any body know how to make the own themes by edit *.png files from framework-res.apk?? cauze on UOT kitchen is not full editing themes for SGA.

Hey... Is it possible to extract WM themes from a ROM?
Easierr if you could just ask someone here (using the ROM) to get the .tsk theme file for you.
ive made a theme and cooked it into the rom but i dont know how to make it start with that theme as the standard theme.

i had this question too... so i think in the folder that contains the start icons must be a rgu with that reg entrie... then I think we must to add some entries in dsm files from base dpi96 themes dpi 96 resh resv and other where themes resides.
Will search around that folders for that RGU

if 6.1 you will use:
EXEC: \windows\cusTSK.exe \windows\HTC_BrandGREY.tsk
if 6.5 u would use TSK: \windows\HTC_BrandGREY.tsk

I want to make a Theme for any SENSE-UI Rom like slate. Beacause the v08 beta dosen't work the camera. And the locations is for me not nessesary.
I prefer a smal android 2.2 with sense . And the grandious slate skin.
I love the skin. And so i have a question.
Where can I find the png image files from the skin. I didn't find in the RCMixHDv07a ROM. I search in com.htc.resources.apk and framework-res.apk.
So please help me!
you can find the slate.apk in /data/app_s/

Does anyone know where I can download a free xml editor to make some changes in my framework files?
If you decompile the framework you could do it with just about any text editor you wanted. I use TextPad.

i want to have a custom statusbar
i have copied and extracted systemui.apk
In the SystemUI\res\drawable-hdpi folder there is statusbar_background.png
if i replace the existing image with the one attached below and save the apk file and replace it in the phone (if possible) will it change my statusbar image???
i tried uot kitchen but i didnt find the option to add personal statusbar (topbar)
i could only select 1 from its list or select a solid colour
any help, links, info appreciated

EDIT: also if i cook a theme edit in UOT Kitchen is it possible to edit the statusbar image in that zip file and then update the phone by flashing it
