[Port][ROM]MT4G_Desire_HD_Gingerbread_v0.2][2.3.2][released]

This is the rom raffyvitto ported for the mt4g, i posted it here to get more people to know about it, if any mod feels this is not right feel free to remove the thread.

Note: Guys this is a test release leak meaning its not a final ROM by HTC, so its not as stable as ah shipped BUT most thing works as they should, tho u might expirience some random issues like rosie reloading and stuff like that, its can be a daily driver if you can bare with its issues =]

It is at least 2.3.0 Gingerbread Framework based...
The Sense UI/Framework is Sense 2.1, which is the newest Sense from HTC...

This Rom runs really good. I think I'm going to keep it on my phone.

Mine wont go beyond the MyTouch4G screen, just sits there...

[ROM][7/11/2011] Virtuous G-Lite v1.0.3 :: Gingerbread AOSP HTC/G2 base 2.13.531.8

G-Lite is a departure from other Virtuous ROMs in that it is effectively AOSP and designed to be lightweight, yet functional. If you find yourself discarding most of the features of Sense in favor of specific apps of your preference, this ROM is for you. Don't expect anything too fancy.
Features
Supported on the G2 and DesireZ only.
Minimalistic, lightweight ROM with +200MB of memory free at startup.
Extremely battery efficient (best of any G2/DZ ROM I have used to date).
Based on Vision_Gingerbread_S_TMOUS_2.13.531.8, which is effectively AOSP.
All device hardware fully functional, including wifi, bluetooth, camera, camcorder, etc.
Kernel 2.6.35.10 Vision Gingerbread kernel. Do NOT use AOSP kernels with this ROM (i.e. Pershoot, Cyanogen).
Market-sourced applications (Gmail, Maps, Voice, etc) automatically installed on first boot into /data/app for easy removal.
Basic visual enhancements to notification bar, icons and pulldown menus to eliminate green indicators in favor of white.
Replaced stock Gingerbread launcher with LauncherPro.
Wifi calling and Swype conditionally installed for T-Mobile USA users. If your carrier licenses Swype for your DZ, let me know and I will adjust the installer.
Bloatware and unnecessary applications removed.
Additional notifications and ringtones added from Sense.
Massive APNS list.
Rooted, deodexed and zipaligned (should be assumed with all ROMs but people ask so I mention it anyway).

Nope it doesn't work how do I do logcat I'm sry I haven't done that I think its a netflix issue a lot of ppl can't get it to work on their rooted phone with gingerbread.
Side note was hoping this would have stuck with the 2g/3g/4g that was like that in stock rom no big deal but hey rmk nice work great stuff man like ur roms alot

Thanks rmk! Been finding myself wanting something lighter and lighter. Been running virtuous 1.0.2 for awhile, then been runnin' your gb sense rom currently. Liked fusion a lot but waiting for it to be ironed out, not to mention how huge it is.

im looking for a rom with lots of eye candy..i tried merge but i didnt like the 2.2 lockscreen and i couldnt change it for some reason...anyone have any other ideas

Use widget locker to change the lockscreen.
If you want a different ROM with eye candy try Swagged. I've never tried it myself but it's supposed to be a pretty popular ROM with aesthetic tweaks.

If you want eye candy and speed check out Sinister's new release Sinister ROM RLV9 it is supposed to be really stable and just about EVERYTHING is working. If you like a good snappy sense ROM, I am in love with the Prime XL 3D ROM, which has Beats Audio and Sense 3.5. It is super responsive and has so many features and goodies your jaw will drop. I love the 3d animations on the home screen, native Power+ home screen shot, prime tweaks, and all the other 3.5 goodness.

Blazing Roms Hybrid 1.1 started off buggy, but it seems like the ROM is settling in now that I've had it for a day and is pretty sweet.

Flyer express 4g has some resizing issues but soon to be a daily

click on the link in my sig, it has all the updated aosp roms/kernels and it has descriptions to all of them

ill check a couple of them out i used cm7 for a little bit but for some reason i like the "sense" feel

Try evolved recharged rom. Very sleek. I downloaded a few other skins for it as well ads a font pack. He also posted some more themes for it to.

How is the battery life with this kernel? OC and lagfree sounds like it could drain the battery incredibly fast. I had that problem already. Otherwise I can't wait to try it as soon as the screenshots are up Also, does Titanium restore work? Didn't work for me on some 2.3.6 stock ROMs

It has perfect battery life and just try it its worth it ule see and screenshots wont be up for another hour sorry

Now I'm gonna be completely blunt on this. I do not want a bunch of posts on camera issues blah, blah, blah. Unless you have a fix or can help. I don't want to see post saying it won't boot. If it doesn't boot for you then you did something wrong. I will not answer questions on the rom if you don't do a full complete wipe and don't produce a logcat. Just be thankful we have nice, responsive ics roms out there. I know we want everything perfect and every dev is trying to produce that but do not come at me with comments mentioned above. My port was built by rasroygbiv, using aospX's last Alpha release as a base (if I recall) and used ICI Build 32/34 as its porting base. I'd suggest using the builds I make off of existz source. They don't have some of the older ICS bugs.

Will this rom support wificalling?

Got really excited about this rom, ram it for a whole 5 minutes, couldn't take how unbearably quiet everything was. I've had this issue in almost every aosp/aokp rom I try and some gb roms even...I'm not talking just quiet, I'm talking needing to hook my phone into the stereo in my truck and turn it up to 50 to get what should be normal ringtone level :-( I need my audible alerts loud and so far nothing is working without having to be hooked to external speakers :-(

Yeah, 0.0's flashable Wifi Calling zip works with most (if not all) the current ics roms for this phone.

Only AOSP/AOKP ROMs. Elgansk8er or whoever made it for Sense.

I'm on the xperia side of this rom, and sound is all good. Even after I added beats.
Something is wrong with foxxx5oh's MyTouch, rather than it having anything to do with this ROM

I guess no one reads the whole op. If you experience any audio problems then flash the speaker fix I linked in the first post. It fixed it for me.

Ive read the OP lol, but this has nothing to do with your port, regardless if foxxx5oh flashes the fix.
