May try tonight. Question though, how do you determine the "killer" battery life without having one?

LOL, its init.d lowmemkiller tweaks. They are pretty much universal. I have them in my ROM as well...

Im waiting on the notification power controls built in or ported. You have experience with that?
If that was implemented we could have a base rom with notifications to start with

ok, so ill start by saying this is not my work, and i have no affiliation with the dev, but i have been running this rom for the past 3-4 weeks without any hiccups what-so-ever and great battery life & performance, and figured id share the awesomeness with those who dont know about it. this rom is very fast, smooth, and very lightweight. a lot of the goodies have been left alone, including long-press back to kill foreground app! yippy! i didnt see any other threads on here, and figured id post this for the good of the n00b, like me. i have no dev skillz, so posting any questions or concerns in this thread is pointless.

[ROMS][BASES][25 DEC] Droid Razr | Xperia X10 | Sense 3.5 | MIUI 4.0 | MORE

**ABOUT THESE ROMS**
These Roms are basically all WIP. They are for any dev that wants to take them over. Im switching to the sgsII and trading my ns4g.. which means I can not work on these
THIS ALSO MEANS THAT I CANNOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT FOR THESE!!
Also MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
I thought of this as a big christmas present, or holiday present, for you guys out there. Its also kinda a farewell gift, so enjoy
any dev is encouraged to take these roms and fix them, just give credit if you re-post it
I will have the rom, the download, and a not working list for each port. I will not have updates for these, this is up to other devs.
Some of these may have weird updater scripts, I didnt check them before upload because I like surprises
***THE GOODS***
Droid Razr Port (2.3.6)
not working-
-data
-images are too big, need to be resized
-wifi, bluetooth ( I realized that i suck at these, you will see in the other lists )

You guys really want TouchWiz? It's terrible. I have an Epic and all we try to do is get rid of it. I guess TouchWiz 4 is ok though.
If you want something, you can flash this zip

That'll give you the launcher.
I have the epic touch and am using my nexus until they can get ics on it touch whiz isn't that bad but its bad enough for me not to want to use the best phone on sprint. Plus I got my galaxy nexus so that's holding me over for the mean time

Many (myself included) felt the same way about Sense. I HATED Sense with a passion when I had my Evo, but some people actually wanted it ported over to the nexus.
It's bizarre... those that have a bloated mess of a launcher/fork want vanilla or themed aosp - and nexus owners with vanilla aosp want the bloated Sense mess.

I personally just wanted something other than stock vanilla, miui, tweaked stock vanilla, cm7 vanilla, themed stock vanilla etc.. so I went for random things that maybe not everyone wanted really bad, like the droid razr port or sense 3.5.
I started to hate aosp on my nexus, it was the worst thing and i would have rather flashed froyo sense..

Usb.odex
MotoPhonePortal.apk

/system/lib/libmotocamera.so
/system/lib/libmotdb.so

Because theses files are motorola rom's files. And in my first release i missed to delete theses (my port is motorola droid 2 port)..
Moreover i've deleted Google Pyngnin from my rom and it is also not present in yours (strange oO)
I added to my rom "LatinIME.apk" and it is also present in yours...
And if someone wants to try, i think Market does not work... Because in my first release it did not.
Do you want others proof that is not your work ???

First release is only a few changes in build prop and boot IMG. Just getting it out for now while I work on some other things... Updates will probably be every few days at first after I add and test etc .. Also depending on when internet is available for uploading. Where I'm living ATM has ****ty dial up internet and tethering doesn't do much since signal isn't that great. I'm working on some additional tweaks and theming now to get it where I want it. I like to start out slow on a new device.

More and more Inc devs are popping up here and I love it! Welcome man. Be sure not to name the ROM anything offensive

Blast from the past !
Condemned ! Wow - what's going on ?! Do you rermember me ~> think waaay baaack to .... the Droid Eris & TazzFroyo/GingerTazz .... does that jar any recollection ?
You were just starting to dev (I think you were working on porting Evervolv ?) when I finally HAD to leave the killer, trendsetting Eris for a Samsung Fassy (w/ a cracked screen) - I couldnt believe how much difference the 1GB of RAM made in comparsion back then. I lmao just thinking of the GNEX performance/customization compared to the lowly Droid Eris
I suffered through the irritating cracked screen Fassy issue just waaaiiitinng for the GNEX to eventually drop - I havent looked back since Nov. 2011
WELCOME to the wonderful world of "The Toro" :good:

I do remember you..... From the days of way back... before I was constantly getting in trouble and offending people lmmfao! How you been homie?
Got everything set up and it's all nice and smooth. Kinda nice to be back on an AOKP rom. I like all the options. I like that Tiny's kernel is built in. That's the one I always flash anyways.

In my experiences you can't go wrong with Tiny's kernels and when given the option I'll always use his
