Inc2 dock - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I've been dying to have an Oem dock that would work with a case but none of them do. Would the Inc2 fit in any of the Thunderbolt docks with a case? I hate having to take off the case to use them.
Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk

That's doubtful. The Inc 2 is way slimmer. You might try finding an Inc S dock though since they're basically the same phone. Might be hard to find though since Inc S is from Europe.

I have seen many Incredible 2 docks the reason I want a thunderbolt dock is because the Thunderbolt is larger and may have room on the dock for inc2+ case

i just boutght one of these http://www.arkon.com/ when i had my MyTouch3G/Dream. The one that hooks up to the bottom of the passenger seat. Just kept using it for the new phone. Their generic and i think they work well.
I'm hoping ProMount get a holder for the 4G soon - I love their dash mounts.
Just saw the Official Desk Dock. Very sexy. They said it would be available some time december.

Did he/she say anything about a car dock??
They were not displaying it. I didn't have time to ask. They were taking to others about Windows7 phones.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk
Hopefully the Car Dock will secure the MT4G phone just as well as the Nexus One dock does. The charging contacts on the side will mean that you can just put the phone in the dock (which is attached to charging) so you will not have to attach anything to the phone.
But....if the desktop dock blocks access to the USB (being on the same side) then data access will not be available on this phone while docked (just like the Nexus One).
Keeping my eyes peeled for anything at T-Mobile or ShopAmerica.HTC.com
Do we know for sure that you cant transfer data through the docking pins?
a hard car dock + an app like dynolicious would be killer!
Car Dock
These come up on the t-mobile website. I hope a better one comes out soon.

I have that 'myTouch car holder' one. It's meant for the original myTouch, and it kinds of sucks. It holds the phone just fine, and it's easy to adjust; however, the clamps have about .05mm of clearance between constantly holding the camera shutter button down, or constantly holding the Volume Down key. Really annoying.
Also, T-Mo opted to not include landscape support into the entire OS! So when you try to use the phone while running Navigation, your contacts are still sideways. So dumb...
I hope they really knock it out of the park with the GPS cradle. The Desktop Dock is kind of a disappointment / nothing super fancy.
http://www.clingo.com/car-mounts/universal-hands-free-mount I bought this off of Amazon for 19.99 back when I had my G1, it works very well but I get nervous everytime I pull my phone off because of the removable back, I might just buy another battery cover to permanently stick onto the dock and just pop it out and go
Nice find friend. Can you post a video of the device?
I bought the Arkon's SM325-S originaly. I switched holder with the
SM050-2 recently for the look. It's pretty snug, a little tight with the snap-on cover.

Why?..... a friend of mine has one and he likes it. Do you have one?

Do you like your OEM dock?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
That auction says "like new" condition. It does appear to be the OEM dock though.
I just got an OEM dock off eBay that came on Tuesday. It is a little goofy to use, not really a one handed in and out kinda deal for me yet but I do love it already. Mine was about 42 shipped with a Cigarette adapter. I think the adapter was used (or just oolllddd stock) but the base was brand new. Bulk Packaging.
Main downside .. I just had to spend 70 bucks on a Bluetooth headset! (ok didn't have to, but why have a car dock without hands free).
I have this one. Very useful. Works great

I've got an OEM Car kit and Love it main reason i have not bought a powermat because of wanting to use the dock.

can you link to the one you purchased?
I received my car dock today and its definitely the HTC car dock its identical to my friends that he paid $60 for. Came well packaged not in original packaging . Very happy with it now I just have to wire it in so I don't take up my cig lighter spot anymore. Also have to wire in my new Belkin Bluetooth audio receiver.

I say, just buy a cheap one universal dock. I bought this one from TJ Maxx for $8. Mostly because it fits any size phone and leaves the ports open on the evo. The OEM one wont fit a phone with a case.

Compatible accessories?

Does the Inc2 use the same plugs for the charging port and other stuff like that? I'm on the dinc and I am deeply considering upgrading to the sequel before the 7th.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA Premium App
I can only assume you meant to compare with the Dinc as you mentioned that after the sentence using a comparison with nothing else I don't know what the Dinc has so maybe someone else can answer that part.
The I2 has a microUSB port for charging and data, and a 3.5mm audio/mic port.
Yea. Sorry if the question wasn't worded clearly. Lol. I was meaning to compare it to the original Inc.
The incredible 2 is both taller, wider, and thicker than the incredible. Not by a lot, but maybe enough that a dock wouldn't work. The microUSB is on the same side, so it is possible that if you have an extra tenth of an inch in your dock that it might work.
*Note: I never had a Dinc, the Dinc2 is my first HTC phone. I am going on comparing pictures and dimensions given by HTC.*
It's important to note that the usb port on the incredible 2 is flipped compared to the port on the original incredible. Have both in front of me and I just discovered this.
So a cradle/dock for the incredible 2 WILL NOT work with the original.

Verizon Nexus Accessories, can anyone use these?

I had a verizon nexus two phones ago and i am going through my desk drawer of random electronics, i have two batteries and the micro-usb stand alone charger that chargers one battery at a time, i have a brand new back cover for the phone and the black two piece belt clip holster (holds phone screen in often called clam shell) and they are of no use to me, i could problably sell them for a couple bucks but then i thought someone here could use them. Both batteries have only been charged a few times, i could not deal with the radio issues as this was my primary phone and returned the phone. PM me if you are interested or have any questions.
Interested in a battery what would u sell the battery for with shipping

Case with holster please and is the back cover for the extended battery. My kid broke mine in half

Let's talk about Docks.

I'm going to miss using my pogo dock for my gnex, but wireless charging sounds cool. Are there any good dock recommendations out there? I use my phone as a clock so something where it's also a "stand" is what I'm talking about. Please post up any links!
I have a nexus 4 orb charger that I actually bought for my nexus 7. It's pretty awesome but a bit expensive. It's angled so you can see the screen but grips my tablet really well.
https://play.google.com/store/devic...ess_Charger?id=nexus_4_wireless_charger&hl=en
There's also a cheap knock-off version that I bought (it doesn't say nexus on it) to keep at work.
http://dx-box.com/nexus-wireless-charger-adapter-pad-for-lg-google-nexus-4-e960.html
It doesn't have that magnet-like hold on my N7 that the real one has but it might be OK for a phone.
But I would wait for this one...
http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/31/google-wireless-charging-pad/
I wonder what the charging time of the new pad will be? Kinda like the look and idea but 4hr charge? Ha. I heard Sony is making one (or working on one) that sits the time in half but it probably won't be out till 2015
not the wireless dock, but if you guys remember samsung desk dock for infuse 4G, nexus 4 was kinda loose on that dock. Since the N5 is a bit wider, i hope it will fit on it perfectly!!!
Fingers crossed :good::good::good: :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Does anyone has the infuse 4G dock?
I like the orb thing, but I actually might just buy that nexus brand pad and maybe build some kind of dock for it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
This won't prop the phone up, but you could probably find a way.
I've been using it for about 2 months, works great, makes a quiet noise when connecting, works will all my cases.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/141041328532?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
It's not much bigger than a Galaxy Note. Funny, I actually used it to stretch out a leather pouch for my gNote.
FWIW I just bought the Nokia QI charger (DT-900) from AT&Ts website - $24.50 w/free shipping.
I read a review that went over the Nexus (old version), LG and Nokia one and chose the Nokia one as the winner... so... yeah.

It's a bit bigger than the others - more info here at the showdown/review I found:

The vu is my favorite of the 4 qi chargers I have. There no fiddling if how to place it. It's worked every time right away. It is more expensive (I got it for half that when it was kick started).

Ha ha! I am in the exact same boat as you! I've been using the Infuse dock for my Gnex and am cautiously optimistic for the "fit" with my freshly-ordered N5! I don't mind it being a little loose ... Just hope it's not too snug.
(Wait... Did I really say that ^ ?)
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
Let us know if that works!!
I've been think more about the wireless charging dock and I don't see a practical way it will work. From my research, people say their phones barely charge, and sometime discharge when day dreaming on a wireless charging pad. So for me, not being able to use the dock for day dreaming a clock defeats the whole purpose of having a dock. Wish it just had pogo pins
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
I use the orb for my n4 and the Nokia dt-910 for my n7. my n7 daydreams as my bedside click and it charges just fine. the 910 is a bit nicer than the orb imo, but the n4 had issues with it so hopefully the n5 is OK. it works perfectly with my n7, and I'd recommend either
I bought a Kidigi universal dock only to discover that the micro USB socket on the phone is oriented differently than most phones. It's back to front!
It looks like Kidigi has some new docks coming out, including this one for the Nexus 5:
http://www.kidigi.com/products_lv2.php?pid=1508
It doesn't seem to be on sale yet but i'll be keeping an eye out for it.
