Blackstone language change!!!!!!!!urgent!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to buy Touch HD but in Switzerland.
Is it posiblle to change a language from german to english without loosing a garantie???
HTC ROOLESSSS!!!!!!!
You can learn in this forum how to flash an English ROM on your HD, but for service/warranty you will have to flash back your Swiss language ROM (GER/FR/IT) before sending it back. You can download your original ROM also from this forum. So if you get a good deal buy your HD!

[Q] Best custom rom for Wildfire with croatian language support

I would like to know if there is some custom rom that has croatian language support, I mean that the hole android interface is in croatian language. If this kind of rom exists I would be very gratefull if someone could put links through which i could download rom and if you could explain me how to install that rom. Btw. I have Froyo 2.2 installed on my HTC Wildfire
Hi mate if you already bought your phone with froyo 2.2,then you won't be able to install custom rom's.you'll need to root your phone if you want to install custom rom's and android 2.2 froyo hasn't been cracked for the wildfire. Your gonna after wait for it to be cracked.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
yeah, I read about that and it is not a problem, I will wait until someone crack's froyo for wildfire. But im interested in custom rom that has croatian language support because official rom doesnt have that. I found some roms like cyanogenmod that have 50+ languages but I couldn find the list of supported languages.
The interface is not translated, but you can get locale strings in your native language. E.g. „petak“ instead of „friday“ in your Calendar app. You can see in the attached image Calendar app in Serbian.
„Bolje išta nego ništa“
thats no good for me. I would like find some rom that could have bosnian or croatian or serbian but in latin writing so I could give my wildfire to my dad and take his Iphone4. He doesnt know english so android is no good for him.
i need custom rom with croatian language... did u have any luck finding it yet ?
and one off-topic question: inside that htc is android version 2.2.1, does this mean i can't root phone? :/

Najbolje ti je rootat mobitel i instalirat cyanogenmod 7.1 i na njemu imas hrvatski.
Evo ti link pa ako hoces na cyanogenmod skini najnoviji file.

Enjoy!
Thanks for the rom mate, Is this one better than 1.30.401.0 rom?
Stock Europe ?
Sent from my HTC A510e using Tapatalk
Yes, it's the one I use on my Wildfire S and I live in France.
Is it really worth ?
Sent from my HTC A510e using Tapatalk
I've noticed that this Rom has a bug which keeps redownloading the last thing you downloaded everytime you reboot, 1.30.401.0 is free from the bug.

I had [ROM release] Wildfire S small Leizi 8-24-11 running and installed this one [ROM]RUU_Marvel_HTC_Europe_1.33.401.2_Radio_47.10.35.30 29H_7.46.35.08_release ... Then i lost my Recovery access...
Any ideia ?
Due to the 1.33.401.2 bug, I downgraded my Wildfire with 1.30.401.0 version.
It seems that the 1.30.401.0 ROM is smoother and faster than the 1.33.401.2 one.
Now, I will test the battery autonomy.
Was this rom (1.33) installed on your phone when you have purchased it?
I maybe want to downgrade my phone to make it faster. And I hate also that bug.
You don't need root to put this rom on your phone?

About the original ROM: Both have the download bug !
About the speed: This last update is much more smoother and stable.
About the root: We all need root acess to live
I can confirm that the 1.30.401.1 Europe Rom does NOT have the download bug, I've been using it for about a week and I have had no problems at all.
does anybody knows if this rom contains italian language? Thanks

Yes, but even that you can not see it. There is like that, that some CID numbers are stricly connected to some regions of the world.
For example Phone buyed in UK will dont have Polish language (available from list), even that - that same Phone buyed in Poland, with that same firmware, will have diferent languages (list of).
Solution for that is SuperCID using XTC Clip or use MoreLocale2 from android market.
so my polish phone remains like this with english language, and I'm losing my time tryng to change it in italian phone. If I find an italian rom, like tim, maybe something can change?
morelocale2 is not god for my phone,it change just a little thing

No, you get it wrong.
If you put this ROM (with contains Italian language), even you will not have it on list to choice, this language is still in your phone.
Then with MoreLocale2 you choice your language, and this program will in first place use build in language (that is in WWE rom), and you will get all translated.
If you run MoreLocale2 on ROM that doesn't contains your language (regionalised ROM), it will use his (program) translation, with is rubish.
So, put WWE rom (this on forum) and even if you will not see your language on list to choice, using MoreLocale2 you wil force to use build in Language.
In my Desire Z works just like that, becouse even using XTC Clip, I don't have full language list, even in ROM are all. In other two phones, using XTC Clip I'm see whole list.

[Q] System And Keyboard Languages ?

Hi there!
well, i don't have a motorola defy, but my sister is gonna have one soon, and we're kinda worried. my sister isn't exactly that good at foreign languages, and won't accept anything else than danish (our native language).
we ordered it from a site that apparently shipped it from uk or something, and it didn't say anything about supporting danish- can anyone tell me if it supports danish out of the box, or if we have to update it ? i'd really appreciate it, and so would my sister
You have to give us the mod version in settings>aboutphone. Without that, we can't give you an answer...
So, you ask it to vendor or you're ready to flash Defy with our advices when you'll receive it in case you'll not have danish language.

Is there any way we can find out without opening the box ? it's because the site that we ordered from have a bad return policy, or else i just misinterpreted something. and i don't know if we can return it :/ (it's an online retailer)
Yes, on the Defy box, normally there is a sticker with the phone identification (IMEI, ...). And there is a table with countries where device may be operated, so languages of these countries are included.
On the site it said that it supports english, german, spanish, french. But that's with android 2.1. Does 2.2 have danish as default?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Can someone PLEASE tell me, if it supports danish after updating it to android 2.2 ? quick reply would be greatly appreciated !
Probably not; if danish language isn't supported by this Eclair version, no chance in official Froyo update...
But, after backuping initial ROM (for guarantee, in case...), you can flash with 3.4.2-177 Nordic Froyo (very good ROM), it has danish !

Flash different region rom (need different languages)

Hello Android people! Im sorry if my question is somehow stupid, I dont know anything from Android devices.
A friend of mine asked me to get him a phone. We are in Scandnavia which means there are Scandinavian languges + WWE on the device. He would like to get Dutch or German language, so I thought I just flash a new rom. I downloaded an official European rom but the languages stayed the same.
What am I missing here?
Did ya try going into settings/ language & keyboard? Change language there
