, and seeing it up to par with iphone and pre. Id say by xmas they will really be going strong, but by then the dual core snapdragons will be coming out, and they know this, so there will be something amazing coming for its release.
Also, some of those videos found on Qualcomm's Snapdragon page are from 2 years ago...
...
It makes me think ... what have they been doing for the last 2 years?
One bump... I guess no one knows too much about this.

[Q] How good is the A100 for Gaming?

Howdy all
Long time forum lurker here, never bothered of making an account.
But now I need to ask this, how good is the A100 for gaming? I can buy one really soon but I was reading reviews and apparently in the press release it is described as a "mom's" tablet.
The dual core and NVidia Tegra 250 + Small screen looks really good and I figured it should run games fine but I want people who own this tablet to let me know first how good it is. My main usage will be films and games, and I mean real games ie GTAIII, gangstar Rio, Asphalt, Modern Combat, ect.
Thank you all for your time and I wish you a good day!
- Noops.
I'm playing Ashpalt 6, Riptide GT, Cut the rope, Let's Golf 3, Road Warior. All of them running fine without glitches or lag.
Although Asphalt is not listed in the market like compatible with the device .
The device itself have some bug with the touchscreen sometimes, search this forum and you will find for what i'm talking about.I see it too but very rarely and only when typing.
For the movies 720p resolution is playable and is good looking on the device. The battery life is almost 4 hours without stop playing .Some people say that is a weak point but ... it's up to you to decide.
I agree, it can game just fine. I have not played Gta though. One Problem is a bunch of games aren't listed in the market, so you have to find the apk online and load it up. 720p runs awesome too.

Editing the build.prop to that of the A500 should make it work (and let it show up in the market).
i used this build.prop
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554259
and flexreaper rom but the game does not appear =(
All of the games that are actually compatible with it seem to run very well on it. Gameloft is finally putting some support on for this device; they have 15 games available for it now.
The hardware supports everything I've run on it well. When I think of a "Mom's tablet" I think Kindle Fire. This one is far more capable.

No problems then with sending the apks to your tab from phone? I thought about just using titanium and hoping that restores market links for updates

Gameloft has Ashalt 6 listed as compatible with the a100. I bought it from them back in January.

How can it be?
I managed to see asphalt changing the build.prop and i installed it. When the game tries to download the resources the first time it says the device is not compatible. This message comes up with both a500 and a100 build.prop.
So now what? (Is it possible this game is compatible with a100 depending on country? I know this is dumb but I can't see any other reason at this point)

Able to play THD games?

I was wondering if there was a way I could play THD (Tegra 3) exclusive games on my Note 2. I'm sure this phone is more capable than the Tegra 3, and I would love to play some of those games optimized for the quad-core chips. Also, is it possible to do this without root?
Not to be rude, but you answered your own question, can our phone play a tegra 3 game? by specs yes, but our chip is not tegra so it's a simple no

I know that there were tegra drivers that you could install on other devices to play tegra 2 games on non-tegra devices. I had my old epic touch rooted and playing THD exclusive games. I was just wondering if there was a work-around to get tegra 3 games to work on non-tegra devices as well.
Try chainfire 3d. Havent tried it on any tegrs 3 titles but it worked quite well on tegra 2 exclusives with my adreno phones. Dont know if its mali compatible. Would be a good report back for those smug posters that dont know about wrappers.

[Q] HTC M9+ GPU Performance

Does anyone have a M9+ here? And if yes, how are the games working on it? I've read people on this forum say that the GPU isn't great and it'll lag and stutter but I plan to buy a M9+ next so just wanted to know if anyone has the M9+ and has used it for gaming?
Thanks!
Here, second page of general section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/general/htc-one-m9-plus-vs-htc-one-m9-t3086491
Use search next time..
It runs games flawlessly.................................................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpUZvHa2reU
I'm not an avid gamer but I played few games like Brothers in Arms 3, Dead Trigger 2, Real Racing 3, Game of Thrones. etc. and they all are running smoothly on my M9+. No lag at all.
