Program menu goodies? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Anybody have any program menu goodies to suggest tweaking? I've already been in to change the vocoder like I did on my previous Droid. But anything else?

I think it's just standard options.

How do you change the softkeys in messaging program?

I'm looking for a way to change the softkeys when in messaging. I've seen apps that will change the keys on the today screen, but not to change the keys in other programs.
In Messaging, one key is Delete, the other is Menu.
When I had WM5, they were New(message), and Menu. If you know how to change it back in WM6, please let me know. Thanks.
i want to know too
Try AE Button Plus. It has an option to do what you guys are asking. I don't think you can customize it to each app though. Basically if you assign an app or apps to launch from button 1, it will be the same in whatever app you're in.

I think it needs some tinkering in the registry. We need to find the ID of the soft-key, and the ID of the New Message function, then bind them together. How I'm going to do that, I don't know yet...

WM65 rearranging items in Start Menu (all Programs list)?

Apologies if this is addressed already somewhere. I searched for "rearrange" and did not see something which looked like what I'm asking.
I would like a tool (or failing that, just the registry or file magic) to rearrange Start menu (all Programs list) items in WM65. I'm running a Dutty Holy Grail ROM on my Topaz, withOUT HTC Sense.
The only rearranging option I see is "Move to Top" and "Move Down" when right-clicking on items in the Start menu, and that's sort of like a Rubik's cube - possible to get right, but waaaay too much work :-}
Thanks for your suggestions,
Jay
Since build like month or month a half back you should be able to "right click" and move it just where you want.
This is what you're looking for!
Not a sorter, a way to manually set icons/programs in whatever order *I* want
the "Start Menu Sorter" app is not at all what I'm looking for. It only does a sort (alphabetic?) of its own design.
What I'm looking for - sorry if I wasn't clear before - is something to allow me to rearrange the icons in the Start / Programs folder in any way that I want to. Ideally this would be a drag-and-drop interface, but frankly a Registry key or System file which identifies the order in which all of the registered programs appears would be okay, as it isn't the sort of thing I expect to edit often.
Any other ideas please?
Thanks.
Try this one http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=68864. This gives you full access, havent tried it myself, but going to today (if I can find the time). Looks like it may still be in Beta, but better than what we currently have!
This might also help.
reSTART seems to do the trick!
The reSTART applet does seem to do the trick, thanks.
The JSPA applet I had already tried - it actually does not seem to have any way to move menu items around, though when I read the web pages about it I also got the impression that it was supposed to do so.

[Q] anyone know how to make a Fpse homescreen shortcut that directly loads a game?

Hi all,
i've scoured both the net and forums for the answer to this;
basically i'd like a link to say MGS on my homescreen, similar to what the 4droid emulators do, but using fpse. Has anyone managed to do something like that? had a quick look at the fpseCE forums but it wasn't much help; i know that apps like bettercut can create custom shortcuts with the option to add (what i believe to be) parameters... no clue how to go about loading a game though.
im bumping this as i would like to know if this is possible also
Maybe tasker can do it
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
wahey! i couldn't believe i was the only one that was after this functionality!
I haven't got tasker, but if it's anything like bettercut (lists of 'actions' from applications) i'm leaning towards a no. Anybody got this that could give it a go please?
any solution for this yet?
RE
The feature was listed in the change log of a recent release.
Something like. 0.11.26 or so.
I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, though.
I don't see it in my widget screen like the other emulators...
yep it was introduced a while back; there's a "create shortcut" command somewhere in the menus. it'll create a shortcut and add it automatically to ur homescreen =]

Click to collapse
Yup, enter a game, press the menu button, go into settings, misc, create shortcut. It's the 2nd to last option
too bad i cant use it with desktop virtualizer.

Custom apps in Quick Actions - like OneDrive?

Is it possible to get into the registry and select which apps to add to Quick Actions? I would like to add OneDrive and other apps, beside the typical system functions there.
The problem is, I'm not sure where to look for this. Has anyone achieved this before?
Yes,me. Change the uri.
ms-onedrive:
Restart the phone after.
ms-settings: is the "All Settings icon, presumably?
How do I find the icon for OneDrive?
Dont know, change the uri with one of these: HKCU\Software\Classes.

Edit Share Menu

Edit Share Menu
All,
How can I edit the apps which appear in the share menu? They are never in the same order and cluttered with apps I don't ever intend to share with. The "pin" option doesn't work any longer.
Am I missing something simple?
well, sheep ****
