nope

HAHA, only thing I asked too.

Bah humbug

Got it flashed along with netarchy 1.3.4 cfs and everything seemed good so far. As mentioned, 4g toggle still doesn't work but that's not a big deal for me.

They did fix the fade in/out of music during a notification.. it is only on the stock music player (which is nice but I don't use it), that was an annoying bug for awhile.

If I flash this and then the newest nightly does the nightly earase the RC or does it just add uoadtes to it?
Sent from my Asus Transformer Tab

will accurate battery work with this rom as well? Also is wifi tether infrastructure or ad hoc? Can i restore data from my last rom or do i need to use mybackup to get my stuff back?

Working great so far, after a wipe

Sorry for the noobie question but what is RC and what makes this different from the nightlies? I am a bit new to CM7. Also how do you go about choosing the nightlies? Thanks in advance.

RC is release candidate along the lines of "beta" whereas nightlies are considered "alpha" and possibly broken as they're bot built every night adding any new merges/features.

i keep getting a force close on android.media

It's been running smooth for me so far today. I have noticed a lot lately that ADW EX never loads widgets properly when running CM, always have to kill it and let it restart if coming off a reboot.
What's up the the brightness? I was reviewing the changelog this morning and it said "Slide to adjust brightness bar", I thought this was something being implemented on the notification curtain but I don't see it. Maybe it's not for our device...

If you go into cyanogenmod settings-> interface-> status bar tweaks you should see it. If you can't enable it you have to turn auto brightness off...
Hope that helps!

Complaining about your free software upgrade which you put no time in developing? Before you even install it? Really? Way to show thanks, dude.

You'll never know until you try it out. For me tho, its the look, speed, and battery life. Just make a back-up, and you can revert back to stock if its not your cup of tea.

This is a matter between 2.2 and 2.3, for daily stock would be enough, 2.3 has NFC, some new drive, new core, would be a little smooth than the one you are using! For battery life, can't not simplely say better, Faux's kernel have both on Stock, Froy AOSP,Ginger they all save your battery life!!
The reason is you want something new, when you are making X with the same girl over and over again, you would think about change!!

How would i build a stable version from source? When i build using:

If I upgrade from nightly 125 with Wallet working will wallet still work for me? Or do I need to do a complete wipe again? Or simply flash the wallet fix?
Were do I get Google wallet for this rom?

I'm a habitual nightly flasher but fantastic to see the NS4G get its first stable release after 130 or so nightlies!
Thanks Cyanogen and all the maintainers who give so many Android users the gift of awesomeness.

It's in NS4G Android development. You will see it a few threads down. Even after just upgrading from nightly 125 to the stable release wallet worked after I flashed the fix .zip then again I has wallet working on 125 to begin with because I did a complete wipe when I installed it. YES! Finally no more flashing stuff for a little while and simply enjoying a fluid CM7.1 and wallet! I'm deleting all my backups now and making just one of this stable release.
Oh yeah, anybody else notice their battery go to 100% now after flashing this stable? Mine did, I was surprised to see it display 100% and not 94%.

YESS!!! I came in here with a screenshot as proof because I thought no one would believe me Haven't seen that 100 in a while.
Does anyone else have two separate "Music" apps after flashing CM 7.1 and the gapps? For some reason I now have both the old style Music app (with the speaker icon) and the new headphones icon music app.
Otherwise, I'm loving the update.
The key to google wallet is flashing the fix directly on top of the rom you flash in the same recovery session.
I have taken the google wallet fix from the dev forum and modified a lil bit. Updated Shopper and no duplicate system nfc and tags apps.

What is this? Do we need to flash this on top of CM?
Does anyone else here get the occasional "black screen" where the phone won't seem to wake up and requires a battery pull?
I've had this problem on the last few phones I've had but it's only with CM. I thought it might be clocking/governor related but doesn't seem to be.
I think Cyanogenmod may be the best thing to ever happen to our (or any) phone and I'd like to get this figured out so I could count on it.
I will get the necessary pastebin put up the next time it happens; I was mainly wondering if anyone else had this problem.
Thanks!

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back!
weehooherod2 said:
1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
6. Multiwindow. There is no alternative, dont ask.

And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)

DO NOT USE 20121011 GAPPS OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES, USE 20121212 GAPPS.
If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

Re: [ROM][SPH-L900][JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies
Thank you for this. Flashed the 1/28 nightly & this is the first cm10.1 that I've flashed that my WiFi is acting like it always has, full bars, no loss. Awesome. Hopefully whatever has changed can be implemented into the other roms, like PA, thank you, thank you.

One of the hardest working devs on XDA.
Keep up the good work!

Almost 3 months to the day from device release to official CM status, mad props!!!
I've been waiting for this. Just flashed it, 1st time flashing the Note 2. Everything seems great, super fast!!
Question, does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the auto brightness? It seems the CM10.1 levels are pretty bright all the time.
Is it me or is Voice search and all voice related things are broken?
