SGP STYLUS+Case - Galaxy S II Accessories

I just found company for accessories named SGP.
Googled them and found out they are good, but i Have few questions:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SAMSUNG-GALAXY-...ccessories&hash=item3a66996f8e#ht_12974wt_905
some one knows the quality of this? does it protects well when the device falls?
also this stylus, how sensitive is it? I'm bit afraid of stylus now because last time I bought one..well I had to press like on 90's resistive touch..
http://www.sgpstore.com/etc-accesories/sgp-stylus-pen-kuel-h10-series.html#t_features
Thank you!

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1026482
you can find info on the case in there. I have the SGP Silke version but it has been picking up too much dust so I decided to order the black & white version of the Capsule after reading reviews from the thread listed.

well thank you for the quick reply.
looks like I chose a great product!
what about the stylus? is it good quality?

I can't comment on the stylus because I don't use one but I might end up getting this because I got one for my mom & she loves it. Works great & you can plug into the speaker slot.

Video Review: Otterbox Commuter Series Case For Galaxy S2!!!

Hey guys,
Super excited to bring you the full review of the Otterbox Commuter series case for the Galaxy S 2. This case met and exceeded my expectations, definitely recommended. It is super protective, clean and feels great in the hand. You can watch the full review below:
nice review mate (yet again) you are a good talker on camera do you do them off the cuff 1st time or is there much editing
about the case , i think i prefer the casemate tough . same sort of style case yet doesnt seem to have as much silicone exspsosed to attract dust and also seems to fit a bit tighter to the handset then the otterbox .
The top bit that wont lay flat would annoy me like it did you so thanks for pointing that out .
nice review mate keep them coming

Many thanks for the compliments. I usually make a mistake here and there but nothing major, if you look at some of my older videos you will see it's just a matter of keeping at it and practicing haha.
I've got a Tough for the HTC Sensation and I can relate to what you mean, the Tough seems to cover up more of the Silicone, however the only thing I'm not a big fan of is that the Tough leaves the bottom portion very flimsy.
Thanks again, more videos to come!
wow mate keep up the videos, love the content, thanks
I actually don't have the raised silicone at the top that you complained about. It may be because your phone is White and modded that its dimensions differ from the original galaxy s2

Someone commented stating that as well, it may be because I have an SGP Glas screen protector which adds some thickness.
I have the same issue, and it doesn't have a screen protector.
This case is perfect without the front silicon.

Thanks for letting me know that. I was starting to think it was my SGP Glas but now that you're experiencing it, perhaps some cases have their silicone a little more stretched than others.
FYI, some people were wondering if/when Otterbox would release their Defender series case; my contact said this:
Also, to the best of my knowledge, we will only be making a Commuter Series for the Galaxy S II, not a Defender Series as well. Sorry to disappoint. If that changes I will let you know.

Hi Ploone,
Awesome reviews you do here! Glad to see you like your Otterbox case as much as I do. One thing your review doesn't cover (it didn't really need to) is the included screen protector. Here is my short review of that:
The included protector appears to be there for the sake of being there. It isn't sticky, which is about the only pro I can think of. It is a fingerprint magnet. It's finish is one that not only do fingerprints look awful when the screen is off, but actually interfere with the colours of the screen when it is on, mostly when viewing lots of white. It is hard to tell if it is interfering with my touchscreen, I really do think that it has affected sensitivity just a bit, but that could be a placebo.
All in all, if you are cheap and anal (like me), you will find yourself using it because it was "free" with the case. I do want to look into getting an SGB Glas protector, but don't want to spend another $35 on that, and then get a 32gb class 10 microsd at another $70+ lol this phone is costing me too much money!!!
Or maybe I'll live with it as is

Hopefully Trident Cases makes one, they usually take their time to release a case (as they did with the Nexus S) but they are good quality and I've been pleased with their products.
Thanks for the nice review. IMHO the Case-Mate Box is probably better as the four corners of the SGS-2 are protected by the hardcase as well. The Otterbox seems to protected the corners only with the silicone parts.

Galaxy Note Flip Cover

Hey there,
does anyone know a good alternative to the horrible original Galaxy Note Flipcover? Mayone one made of real leather?
I really hope there's any good version of this great case type!
Hope for your numerous answers!

I don't know if it's good or not, but I've found something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=UG&feature=related&hl=en-GB&v=LGBDcRWykc0 and this http://www.mytrendyphone.com/shop/samsung-galaxy-n7000-69177p.html
At least those give a bit of protection to the back of the phone and corners.
UPDATE: Someone was asking on forum for these http://www.amazon.com/Zenus-Masstig...JX4O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1337029406&sr=8-1

And here are many to chose from http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias=mobile&field-keywords=n7000+flip
This looks like some better quality leather you asked for http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-GT-N70..._1_6?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1337029880&sr=1-6

Hi,
thanks for your answers!
Yes, these flip covers look good, but the original one has a must have feature for me: It replaces the battery cover so it doesn't make the phone thicker and keeps its great look and feel.
I suppose there's no battery cover replacement flip cover in good quality anywhere out there?
Cheers,
Aryana

OK, I don't take responsibility for this as I still don't recommend those type of cases (less material, less protection ) but on the picture it looks like what you are looking for. It says it's aluminum so should be better it terms of durability, but I don't know if it won't reduce your signal strength a bit.

It doesn't look like PU leather, more like some kind of carbon/textile. That seems to be awesome!
Now I just have to think about if I take this one or the one suggested in the kick stand thread. Great!
Cheers,
Aryana
P.S.: I don't like big cases like silicone bumpers or bags or something like this. I just trust in my ability to handle my phone without letting it fall to the ground. That worked with other phones for years, so I take the risk.

Yup, the one from Anymode looks really nice. But you will probably have to wait a few days or maybe weeks until it's available outside Korea (or you can try buy it from their website, I don't speak Korean so I can't help you with that). And it won't be cheap as I suppose it won't be less than $50-$60 without shipping.
UPDATE:
Here you go http://www.exportprive.com/en/galax...stand-folio-case-series-crocodile-black-.html
(I don't if the the seller is trustworthy, it's for you to decide)
But this case actually makes the phone a few millimeters thicker, so you should think again what's your priority. High quality looks or phone slimness.
Oh no, that's too expensive for me. Not bad at all, so my decission was easy!
I just ordered the Flipcover that you suggested for 20$. I hope I will receive it in May and give feedback after I got it!

Yes there is. Check out Amazon uk. Samsung have a lizard leather flip case. Much stronger than original flip. I have had it for approaching a month now and no sign of wear. At it is thicker than original, it takes a little bit more pressing down on the back to secure it. But once it is on, it does the job of protection, looks stylish and professional. I have photos of it in the 'post your case' thread if u r interested
Holy moly, in my opinion that "lizard"-style leather is ugly!
Thanks for your answer, everybody who loves this leather style will love this case too! But that's nothing for my sense of style.
If they produced this flipcase with "normal smooth" leather...
Anyways, I'm waiting for my blue flip case from Hongkong which is already on its way to me. Hopefully that's good quality, than it's perfect for me.

Wow, it just arrived. Unbelievable fast, I thought I would be very lucky if I get it next Friday.
My first thoughts are very positive: It fits perfect and feeld high quality.
The Flip gives a good protection, it's very strong. The battery cover is a bit thicker than the original one, so it protects the camera lense but doesn't make the phone bulky.
Two little disadvantages: It smells quite bad, but I believe in a week the stink is gone. And the back is very smooth, even a bit slippery. The plastic texture of the original had more grip, but it the aluminium looks simply great. So that's ok.
I'm very happy with it!

Congrats on your case!
I am not sure if the seller is trust worthy either, but does anyone know if the
Anymode Case Galaxy Note Stand Folio Case Series from ExportPrive would work on the SGH-I717 or is it just for the International Note?
Edit:
Also Found it on Amzon for $85
Edit 2:
Ater some google-fu on the case and exportprive, I went ahead and ordered it. Apparently the case is made for the Japanese model of the Galaxy Note, so it does have the NFC antenna on the battery cover of the case (I have the SGH-i717) . The only foreseeable downfall I see is that it doesn't snap on properly, that would hurt. But for $63 including shipping, I say it is worth the risk considering I fell in love with the anymode case at&t sells, but thought it was to pricey for a brick&motor store to sell. Now I will get a kick stand plus earpiece cut out! Will update when I receive it.
"Genuine" Samsung flip cover
Hello Friends.
I intend on purchasing a genuine Samsung flip cover (white) for my Galaxy Note (ceramic white).
I had a look on Amazon UK and for illustrative purpose I have posted the link below.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Fli...D4TM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338410191&sr=8-1
The product is Samsung Flip Cover for Galaxy Note - Blue by Samsung. Considering it has by Samsung displayed on the link, is it safe to presume it is a genuine Samsung product?
I ask the above because the Samsung UK website does not have any cases/covers listed under the Accessories category.
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/mobile-phones/accessories
@Aryana90 do you mind posting some pics of the cover on your phone? Is it a replacement back cover, like the "genuine" cover?
The genuine cover (in YLNdroid's post) is a lovely fit, but probably isn't great for long term use, a lot of people complain that it wears out quickly. But it only adds about 1.5mm to the phone, so that's very attractive.
V
Yes, it is a replacement back cover. I think it adds not more to the phone than the original cover, but seems to be better quality. And looks amazing in blue!
I try to make some pictures this evening and will post it here.

Aryana90, is the said cover you purchased as good as the "genuine" one? Does it have Galaxy Note inscribed on the front and Samsung inscribed on the rear?
If so, where can I get one in white colour? I have a ceramic white Galaxy Note.
I apologise for sounding a bit too paranoid perhaps! With all due respect, I do not want a sub-standard case/cover for my Galaxy Note.

Video Review: SGP/Spigen Ultra Nano Clear Screenshield

Hey fellas,
Finally got my hands on the SGP/Spigen Ultra Nano Clear screen protector. I know a lot of you were interested in this particular protector so I wanted to bring this review/install to you all. As you can see on the video, installing it is pretty simple. Although it is cut short of the edge, the fit is great and the clarity is unrivaled. This looks almost invisible! The down side is you won't get as much protection as the Flex HD, though.
Check out the full review below for more info:
thanks for sharing
Thanks for reviewing this, and the Flex HD. The Otterbox Commuter is a bit delayed and I'm quite curious if its front lips would cover right till the edges of the Ultra Nano Clear or maybe overlap it by a bit. Also curious to know if the case would have conflict with the Flex HD's edges.

I haven't used it yet (but am getting it in soon). From my experiences using it on the Galaxy Nexus, One X & Galaxy S II - I don't think it would cover exactly up to the edges of the Nano Clear, but pretty close to it. This is just estimation but I think there would be a very slight gap left.
The silicone would have conflict with the Flex HD's edges, but not in a completely negative way, it is not as if the screenshield would be damaged. The only thing I see occurring is that the silicone would be pushed up slightly as the Flex HD would dig in underneath.
Not exactly sure when Otterbox will send out my review sample, but as always, keep posted to the channel or the forum and I'll have a video up as soon as I can!

Video Review: Diztronic Matte Black TPU Case

Hey fellas,
Today I'm reviewing a classic case, the Diztronic matte black TPU case. Affordable and reliable clearly describe this case. It is a simple TPU case that features a matte black coating while keeping a slim and streamlined form factor. Fits great on the device while staying comfortable to hold. Offers great scratch protection but only minimal drop protection.

For an inexpensive case I think its fine. The novelty of having a stylus is a bonus. There are other hybrids out there for less if you keep looking. This one while lacking the color you may be interested in, would be another option.

I have that case, the paint has already begun chipping off the edges of the grill and there is a crack by the charging port after about a month of use.
i have that style case. i like the bulged up corners which protects great in falls, and the lip is pretty good sized amount so if it falls face down it doesnt really scratch. i put it in my pocket and it doesnt slip off due to the hard case around the rubber. i do recommend it. i got this case to match my grabber blue mustang gt
