Hey, that video is awesome.

Hi, My name is KangExposer. My mission is to expose all these so call "innovations" from all these kang artists here. I want real innovation, I don't want the forums to be flooded with all these script kiddies.

If you think you can help please do so!

Who owns xda-developers?

I dunno I just got curious out of nowhere, so who created XDA-DEVELOPERS!?
I believe it was started by some thoughtful geeks in the UK where the the first HTC device came out and was called the XDA or XDA Exec or something like that. I'm most certainly glad that they did so.

Sweet read.. thank you!
god you all are making me feel ancient OCT. 2005.
you know back then all we had to work with was Windows Mobile *shudder*
yah we didn't even cook roms for symbian.. just windows mobile. it was the clunky way of the future!
back before the "thanks" button and mayspace and youtube... yah we had mobile office. and .5 megapixel camera's
seriously though thing were alot different the devs were less helpful, more self gratification back then. We actually competed since there wasn't really a whole hell of a lot we could do with windows Mobile 3-6
http://www.gsmarena.com/o2_xda_exec-1279.php
first "xda" device i owned ironically it's how i came to this site and i began cooking custom roms for it and the moto mpx series those were good times

Kingxklick?

Okay, I've been browsing xda since having a tmobile g1, and while I appreciate everything the developers do to advance things, im kind of annoyed with kingxclick or whatever name he goes by. It just seems to me he appears in various forums and takes existing roms, modifies them very slightly, and claims them as his own. He did that on the g1 forum and here he is on the evo forum doing the same. Has he contributed anything original, or is he just the hack I think he is?

What the flubber nuggets are you talking about?

He did do one original thing in his old kernels here before he got banned:
He fixed a typo in a comment in some source code. The worst part? I'm not joking.

He's complaining about a developer he believes takes someone's rom [say mikfroyo for example] makes a few base changes, and then says its his rom.

That's what I figured. The sad thing is that he pops up on the evo forum and nobody knows what he's up to. If he is providing fixes and developing his own roms, that would be one thing, but if he's just taking various rom fixes and implementing them in "king's evo! 8.73!" or whatever other flashy named rom, he is a disgrace to true developers and he should just be banned again.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Well I'm not sure I mean according to some all I do is swap out some PNG files and then call it my own. I will say this when I used my own base everyone wanted me to use Calkulins.
Well, considering his site isn't even active anymore (404's on the whole site), I don't think we'll be seeing much of him.
I find this post a little amusing. I remember when he was making kernels. I followed very closely, was excited about the next new King Kernel! Almost donated to him!. GE was asking for donations because he didn't even OWN an EVO!. And still made good kernels!
...then one day he posts on his twitter that he finally got his!.... Vibrant?. I questioned this move on his kernel forum and stated this seemed like a 2 faced move. Asking for donations to buy an evolution to better develop his kernels, only.to buy something else.
I was chastised for questioning the great king on his thread! And he even commented saying "geez, lighten up, I'm still saving for an evo. They are sold out here is all". I stopped visiting that thread and stopped using his kernels. I felt that was a really low move and was amazed so many people followed him after that.

99% of ROM makers do the exact same thing as him... They are just taking pieces others developed and putting them together. Most of the ROM makers/chefs couldn't code their way out of a box.

When u see a video, u can see the screen is less vivid in some side, how to improve it
You're doing this because you want the HTC One V as a prize on Tinhte.vn!
We're not going to help you "win the contest" since it's not fair, find out on your own.
I'm not in the contest but seriously, creating a thread on XDA-Developers just to win a phone for YOURSELF??? Forget it!

Here is the link for the OLD video.

Old one was better in my opinion.
They showed a link in the upper left corner of a page to a "guide for new users", yet I can't seem to find any pages or links like that. Never mind, I found it by logging out, going to the forum homepage. Not my guide.
I also like the old one better, but this one is made to welcome new users instead of scaring them away.

Wow. I owe a lot of you an apology.

So remember that thread where I pretty much went on a flame spree and played the "pissed off noob", well now that I've seen a great deal of the good on this Site, I can only wish I had actually acted rationally than getting upset at one reply or lack of help.
I totally misjudged the forum and the people in it and for that, I sincerely apologize for my outrageous behavior in my past thread. There's no way really for me to explain why I reacted the way I did now, but all I can do in return is make this apology and hope I can start over making a better image of my online self.
So to everyone I flamed here at XDA, I apologize for the negativity.
