I set up my hotmail account using the (POP3/IMAP) option. Did a manual settings and I got a message that the account was set. When it tried to sync I got the following message:"Sorry! Mail has stopped unexpectedly. An error report will be sent to HTC. Please try again." It gave me the option of - Force close.
I can't open the mail since it announces the error message every time.
Anyone knows what to do about it? How to fix it?

When I'm trying to sync with facebook (via people>online directories>facebook) I get a connection error always. Facebook application works great. Also SyncMyPix didn't work(got: API Maybe Unavailable).
I know it's an old problem, but i didn't find the answer on any forum. I'm using stock froyo (Rooted).
I tried filling all missing information in facebook account (like city....) still not working.
I found that when i added the account in Accounts & Sync, i always get "The service is currently unavailable. do you want to try again" for the first time. Then when i press OK , i got connection error when syncing contact.
Anyone Can help me please. Untill now i don't what to do .

I'm trying to set up Gmail with Exchange through the HTC Mail Widget.
I get past the first username/password, and then it again asks for server address/domain address, and I fill them out accordingly (m.gmail.com/google.com/ssl).
I've tried this both manually and automatically.
It tries to verify and keeps coming up with a pop up 'Authentication failed, please verify username and/or password'.
I've retyped it about 20 times, it's working with the Gmail widget.
help?
I changed the server to m.google.com and not m.gmail.com and it worked!
I tried to delete this post but I am unable to.

hello,
a week before i tried to send a long email using a slow connection, so it ended with an error "unable to send email". i think it was a timeout of my mailbox.
what i did then was, that i removed that email from the outbox by moving it to the inbox and then deleted it.
since then i get the notification error message "unable to send email, the account setting is incorrect" every time i reboot or turn on the phone.
the receiving and sending of emails works perfect, only this notification is my problem
how can i get rid of that???

Had no problems until today with using stock email app to connect to my work email. Today I can recieve emails but can't send any they just sit in outbox. Keep getting error message "exchange services stopped working" before I contact work IT ( who will probably say as its a none work device we can't help) I thought I would try here. I have my personnel email on another app and that's sends OK. Thamks
I currently use the built in email app to connect to a couple of my Xfinity email accounts. As of this morning I started getting the error below.. It's not really clear what permissions isn't asking for, anyone seen this? I don't have an exchange accounts set up, the error popping up regularly is getting annoying.
To sync to registered EAS accounts, you need to allow permissions in settings.
