gyroscope games - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

Coming from FruitPhone world, a lot of the Gameloft games used the fantastic gyroscopic controls, just bought Modern Combat HD from the market place and there are no options to use it, I'm sure the SGS2 has gyroscope functions, why, what, if and how...
Very disappointing used to love the gyro controls, so much quicker and more realistic.

a lot of games use the gyroscope or accelerometer for control. all the gameloft hd racing games do, the emulators do as well, just apparently the gameloft hd action games don't. i also have modern combat, brothers in arms and splinter cell and i would love to use the gyroscope as well, because with the left thumb on the analog stick to move and the other thumb for looking around, it's hard to get a third finger on the display for shooting.

If u want to play a nice gyroscope shooter i recommend NOVA HD also from Gameloft.
Edit:Just tried it and it works really nice as soon as you get used to it. Hope i helped you out a bit.

Yes just download the free version through the Gamehub, works a treat with the gyro, so much faster to aim, love it...
So why have Gameloft not introduced the gyro to there other First Person games ?

Racing games actually use accelerometer and nova is the only one using gyro. One stinking game in 3 months.

WILDBLOOD worst controls ever

Im getting so annoyed with this game wildblood it has to have the worst controls ive ever experienced on a android game which is such a pity cos the game itself is great but its always at that crucial moment when the stupid camera spin completly out of control and you all ways end up looking the wrong way.....but all ways at the time you need to shoot an arrow or sum crap it gets sooo friggin annoying.
and a pad controller doesnt work with the arrow...... coincidence eh
edit>: god damn worst controls ever!
Agreed. The touch screen controls are jittery and not smooth. I was at a part with a HUGE cross bow and shooting a slew of oncoming enemies... all you do is aim and fire... well it wasn't so easy. It lacks fine control. It seemed it would get in the general area around the enemy then stop... and skip around... and not respond.
Typically when I need fine motor control, you can rock your thumb but it seems this game doesn't see this. It requires an actual swipe and won't pick up the swipe until your finger moved X amount of pixels. So if you need to fine adjust over 5 pixels, but it won't pick up a swipe till 15px, it jumps to the other side of the enemy.
Gameloft is the GREATESTEST GAME DEVELOPER EVER AND EVER AND FOREVER! There must be something wrong with all of my Nexus devices and Samsung tabs because Gameloft could never ever screw anything up.

1080P Games

Well, lets make a list of games that push the device to its limits. I would love to see a nice high resolution game that really shows off the EXCELLENT display this phone has. I can stare at it all day, so lets put a game in there so I can stare at that:laugh:

All of these games are XP optimized. And PoP SaF is really good, first PoP for Android was boring for me (and really hard), but this is something different - and playable

TOP 5 games NOTE 10 +

What are your top 5 games that you play on your Note 10+?
Plague Inc
Super Hexagon
Thumper
PinOut (best pinball game on android! imo)
RAID: Shadow Legends
I've been playing:
Call of Duty Mobile
AdventureQuest 3D
Bladebound
Arena of Valor
Rangers of Oblivion
and then of course the PPSSPP emulator with God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, etc (def need an external controller though: https://amzn.to/2kkhmvH)
My all top favorite game is
Archero
Best grinding and challenging game
The elder scrolls legend
Drastic
Mario kart
epsxe
Final fantasy ix
Super Mecha Champions
Zgirls 2
Cyber Hunter
Perfect World
Astral Chronicles
I play my Xbox games on my Note 10+ via the Streaming service, no need for paying double or ad ridden games.
COD
PUBG
mobile games are just that. I'm not sure why publishers are pushing DQ, COD, DeadSpace, FF games on us. If I want those, I'd rather play on the consoles. And did someone say Raid? LOL, how much are they paid for shilling that crap?
When you have to attach an xbox controller, then what's the point? might as well play it on the xbox. Oh, so you're waiting in line at the DMV with an xbox controller attached to the phone? Y tho? are you honing your MLG skills for the next tourney?
my suggestions for the top 5:
1. Any of the Sonic games.
Great for the nostalgia nerds. Easy to understand: go from left to right, collect rings and avoid traps, pitfalls, spikes. Yes, this is basically a console port, which I just *****ed about but the simple graphics and easy controls and simple gameplay makes this an exception to the rule.
2. Skyforce Reloaded or Air Attack 2
Honestly, any smups (shoot'm ups) are great. Simple controls, easy pick up and put away when waiting in line
3. Golf Peaks or Ok Golf or Mini Golf 3D
everyone hates golf, but these games are pretty neat in their own right.
4. Alto's Odyssey or Alto's Adventure or Ski Safari 2 (Ski Safari 2 AT)
great games especially when paired with a headphone. The calming music and simple controls will put you in a relaxed mood, especially when the line doesn't move.
5. Paper Monster or Leo's Fortune or Oddmar
For those who like the platform style of gaming, these games are great. Even today, Leo's Fortune's graphics hold up well.
honorable mention:
Pocket Build or Pocket City or Minecraft or Stardew Valley
good graphics and enjoyable games for those who like to build and miss those SimCity type games. Stardew Valley is fun, it's one of those games where you will pick it up randomly and start playing just about anywhere. Minecraft, no introduction needed.
I tried the FPS games but they are laughable. Controls are convoluted and they don't even support game pads. Besides, even having the biggest phone screen in the industry, it pales to a console hooked up to an 85" screen. I'm not that desperate where I need my COD fix while on in public. I can wait until I get home, relax on the couch and play enjoy the KD on the consoles. you can't really hold your phone and quickly run, aim and toss a grenade at the same time. precision counts when you're going against someone. That's why they took a way the controller support, those with controllers always annihilate those fumbling with onscreen controls.
