how jtagers create a bootloader for wave

in this page its the procedure to recover the booloader for bada.
maybe with reverese engineering the big boys could know how to create a bootloader for android

"Easiest" way to repair dead S8500 or other handset with working JTAG Testpoints.
Clone simple working handset 1:1.
Then you can use working Image (JTAG Dump).
If you have only dead Wave. Then you need someone, who is willing to share his working dump. Otherwise you can only restore Boot Loader with big Luck... But maybe NV items and other important Settings are for ever gone...
Again. Copy Memory from working/alive handset.
Sometimes not every Dump work correct with every Hardware Revision... Sometimes little but hard to fix changes.
Only JTAG Dump I know is around 512 MB... but is not from me.

do you think its a good idea to make a list of the hardware of the wave?
i mean kind of memory, chipset, cpu, gpu (kind of...) wireless chip...
or its not important right now?

there is a video in youtube (look for samsumng wave disassembly) were the phone is disassembled in easy steps...
if there is anyone with a test wave, could open it a take some pictures of the memories and the chips.. its a easy way to know them...

Finding Daily XXXXXX Quest

Sorry if I offensive someone... But on my 'old' HD2 with Android I was able to use and install "Daily Breast Quest" I used Android for a short time on my HD2. I flashed it with something else (wp7).
Now I have waited several weeks on the delivery of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Finally I have it, one of the apps I was waiting for was this one. Somehow it is'n available on the Markter. I have Content Filtering set to "Show all apps" it switches back automatically to "High maturity"
Anyhow, still no luck with finding the APP. Is their someone who has the APK file ? Has it something to do with the 2.3. version on the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The website http://www.playboy.nl/daily-breast-quest mentions a QR code :

[Q] Itel Mobile Dialer - VOIP app

I've downloaded itel mobile dialer (itel switch plus) from the other market (samsung test market) that was available for couple of days some time ago (that was the market where angrybirds was available for free). I was wondering if anyone has this app installed and if anyone has an idea how to set it up, so a voip calls can be made?

I dont have any new version of anything. I restored from a backup file the iTel Dialer, and I was wondering if someone has experiance with it, because I want to set this sip/voip client to work on bada. So if anyone can help just post a replay, otherways just skip this topic.

<EDIT> And about this IP function from the Chinase firmware - I saw in the sammobile forum, that it was not a real VOIP but just an easy way to dial a number with a prefix (used for the pre-payed cards for cheap international calls through a local number I guess).

You cannot. It was available just for several days some time ago.
P.S. I'm not even sure if it was a test market, but there were alot of new apps for free. Some of them are available now on Samsung Apps.

I find the concept very interesting as once it loaded to the phone anyone with ok HTML knowledge would be able to change and tweek bits.
however i think the ui is always going to be limited, and is aimed at very basic phones at the moment (although the demoed an s2 running it) and is due to be launched in south america first.

Cannot install beta apps

On two occasions it has happened to me that the developers send me a link of their beta application to be able to install it on my watch, and it always fails. Since I don't have a Samsung phone, I don't have the Galaxy store app directly installed, but rather I have it installed through the Galaxy watch plugin and I think that's the reason, because it tells me that I have to update the Galaxy store but I can't do it. someone who can help please?attached video

I have only Samsung handsets...
Never tried other handset... from other Manufacturer.
You play with "Deep Link"... which calls Samsung App app crap...
This is not really Security... it is more Kindergarten...
All you could try... at the moment:

If this funny pop up came out... with "first step upgrade your Galaxy Store to the latest Version"
Try to tap around... in gray or other parts of your Display... NOT inside the white Window nor OK nor Cancel...
Start at upper corner...
Few Versions of funny Galaktik Joke App can skip such Pop Up Windows...
If no luck, please tell your App version... and maybe Link... so I could check...

So IMHO focus on your priority.
If Beta App testing is important for you...
So alternate solution...
Toy Wear + Samsung Toy Handset...
Maybe easier and faster to manage instead "hacking" Samsungs Security """Chain"""...
Maybe family members can borrow you Samsung Phone... or neighbar or...

Impossible I've tried that way
