Are there any high powered batteries for the Inc 2? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I currently use an Energizer 5200 mAh power pack for then I need extra juice. I know Verizon offers a replacement but its kinda weak for what I want.
Is there at least a 3000mAh or more battery?
Bizzare that I cant find one when the original Incredible had a 3500mAh pack.

A larger 3000+mAh battery has been mentioned previously somewhere in these forums. I think Muegen makes one. You can include "Incredible S" in your searches for some accessories, such as this one.

How does the 1800 fit? Can the cover close completely?

Fits perfectly! No issues with the cover closing at all

yeah the Mugen 1800 fits perfectly. and in fact, a bit cheaper on ebay (i think it was 39.99 including shipping). that''s where i got mine from at least and it was all good.

Just ordered the Mugen.
Looks like I didn't use the chichitec one long enough for permanent damage to the cover. It's slowly reforming back to where it doesn't squeak and move around.

[Q] Cheapo Ebay Extended Batteries

I'm considering the cheap 3500mah batteries on eBay. The Seidio battery is over $60, and I can get 2 of the eBay 3500 batteries for $20. At that price they wouldn't be a bad deal even if they lasted slightly less than the Seidio.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I've done several web searches, but haven't seen anything interesting.

I wouldnt do it. Seen to many no name ebay laptop batteries burn laptops up. Google also says beware, do a little research. Some people are claiming they are great. I just cant take that chance though. Good batteries are expensive for a reason, they cost to manufacture. After shipping it seems these cheap batteries cost the seller under $1 for everything. How can that be quality? a ton of horror stories online about ebay generic phone batteries... You make the call.
Tell me where you STOCK battery is made and make as decision. A stock htc battery blew up as well. I have a 300mah from hong kong and it is better than stock but not better seido.
i was in the same delimna

They are all made in china, HTC, Siedo all of them. The difference is OEM and Name brand batteries have quality control, they use good cells and materials. The cheapos have no standards. Thats why there is no name or no identifying marks on them, so they cant be held accountable for what they sell. The OEM and Name brand use quality Japanese cells, the no name batteries dont. And yes the OEM can explode as well, they all can. Chemical reactions give you energy. Thats the nature of a battery. Even more of a reason to make sure you get the best quality. It's just the 25 cent battery has a lot higher failure rate, some reviews even say using the cheap ebay battery is like playing russian roulette with your phone. I'm not making this stuff up by the way lol. Use what you want to use. But educate yourself, do some searching before you decide to take that chance. Batteries are expensive, no matter what kind. They always have been. Why all of a sudden can you get batteries from china for pennies after shipping? And you better believe they are making a good profit, they arent going through the trouble to make a few pennies, and they still have ebay fees. Yes they work new out of the box, but these types of items degrade fast, and thats when you start having problems. Especially with the constant abuse we put our evo batteries through, they are subject to way more abuse than the average cell phone battery. For those of you that have a working 25 cent battery now, cool. I can almost guarantee you you wont buy another battery like that in a year from now, you'll know the deal by then. And if this is the miracle battery and it is quality and lasts as long as name brand, then the company that makes them will be the richest company in the world in a few years, they've found out how to do something better and cheaper than anybody else in the world. way way cheaper, like 800% cheaper lol. Soon we wont have duracell, we'll just have eBay batteries.
just a reminder to the OP
those ebay batteries are no where close to 3500 mah.... they are only advertised as 3000mah in the first place.
Seidio seems to have hit the perfect mark with this battery
check the stats

*this is coming from a guy who has all the extended batteries*
however i do use it when my seidio 3500mah is on the wall plate charging
yea plz dont buy those no name batteries frm ebay, i recently got my 3000mah for $11.27 off ebay and its worst than the stock battery, im jus gonna pay the $69 next tyme
69$?
yall need to holler @ mobilecity they got them for 59 bucks or less
i blv overstock had them for 30$ bucks but you know they flew like pancakes...lol

Must refine your search skills. There's a 15 page thread right on the front page of this forum that talks about these batteries and a similar sized thread about just the Seidio battery.
i have two 1500 mAh batteries that are shaped exactly the same as the stock htc... they're black with a different label. I would bet they are the EXACT same battery

All 2700, 3000, 3500 mah are 2100mah with a different sticker

It is my conclusion that all chinese knock offs are 2100mah. This based on johnnychimpos results of tests. He had a 2700 and 3000. Both of which charged no higher than 2000mah. I have 2 chinese 3000 and 3500 no difference between the 3. Looking for proof elsewhere. Going to buy real seidio now.

Still better than 2000mah. If I am going to be carrying this weight around I better get the most juice I can out of them.
Hmm, what do you think about this...

Seems to be a California based company, but on their main website they have the same item going for 64.99 - wonder why eBay is $15 cheaper.

It is my conclusion that my chinese knockoff charged to over 2700mah and kept getting better. It was rated at 3000
I use the HTC 2150. Works great, less filling ...
Only drawback - battery indicator doesn't function.
@op i agree. they are all the same with different sticker. 2k packs 2 times the size.
I agree the 2100, 2700mAh, and 3000mAh are all actually the same 2100mAh, but the 3500mAh Seidio is a beast on it's own. I have all of these batteries.
I got the 3500mah from random Chinese company, the fit and finish of the case is really nice
I don't understand why the mah would be so low... I mean the 1500mah ones I bought, are pretty much 1500mah.

Mugen 1800mAh battery

Is anyone using the mugen 1800mah extended battery? If so I was wondering how much time you got with it vs the stock battery. So far it is the strongest battery I could find that still uses the stock battery cover.
I'm using a different 1800mah battery off ebay, and I can say I'm very pleased with them. I don't know if I get a full 20% more battery life, but I'm sure that they last longer than the stock battery. Plus the matching red is a nice touch.
This is what I have:
http://cgi.ebay.com/HTC-EVO-4G-SPRI...ccessories&hash=item335fa61cc1#ht_5259wt_1060
He's raised the price $10 since I bought them two months ago.
not a Mugen but i tested a comparable battery bought from best buy here:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/evo-accessories/29856-best-buy-1750-mah-tested.html
additionally, there is a link in there to someone that tested an 1800mah bought off ebay.
my advice: results may vary. buy it, test it, if it doesnt work out, send it back.
So it sounds like the Mugen or the Seidio is worth the extra money over the generic chinese brand as far as getting extra performance. I think the mugen is a little less than the seidio. I had originally thought about picking up one of the 3500mah batteries from seidio but eventhough they have an innocase for it, there are no holsters that will hold it. I need some kind of belt clip holster. So unless anybody knows of a holster/clip that will work with the 3500mah battery installed I will be stuck with a couple of the 1800 batteries. Do you think something like this would work with the 3500 since the very top and the very bottom are the only thing in the holster?

One last question about the Mugen 1800 battery. I found a site and the Mugen 1800 for the Hero is $11 less than the Mugen 1800 they are selling for the Evo. It is essentially the same battery isn't it?

I was about to say the same thing...I have swapped batteries and they are the same. Touch Pro 2 as well.
Good read about various batteries and performance. link

Mugen 4500 mAh!

They are on ebay, has anyone tried or purchased...looks amazing. I have an EVO w the siedio 3500 and am very happy. A friend has the siedio for his tbolt and seems satisfied too.....but 4500 mAh....shiat!
Personally I would say to go with the 2750, you never know what you are going to be getting with those shady ebay batteries that. And most likely that 4500mAh is probably around 3500mAh, I think there was a link somewhere showing those batteries to be fake.
I've actually used Mugen batteries and they performed better than OEM or Seido.
here is a link to a video of the Mugen 4500

I love Mugen but that thing is just too big and ugly and no case will ever be made to fit it, and even if there was, it would be ugly as hell too. IF someone decides they want one of these, i would get it at the official site:

I've actually had the opposite experience with Mugen on my old Droid X but with batteries it's always going to be YMMV.
fuuuuck look at the price of it. geez for that buy two extended batteries and youre good. or buy a good external battery charge. or buy a crap load of knock off batteries but over $100 for that? yea no thanks
This thing is horrid lol.

Mugen 4500mAH Battery+Back

Hi
A 4500mAH Mugen extended battery battery is supposed to be shipping 'soon' for the Note:
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...or-samsung-galaxy-note-with-battery-door.html
At that price ($109), i'll be letting someone else sample/report on it first!!
I was expecting the Mugen for the note to be a bit bigger, but it is the same capacity as their extended battery for the S2.
Nigel
5000mAH Chinese extended battery: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-f...ith-Back-cover-4pcs-lot-High-wholesalers.html
Chunky!
I've ordered the Mugen. I'll report back on performance in a few weeks once I've got it and cycled it a couple of times.

And I ordered "el cheapo" from ebay. Will report back once it arrives from HK.
I got the same cheap Chinese battery. Two batteries, wall charger, car USB charger, USB cord - all for around 10 bucks. The batteries are rated at 2500 mA, but get discharged almost twice as fast as the stock one. The wall charger is poor quality, I had to open it to solder the leads back in place.
All that considered, the deal is pretty decent for the price.
With that price, u can buy 3 extra OEM Samsung Note battery 3x2500=7500mah and still keep the thin look on the Note.
I love the Mugen batteries except none of the cases fit. Does anyone know if the bumper cases fit with the bigger batteries??
Buy Sanyo Eneloop 5000mAh, multi purpose mobile charger pack.
I wonder if Mugen is going to make an OEM sized one with 3000 mah Those are usually, price wise, comparable to the original batteries, and have a little more umff to them! But I think 110 dollars for a battery is a little over priced.
On the Mugen Website it now has a product image and it looks like the battery cover has a kickstand. Or is that just a generic image place holder?
**EDIT**
Yes it is a battery cover with built in kickstand. Nice!
And the expanded cover is available in black OR white (or red?), and it looks much better than I would have expected. Still chunky, but might be easier to hold.
EDIT: wonder what the effect is on the external speaker?

I live in Spain, and I have purchased about 4 of these batteries and I have never once paid customs / importation taxes.
Looks good, the only thing that worries me is the real capacity. the 30Euro samsung battery says its 2500mah and its really2450-2500 mah battery. But usually, according to tests from the past. Mugen batteries rarely reach 75 percent of their advertised capacity. And thats a ripoff. Ive been considering buying mugen 3200mah for S2, but then I found out its really a ~2600mah battery for sky high price. I will be surprised if this battery proves to have at least 4000mah in the future when someone does a discharge test on this expensive piece of thing.
P.S. also to the wise guy saying he will buy a cheap ebay 5000mah, those are probably even worse than stock sammy battery with double the thickness.

I've bought some other cheap batteries from eBay. I would suspect it's 3500-4000mah. The one Mugen I've had was close to the advertised capacity. I'd say at least 85%.

Mugen is a dutch company so you wont need to pay custom duties if you are in the EU.
According to their website Mugen are based in China
How much weight does it add to the unit?
Does it make one hand operation more difficult due to extra thickness? I can sort of manage one hand operation with a lanyard currently.
Anyone has bouhgt the Mugen-Battery-Pack and can post some pictures or better still a video?
I'm interested about the dimension/handling of the package and can't find something like that!
Thank's! Best regards!
Andi
I'm interested, but it looks lke it will make it pretty thick, and I like the portabilty I have, meaning, I like the fact it fits in my pants pocket without being to bulky. I viewed the phots with the battery and the case it comes with, it will be pretty thick.
