Looking for specific ROM - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking for specific ROM.
1. 100% NAND Fit (also installing apps to Nand as default)
2. Gingerbread + Sense (could have some Sense 3 stuff, but 2.1 is fine too)
I dont care about space left on internal, even 50mb would be fine after initial boot. (i dont use much apps so even A2SD is not important)
Most ROM's i tried require EXT partition and i would like not use it. (****ty class 2 sd)
I can use any hboot since i'm s-off.
Is there such a diamond?

Download any rom that fits number 2 and only uses a2sd or a2sd+. now open the zip and go to /system/etc/initd and remove the a2sd-script.
I don't think there is any rom which doesn't use a2sd in any way, as the internal memory is too low and is almost unusable without.

What about /sdext/ folder, where it will be installed if there is no ext partition? is there any easy way moving it to /data/ ?

Yes if it isn't too big to fit your data-partition, you can do it by editing the line in the script that tells the recovery to write the folder to sd-ext to make it write it to /data instead.
But since it's originally written to sd-ext, that rom might be too large to fit internally initially. You will also have to try out different hboot partition layouts, as some might fit better than others(compare the needed sizes to the sizes on alpharev's website).

I forget which version of A2SD it is, but one of them doesn't actually run the app from the SD card, which means you'll be fine with a class 2. Can't find the post explaining it though.

The difference is that a2sd only puts the apk-file on the sd-ext, but as this apparently isn't used at run-time, it won't slow you down, where as a2sd+ also moves dalvik-cache, which is used at runtime.
But personally i also like keeping things internally. If you didn't get the other way working, you can also use leedroids a2sd version, which flashes to /data by default, and then you can just remove the a2sd-script.
Additionally if you like it plain, consider an aosp-rom like oxygen(i have come to love the simplicity personally)

I have used Reflex S ... May be give it a shot... !!

The script you mentioned is \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script?
Also are you sure editing it will be enough? I mean if there is no other entries to edit somewhere.

He was probably referring to 40a2sd script. Frankly, you can achieve that from the first post with just about any rom using this.

[Q] Can we delete default apps?

Can we delete the default apps to free space on internal storage?
Thanks.
Yes we can delete default apps, but you will need to root your phone in order to do it It will also not release any space for you to install apps on, as the default ones are installed on a separate partition with the entire system(/system). Where as your settings and apps are all stored on the /data partition.
Ah ok. So it would only be helpfull for moving the ones you install to card.
Yes a2sd is a very common reason to root your phone it's very nice not having to worry about which and how many apps you install.
Did it work for you?
Yes running a2sd allows all of your apps to run off an ext-partition on the sd-card. Currently im running a2sd+ which also moves "dalvik cache" Working perfectly fine, though we have had some trouble with froyo, which behaves strangely when handling the original fat32 partition, when a2sd is used.
you could also just use the std. froyo method, with which you can move any apps to sd-card with a simple command. To read about the differences try reading my response to another thread, it explains it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782654
edit: the std. froyo apps to sd causes no so called "corruption" to the sd-card.
edit 2: explanation of the so called corruption: Link
Thanks very much man.
No problem
It seems like I am retarded, but I cannot understand how to put the app2sd app and flash it to the phone. I mean I have the link to the explanations http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7021325&postcount=2 but they are not extremely clear for a new android user like myself. For instance , what is EXT3 and EXT4? Which one do I need to make for Froyo? It makes me very nervous that I cannot understand this process.) Is this the standard method that you talked about?
I tried searching but it always gives back the same results, with posts about cooked roms and so on. It is extremely unclear.

[Q] Rooting successful - Now what?

So... After much hesitation (purely because of worry), I finally rooted my Desire. And yes, it went without a hitch.
I do have that app which says "Superuser Permissions".
Running ClockWork mod recovery/rom 2.5.0.7 (I guess).
I have downloaded the major recommended apps for rooted devices, viz. - Root Explorer, Titanium Backup and ROM Manager.
I'd like to know what else can be done now...
My phone's memory is down to 20-ish odd Megs. Thanks to updating Adobe, Facebook, GMail, Maps, QuickOffice and installing Swype.
Is there a way to increase the memory now?
I am running FroYo 2.10.405.2 and Radio 5.09.05.30_2.
Thanks in advance...
You could try a custom rom with apps2sd for starters

Ah ok... Will read-up before going for one.
One more thing, please.
Unrevoked worked without a hitch. And there is no visible difference, either. No change at the HBOOT screen.
Which prompts me to ask: shouldn't it change from S-ON to S-OFF? Or am I getting confused with something else?
PS: apps2sd? I have a software called App 2 SD. Any difference between the two?
Unrevoked dosent unlock your bootloader, if you want to do that just search development for "alpharev" ..... apps2sd+ and the native froyo move to sd are diffrent, the biggest advantage being apps2sd+ also moves the dalvik cache (mine is over 50mb)

Root is not the same as s-off. There is a fix, which flashes a pathced hboot though, which till give you s-off. It is easy, and i prefer to have it, as et makes recovering the phone so much easier, if something happens
For a2sd there is 2 major types. The one implemented in froyo by default, which you already make use of. The app you have allows you to mave pretty much any app to the sd-card. But you will still have the dalvik-cache in the phone memory. The other type of a2sd is what i have experienced to give me plenty of space is usually implemented in most custom roms, and is activated by making an ext-partition on your sd-card(can be done through rom manager).
I prefer the last one by far, and if i should recommend a rom for you, it should be AuraxtSense, which have some great UI changes, which makes the phone look great in my opinion. If you want std. htc sense rom and look, leedroid is a decent rom, and if you want to play around with a rom without sense like the nexus one, you should try cyanogen mod or opendesire
Thanks, friends. Slowly finding my way about these tricks.
Dunno if it is a coincidence - I've never experienced "crash" issues but earlier today, the HTC launcher crashed and I had to live w/o the home screens for a few minutes.
Any idea why this might have happened?
As regards A2SD+
I found this bit by Googling...
1) Download and install MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition.
2) Backup the contents of your SD card somewhere.
3) Connect the SD card to your PC. Make sure it shows up as a drive in My Computer.
4) Load up the Partition Wizard applicatiion.
5) Select your memory card in Partition Wizard (usually at the bottom, look for the drive letter to make sure you don't delete a hard disk). It should have a partition already, probably FAT32 formatted. You need to right click on every partition within your memory card and click Delete.
6) It won't delete right away, these tasks will be added to the panel on the left. Click Apply to make it happen. This will obviously delete everything!
7) You should now have a single chunk of unallocated memory which is the entire storage capacity of the card. Right click on this and choose 'Create'.
8) In the options set 'Create As' to 'Primary' and the file system to FAT32. Leave Cluster Size as default and ignore the drive letter.
9) Now drag the bar below from the right to set the unallocated space after this partitiion. The large FAT32 partition is where your music, videos, pictures and other files will be stored so this needs to be the largest. Make sure you have plenty of room for everything you need. The space after it is where apps will live. Around 512MB should be sufficient though if you're going to be downloading lots of games and other large programs then make it a bit bigger. Click Ok to finish.
10) Now right click and 'Create' on the remaining unallocated space, ignoring the warning message that pops up. Set to Primary again, but this time in File System select 'Ext3' (you can also use Ext2, Google it if you're interested in the differences and want to read lots of debate about which is better). Don't change the size of the partition. Click Ok.
11) Now click Apply and let it do its stuff. Once finished you should have one FAT32 partition and one Ext3. Note that the Ext3 will not be visible through Windows normally so you can't browse the files, but you can delete it and format the entire card back to FAT32 via Partition Wizard.
Important: since all your apps will be stored on the SD card instead of the phone, switching the phone on without the card inside will cause problems, you may not even be able to boot properly. And if you change cards you'll need to make sure you copy the contents of the Ext3 partition to the new card.

I guess ext2/3 terms are Linux-related terms which I am not familiar with... Do I go ahead with this way of enabling A2SD+?
(I suppose folks who rooted without using Unrevoked have another way to enable A2SD+)
Thanks!
Ext2/3 is a linux partition type. Android can use this, because it is of course based of linux. The best thing you can do is backup your sd card and boot into the clockwordmod recovery. From there you can partition your sd card for a2sd+.
I have a 4gb sd card with a 512 mb ext3 partition for my apps.
Hope it helps!
Oh great... Thanks!
So... Does this method actually "fool" the device in to believing that the internal memory is 140ish + what we assign from the memory card?

Yep, but you'll still see it displayed separately. Most of the app's will go to ext partition, only data will stay on internal space. I recommend Quick System Info app for checking space (and bunch of other stuff).
Thanks!

I have a quick question related to all this. I just rooted my desire with unrevoked 3.21 and a recovery image has been installed and it is version 2.5.0.7 of clockworkmod, I guess the latest.
Then I read other posts where people suggest to use rom manager and one of the options is "install clockworkmod" ... but if I have already installed it why should I need it again? Do ROM manager and unrevoked install in different places may be different versions of clockworkmod? then which is the one that will be used booting in recovery? Does this mean that the recovery image installed by unrevoked could be deleted somehow..? There are a lot of controversial explanations in the forums and I really dont have any idea which one to believe. Any expert could explain in easy terms? Thanks

More space on CM7: App2SD+, Partition tables etc.

Hi -
I'm getting ready to install CM7 onto my phone, but I'm needing some guidance on getting more storage space out of it. I was going to opt for the App2SD_+ script, but reading through the forums, a lot of people seem to be recommending S-Off'ing the device and installing CM7 partition tables? How is this better? What are the steps? What does S-Off allow you to do that App2SD doesn't. Is this safe and fully tested?
Thanks.
With CM7 Layout you will have plenty of space for apps in internal storage (300mbs aprox). Using this layout all your apps will run in internal storage which in theory is faster than your SD Card, getting more perfomance. However with this layout you can't flash radios using recovery due to a small cache partition, and some ROM's will not fit in new layout, beacuse you will only have 130mb for System.
If you want to do it, go to http://alpharev.nl. It's fully tested and safe. The only risky part is flashing new HBOOT when you S-OFF.

So if I understood correctly, using CM7 partition tables simply gives you more space on your internal memory (as opposed to making the system think a segment of the SD card is 'internal memory'), and by such, the apps you install on your phone are faster, and the method is overall more safer (less likelihood of corrupting SD card etc.)
What if I wanted to have more than 300mb of internal storage to install apps (say 1 GB)? is App2Sd the best method for me?

Yes, check Cyanogen Mod post At the bottom of first post.
Also, you can flash Darktremor A2SD afterflashing CM7 (without boot). After first boot, use connectBot, terminal emulator or simply ADB shell, a type
Code:
a2sd reinstall
Glad i found this post as i was just asking this in another forum. I'm using the stable CM7 and was looking for the best option between:
S2E for CM7 (easy to use)
Darktremors Script (used it on Gingervillain and pretty easy to use)
Custom MTD Partitions (as per your post, also heard it's faster and more stable)
Still researching but any opinions would be appreciated.

[Q] A2SD+ and low internal memory

I haven't found really good explanation on forum and most of post on this seems not to be answered so I'm posting to see if I can get this sorted.
I used Leedroid, InsertCoin, and now on GingerVillian now. All of them had same setting of 500MB ext partition. Problem is I always seems to get low internal memory no matter what ROM I use. Currently I have 394MB free SD-EXT and 16MB Internal.
I moved adobe flash to SD card which seems to free up space and Dalvik Cache is on SD-Ext.
So question is why even though I have lot of EXT space left is it not being used and is there way to make it use it more instead of internal memory?

App2SD is flawed because of this, say you have an app 20mb, 15mb would be put on to the SD card and the rest go's to internal, so you will still use up space and in the end will have to start uninstalling.
Best way is to use a Rom with data2SD witch give's you 2gb internal memory.

Data2SD RoM problems solved
One could also flash a new hboot which increases the size of the /data-partition. However you need s-off for this and it's imho riskier than flashing a rom with data2sd. Whereas i work with a2sd + cm7 hboot and i am very happy it.
Desire with Cool Sensation v7
Hi,
I have this problem too. but it is not our choice to choose the data2sd instead of app2sd because it depend on what the ROM support.
Previously I use App2sd+ from ModaCo ROM. I have 200+ apps and it take the internal memory nearly full but sd-ext space just half.
I tried the Data2sd for Desire is only SuperNova with HTC Sense and it work in 1Gb sd-ext. BUT it uses Sense 2.1.
I just try Sense 3 from Cool Sensation v7 ROM. I love it and dont want to revert back to previous Sense It have 3D home screen, cool weather animation, SMS secure lock. However this ROM still use app2sd. I cannot post to the thread, I dont have enought post count.
I try some other way to apply Data2sd into this ROM but I got boot loop.
After few days I use this ROM, my internal memory almost full (15mb free) for only 57 apps even the app2sd symlink-ed /data/app, /data/app-private, /data/dalvik-cache and /system/app into sd-ext!
Expert please help me and give me some idea.
Do I need to symlink /data/data into sd-ext manually?
Is it possible to remove app2sd in the ROM and install Data2sd? How?
Data2sd require busybox, init.d and ext4 kernel support. I think this ROM have all this thing.
HTC Desire
Hboot S-Off with Revolutionary
4ExtRecovery
Cool Sensation v7 ROM
8Gb Class 2 sd card with Fat32 + 1Gb ext4
And have some basic in Linux shell
I can 100% get my head around this either, although i did install some apps and i could really tell if it was on Internal or EXT4.
From my understanding, as far as the phone os, it thinks apps are on Internal and will decrease the size counter, but apps are on EXT4 if you use a file manager etc.. but even if all goes to EXT4, we still get that annoying LowDisk message was it get to 15megs...
I still was convinced, but i accidently decided i wanted to format my FAT32 partition, mainly to get rid of all the junk that on there since STOCK Rom. I used the Phone own Format SD Card option.
Well that was fun (NOT!!) it instead formatted the EXT4 and not the FAT32, when i rebooted all the loaded apps that were on EXT4 were now gone.
Phone still works, but one side effect of this is now i have like 270megs free....lol, granted no wallpaper, lockscreens etc,
anyway seeing as i screwed up and that im already S-OFF, im going to just go with CM7r2 HBoot.
Similar issue - I think?
Hi all, my first post here
So I have been working my way through all the error messages and guides and finally have InsertCoin set up. All is looking good except after Titanium Backup restored all my apps my internal memory is as full as before I rooted the phone, so I think I can safely say that the 2gb I partitioned off on my SD is not getting ay use at all? Is there a way I can check?
For the record I am running with AmonRa, and I used Revolutionary to get s-Off. The guide I followed to set up A2SD did not have me using any Terminal commands, so I am guessing that is an area for me to explore in solving this, here is the guide I used (near the end)

I am hoping there is an easy fix that someone can suggest.

To check if a2sd is working, open terminal emulator and type
Code:
su
ls -l /data
Output should say (for a2sd):
Code:
app -> /sd-ext/app
app-private -> /sd-ext/app-private
Additionally for a2sd+:
Code:
dalvik-cache -> /sd-ext/dalvik-cache
If it does not show this, a2sd is not working. So make sure you partitioned sd card correctly (fat32 + ext; both primary).

I used Cool Sensation v7 but didn't have this problem until I flashed the newer v9 (just noticed v10 has been posted today though). My internal memory was very low but I then flashed the Dalvik to sdext.zip from the Cool Sensation thread and then had 180MB internal free. Try that and see if it works. If it doesn't, have you aligned your SD ext using the .zip on the same thread? if not this could be why your having problems, though it didn't work for me.
Thanks for the ideas, I was a bit out of my depth with the Mac SU functions, so although i didn't get the desired feedback you suggested, but it could have been me. So anyway I found a Ubuntu machine and plugged in the SD card in an adapter and can see that there is a successful partition, and that the EXT partition seems to have some files and folders in it.
I have also just noticed that the SD cards partitions also appear in the Titanium Backup overview screen.
So i guess my problem is that the memory is just full! Maybe my expectations of extra memory after rooting were unrealistic. ?
For the Record, just to make sure my situation is normal, in Titanium I see
System ROM - 262MB (129MB free)
Internal - 158MB (15MB free) - is this just a section of system ROM above?
SD CARD - 13.8GB (11GB free)
SD Card (a2sd) - 1.9GB (1.5GB free)
@xybadog this is my update,
@hoads1234 just want to share with you,
I use Cool Sensation v7, the internal memory full can be solved by flashing the additional zip for stock hboot but I flash non stock hboot. Why?
After some studying, now I know why expert keep asking for my hboot. Hboot define the data partition. On the phone memory, it divided into system, cache and data partition. the hboot define the partition size. For stock hboot, you will only have 147Mb for HTC Desire. Whatever the custom ROM symlink'ed some data partition, we stuck on 147Mb. If you flash like CM7r2 hboot, you will get more room (300+Mb) on data but just enough for system. "Internal memory" is referring to data partition.
Now I still have 130Mb free internal memory after installing 90 apps without wiping any cache for about 2 weeks.
I dont have Ubuntu even I know how to use it. No time to install or make virtual machine. To partition your sdcard easily without linux, use 4ExtRecovery. It is CWM based recovery plus support for Ext4 and some features like partitioning, check for aligned sd-ext and mount as disk drive.
To check for your current internal partition. boot into recovery, and use ADB to run command "df -h". The /system /data and /cache is the thing you need to look for.
You could use the cyanogenmod rom, then install s2e app from market. That app is designed purely for use with cyanogenmod. I use this combo, I have a huge amount of apps installed and still 50mb of internal space free. No need for changing your hboot or using data2sd rom. Very simple fix
Sent from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
okay thanks, I am still happy having a go with InsertCoin, so I will have a look at the hboot.
I think i read somewhere that i could do it just like adding a new ROM and copying a zip file across, so time for some more forum reading to work my way through this next step.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1110921
okay here is my update, since in have revolutionary hboot, i tried to change to alpharev, so i could use their modified partition tables (found no reference of being able to do this in Revolutionary) - the folks on alpharev irc said not to, but didn't say why.
I did try and use the unrevoked tool to flash AmonRa across again, but this had a waiting for reboot error and may have failed. I have also reflashed my ROM again after a full wipe a couple of times. Not finding any improvements in memory, so will keep fiddling.
okay next question!
I tried the terminal emulator commands (once i worked out this was an app, and not the Mac terminal..) and got the following responses
app -> /system/sd/app
app-private ->
dalvik-cache ->
so am i guessing correctly that none of the apps i download are being sent to the SD partition.
Any advice to get app-private directed to my sd card?

I suggest you use ADB instead of terminal emulator because easy to type in PC.
Install Android SDK make ADB shell to work and connected to your device. The shell is just the same what you need to do in terminal emulator.
To move app private and dalvik cache simply make symlink like this:
Code:
busybox cp -a /data/dalvik-cache /system/sd/
rm -rf /data/dalvik-cache
ln -s /system/sd/dalvik-cache /data/dalvik-cache
The first will move all contents, the second will remove the existing original dalvik-cache folder. and the third one will make symlink to point from original location to the sd partition.

Hello all!
1st post and 1st day registered, thought ive been monitoring desire activity in these forums since 2011. Thank you al for the help provided through these years.
THE BACKGROUND
I have been using HTC Desire for about a year with oxygen rom and was more than pleased with the results. after that i had to give away my phone to my wife, for some time, in witch i flashed stock rom (some women cannot appreciate the use of custom/rooted phone!?!? haha) .
Now the phone is back in my hands, and as much as i would like, oxygen is outdated (or better say non existent).
THE QUESTION
Is there a current rom JB+ (up to date) that meets the speed and stability standards set by Oxygen2.3.2 with Data2sd support(or data2everywhere) and preferably without sense UI ? i currently have a class4 4gb microsd partitioned with ~3.5gb Fat32 / 512mb ext4 partition.
Thank you again for your time
PS: i have tried some roms around, but ive found them a bit slower even in touch experience , than GB AOSP roms.
In short, doubt you'll find a JB ROM that matches the speed and stability of Oxygen or GB AOSP ROMs. Oxygen still is one of the most stable ROMs despite being abandoned, mine is still based on it. Just because it isn't updated doesn't necessarily make it bad .
The only way would be to keep trying a few JB ROMs yourself, see if they are good enough for your standards. (I don't think any of them have Sense UI).
Data2sd is a bit different, most ROMs now just use normal A2SD, moving apps and dalvik to the sd-ext, JB ROMs tend to need to be activated by terminal commands (read the OP of the threads / search), so you don't have to flash anything extra.
512MB ext4 partition is a bit small, you might run out of space on it depending on how many apps you want to install. Consider repartitioning it to ~1.5GB if you can afford the space, do this using 4EXT recovery or gparted only.

i found a working copy of flashable Oxygen 2.3.2 but im having trouble enabling A2SD support on it. you see, all Oxygen specific guides are on "404 page not found" state, and i have no memory of what i did to install it 2 years ago.
i tried as i said a couple of other roms, and none matched the speed of GB Oxygen
Thank you for your time,
Dimitris

Try the one in my sig, it's no longer being developed, but based on Oxygen 2.3.2. It works best in terms of space if you are s-off with cm7r2 hboot.
You don't have to do anything with this one to activate A2SD, it's already built in. As long as the partition is properly created in gparted or 4EXT recovery, just keep apps on internal (don't 'move to SD') and apps and dalvik will be tricked to sd-ext. You won't see your actual internal memory read 'internal + sd-ext', but the A2SD is working.
UPDATE:after a few hours of testing, and flashing, I managed to find Working copies of oxygen 2.3.2 and compatible version of a2sd.
Today I will upload those files to my server for distribution, along with a «short guide» post in case anyone wants pure oxygen experience on his desire.
Regards
Dimitris

So here we go,as promised
I have no responsibility for any data loss or phone damage. worked as is on my HTC Desire Bravo

i cannot post links untill i get 10 posts . so...

iIF you have CWRecovery V3+ you have to flash an older version, in order to be able to flash the a2sd above. You downgrade using Android Flasher.
Steps that worked for me:
1 Create 2 partitions on SD, one FAT32 and one ext3 (using Gparted)
2 Put the above zips in Fat32 partition
3 Boot phone to recovery
4 Full wipe/Factory default and cache
5 install Oxygen rom using "install zip from SD card" option
6 Start oxygen rom, and let it boot for first time, also let it settle for few minutes.
7 Reboot to Recovery
8 Install a2sd script using "install zip from SD card " option
9 Reboot phone.
Done
When it boots enter google account and download a Terminal Emulator . To check if all is ok you shoud run
Code:
su
Code:
a2sd diskspace
and you should see the partition recognized as internal with the space used and left.
Job Done. i run this install for 2 days now with no problems at all
Hope i helped,
Dimitris.
Just a few points:
- Did you switch hboot before you flashed the ROM? This would get you even more space. If you're still on stock hboot you're wasting a lot of space on /system partition.
If it's the latest version of Oxygen it should fit onto OxygenR2 hboot with 100MB /system.
- Good you used gparted , ext4 over ext3 would have been slightly faster, not that much of a big deal though.
- Can I ask where you got the A2SD script from and how does it work? Does it move apps and dalvik automatically? Does the internal memory read 'internal + sd-ext', or is it hidden like a lot of A2SD scripts but working as normal?
Just asking, I know you've put a disclaimer at the top, but it's useful just in case for anybody in the future using this. They should be informed exactly what they're flashing and at least in basic terms how and what it does.

I am not sure that oxygen supports ext4 and thats why igot the safe path to ext3. Using Gparted was oneway for me , because i only have linux systems on my home/work

this particular A2SD is probably a previous version of darktremmors. i found it on my backups, and uts the one i used when oxygen forums were live. it does move apps automaticaly i am not sure about davik ,and dunno how to check it ,internal reads only internal memory, but works like a charm.. you can make sure it works, by installing tons of apps and checking "a2sd diskspace"
PS sorry for all that info missing, its my first post about roms, i will probably get better while upping my post count

In other words you're s-off, but still on stock hboot. This is wasteful like I said, your /system size is 250MB, but you're using less that ~95MB, wasting over 150MB
If you switch to OxygenR2 hboot, the system size is 100MB, you'll waste only 5MB, and the rest gets converted to extra internal memory...total 332MB instead of 147MB...i.e. more space for apps
Nandroid backup, download hboot from here, recommend to flash using fastboot, nandroid restore.

ext4 is dependent on the A2SD script rather than the ROM. Most will say if they support it. I believe darktremor did support it when I used it on a different phone.

You can manage it using this
You can keep dalvik on internal for now, sometimes better for speed if you don't have a high class sd card.
However, on stock hboot, you only have 147MB for app data and dalvik in this case. It may work now, but if you start to install more apps, on stock hboot you can easily still run out of space quite quickly. 332MB /data partition (internal memory) on OxygenR2 hboot allows for much more space for apps.
A better way to check your memory I always recommend is an app called DiskUsage, you'll be able to browse all your partitions. Install it now, you'll see all the free (wasted) space on your /system partition I mentioned earlier.

That's fine, at least you're trying to help rather than many others who just post unnecessarily just to post in dev threads (unnecessarily). You don't have to up your post count to learn, you get that from reading
