When it comes to a case for my smartphone I’m pretty picky, however, the Gloss Black TPU Cover Skin for the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is hands down my favorite. It offers style and protection without breaking the bank which is a major plus for me.
The case is not made of the same material as your typical silicon case so you don’t have to worry about it stretching after time and not fitting your phone as snug as it did on day 1. It’s made out of a material called Thermoplastic polyurethane, which is why it won’t stretch like typical silicon cases but still offers incredible (see what I did there?) shock absorption and abrasion resistance.
It has cutouts for all the buttons and ports with the exception of the volume rocker. Some say it’s a little difficult to adjust the volume but I haven’t had a problem with it. On the interior of the case it has a slick looking argyle pattern, I think this was a way to make two versions of the same case while saving money on materials. I think that’s pretty damn smart and I actually like the pattern on the inside (kinda reminds me of the bright red coloring under the battery cover of the OG Inc).
All in all, this is my favorite case for this phone to date. You can pick it up on Ebay or Amazon and there are more pics after the jump.
It'll take too long for me to post all the pics so check the site if you want to see them all. Thanks. LINK

oh yea, i forgot about that one. thx

My pleasure

I just got a case like this today that is made from the same material and its great! I really like how it doesn't bulk up the phone and won't fall off like silicone or plastic cases.

Can someone please find or make a tpu case for a ext battery please
sent from a phone without root.

Review: Ringke SGS2 Case

I recently received my Ringke case for the SGS2. Most of the cases out there either feel cheap, add too much bulk or are just too expensive. Fortunately this case is none of those. This case will cost you less than $20 and will provide your phone with the protection it deserves.

The texture of this case feels really nice on your hand. It provides enough grip but still manages to feel really smooth. The polymer coating the case has gives it a very nice feeling.
The case has precise holes and cut outs for your phone's speaker, camera, usb, and
headphone jacks. You can tell that a lot of work went into the precise design of this case. It's as though it IS part of the phone.
The best features of this case have to be its weight and the lack of bulkyness. Your SGS2 will not have much added weight and it'll remain very thin. I absolutely love how light the phone is and adding weight with cases was a pet peeve of mine until I put this case on. It is honestly a very nice case. I respect XDA's rules so I won't post the direct link here to where you can buy it. If you want more info, simply google Ringke + Samsung Galaxy S 2.
Nice Review!
Any slack in the fitting? Any movements?
Is it a hard shell or soft TPU kind of stuff?

A little slack in fitting; sides are quite easily moved while swiping, but not too bad.
Thanks for the review, is this available in black i wouldn't be seen with that colour in the review.
I already have 2 cases so am not immediately in the market for one but if i do see one which i like i may purchase it.

Hardly any slack This case is as tight as Will.I.Am's pants.
It's soft but not as soft as that TPU stuff.

I dropped it yesterday on cement (by mistake...damn pockets!). It protected it just fine.
It really depends how you drop it I guess.

Bump.
This is a great case and I enjoy it more each day.

CaseMate Barely There ALTERNATIVE. Cheap.

After hearing feedback that the Barely There Case was found not an exact fit I thought I'd try out an alternative. I decided on the Hard Hybrid Back Case which can be found on ebay for less than £3. I also bought the even cheaper (99p) S-line for comparison.
The S-line I found easy to fit and remove, it had more protection on the top and bottom but it felt and looked cheap. The buttons were also covered with plastic which I didn't like.
The Hybrid case is very much styled like the CaseMate Barely There case but fits better, it's very snug and snaps over the Nexus. Getting it off can take a couple attempts. It has cut outs for both buttons which I prefer and has a nice grippy feel. Here are a couple pics:

Agreed. What's the point of having a case if it doesn't cover all the edges?
On a side note, OP - would you mind sharing the settings widget you are using? I like that the background is transparent.
AH i ordered a bunch of the hybrid cases off ebay. they are feel really nice! the only thing i dislike is how incredibly frustrating it is to take it off >:| (yes i swap cases often to keep the look fresh) but I have a white one and a dark purple one. as well as a S-line case. the S-line case feels nice but kinda bulky ><
each of my cases are like $2-$3
i'll post pictures of the white one once it arrives >> (two week shipping from HK)

Could be SwitchPro.
Case looks pretty nice. Currently using Otterbox Defender or whatever and it's comically huge.
Looks like a nice case, was going to ask if it would fit the LTE nexus but it looks like the seller doesn't ship to the states :/

u have to look around. all of the sellers based in Hong Kong would be willing to sell to the states. however, alot of the EU based sellers wont. it took me a good 20 minutes to find a white hybrid case that could be shipped to the US

Video Review: Tridea Bumper Case!

Hey guys,
Got my hands on the Tridea Tedoori Bumper case, this is a TPU bumper that wraps around the sides and corners of your Galaxy S III to provide a tight fitting but slim case alternative. As a bumper, it leaves the front and back exposed, however you can pair this case up with a set of skins and have maximum scratch protection.
Check out the full review below for more info:
another nice video mate, keep going
Thanks for the review. The one major flaw of bumper cases on a phone like the Galaxy S III is the speaker volume is greatly lowered when the phone is lying face up on a flat surface. Due to the location of the speaker, the sound waves get trapped under the phone since the bumper case basically forms a seal against whatever flat surface the phone is lying on. I have a Belkin bumper case that looks really great, but I'm going to have to switch to another design because of the severe volume reduction (I don't want to leave the phone face down all the time). I would estimate the volume is lowered by about 80%, enough to miss hearing a phone call or notification if I'm in the next room or something.
nice review, wanted to order this actually, still thinking because of the bumper style exposed back , will be great if its a normal cover up casing

Thanks, it isn't a bad case as long as you know what you're getting into. I'm rocking it around my house because it's comfortable to hold and don't have to worry about dropping it.

I whole heartedly agree. It hit the recycle bin within 5 minutes of trying it out. I recommend the Rock Quicksand case to anyone looking for a quality case.

Spigen SGP Ultra Flip Leather Cover

Hello all, just received my SGP Ultra Flip Cover in "blue green" today. Will post photos tonight.
http://www.spigen.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-case-ultra-flip-series.html
The case feels very nice. The front cover sits nice and flat when you flip it to the back. Remains comfortable to hold when the case is open. I carry my phone in my front pocket most of the time, so i like the added protection the cover gives you. Still waiting on my curved screen protector too, so once i get that i can let anyone know if there is any screen peel from the case.
Let me know if you have any questions!

This one is an actual case though Partly the reason I returned my original flip cover from samsung, but it was so damn sexy.
Pictures are up. I hope they came out well enough.
Hows the durability of this case? Ive had the official samsung flip case for a little less than a month now and its already peeling at the edges. i like having the flip cover but need something that will last.

I've had mine since late November and its getting to the point where I need to replace it. On the back the blue leather is peeling at all the corners, the edges of the cover are all frayed, and on the inside the fold where you fold it behind to use the phone is pretty grimy and stained. The inside felt material is too light of a color, so every bit of dirt you get on it shows. I'm a pretty messy person though so your mileage may vary.
If you are a tidy person this might work for you but I'm pretty rough with my phones. Also, the case won't protect your phone if you drop it on the top or bottom edges as it doesn't cover those sides. Lastly, it does add a bit of bulk to what is a very slim phone. Might as well get an otterbox as this point...

Which case to buy?

I cannot help you more than giving you my own experience, so that you can know if it is or not what you want
Heavy Duty case (unboxing and life-tested (simply don't know how to break my device with it :silly:
Tempered glass protector to fully protect the device
i'll soon try to find another case for a XT1039 -but lighter than the one for my XT1032-, and post a review asap.

I have a xt1032 (forgot to mention) the case looks nice. I don't mind if its a bit chunky unless its really chunky, overall I think the case looks nice . I don't know whether or not I need screen protector because I thought moto g screen is scratch proof. My current case is a big thick leather flip case which is a bit annoying when I play games.

For me the best case is the moto grip shell. It's colorful, it protects both the screen (because the silicon part comes a little bit over it) and the phone itself. You can find it on different websites around 10$...
A few days ago I ordered the case @matmutant suggested. It comes with screen protector, stylus and case and all for just 8€ so I'm pretty happy
