Thanks! For some reason KC1 has been no good for me on recent builds. I have a Micro Cell at home and it crashes my phone forcing a soft reboot when I have low Micro Cell signal like in the garage. JL2 seems to have no issues with it even if I have low Micro Cell signal.

guess this is why my modems weren't flashing...
always something newer...
thanks.

a good radio for italy? specifically i have vodafone it . thanks

This is the exact same thread as mine...but less modems

There's a lot of talk about "new" modem packages with no mention of why we need this... The last I heard of this was that, ever since SGS CM7 nightly #15 or so, there is a new layout for the modem partition. Has something changed again?
Radios are available here: http://goo-inside.me/galaxys/radios/
From the CM7 SGS FAQ: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/24169-faq-cm7-on-the-samsung-galaxy-s/

this was a while back when the buildbot was broken...so codeworkx made some bastard nightlys on his spare time ...so idk where to get a link to the changelog ...he did this so that the radio wouldn`t crash that often. but that presented a battery drain while connected to 3g/h. ... also.. check out my thread... :-|

The new radio refers to the new radio partition layout, if you use an old radio your phone might not be able to connect to cell towers or wifi

Source for Android 2.2 Froyo I9000XXJPM is online

Just search for i9000. I assume this means that JPM is the final 2.2 release
Finally. Now we can finally get voodoo on 2.2 and cm will come faster.

Does this mean, that JPM is official froyo for i9000?
Does that also mean that the market will work with it?

Urgh. Downloaded and flashed JPM. no one was posting about it, so I flashed JP6. Reflashing JPM right now. >_<

Well seems to be an orange rom instead of an arabian. Radio is the same. Probably some orange bloatware in it.
Hey football how about sharing the actual ruu for tmobole g2?
New hboot too:
hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0010_101227.nb0
RUU_Vision_HTC_WWE_1.72.405.2_Radio_12.28e.60.140f_26.04.02.17_M2_release
has hboot_7230_Vision_HEP_0.85.0008_101117.nb0
same version as in the Egypt ROM.
Unlike the Arabian version, this one is actually 2.2.1:
ro.build.version.release=2.2.1
ro.build.date=Mon Jan 31 23:15:12 CST 2011
ro.build.date.utc=1296486912
The Arabian was 2.2 right?
And now again to 2.2.1

Correct.
And I don't see much of any Orange bloatware either.
2.2 then at this on 2.2.1 again,that`s

you will update this to Virtuous ROM

haha didn't check the date! Thanks for the heads up! I'm having a bit of difficulty finding a radio that gives good battery life. What radio would you recommend..?
I've found that the newest official Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2 (from the link in your signature) gives me the best battery life and I've tried almost all radios.

Nice1 thanks. I used it a few weeks ago and then changed for some reason, prob just to see what else was out there. I recall it being excellent.
So, is the radio's performance dependant on the ROM in way way? Also, what RIL are you using?
Not really no and almost all roms are based on the official gingerbread update and the radio came with it so the roms should be optimized for it anyway. RILs should always match the radio you're using, but the newest custom roms should already include the matching RILs for the radio I suggested.

THX I NEED it
the newest radio is the best mate...
Just posted this update in the Recommended ROM/RADIO/RIL/KERNEL Combinations thread..
Flashed the Telus radio: 12.35d.60.140fP_26.06.03.24_M2 and it's using 3-4mA per minute in stand-by. It's pretty much the best I've tested so far. I'm going to stick with it: http://www.multiupload.com/4CQ8919NO6
what ril are you using with that radio? This one 12.35d.60.140fP_26.06.03.24_M2
the 1003g one? I;ve tried flashing that ril and cannot get it to work?

The RIL's in my signature.
Remember, you have to mount /system in cwm before you flash it. Just look in one of the menus within cwm and you'll see mount /system. Select it and then flash the RIL as your would flash a rom or anything else, from your SD card.

Haven't looked at the changelog, but I am certain this only contains bugfixes. It is still 4.1.2.
Worth reading this article, http://androidspin.com/2012/12/11/s...-ii-lte-gt-7105-getting-android-4-1-2-update/, but not sure since build number is not listed. Just says JZO54K.

I just flashed and everything seems to be working fine. There is a new NFC icon that shows up by the radio & battery icon.
That's the only thing I've seen that is new. There are new apps too, I think.
I will be trying out the wallet hack in a little bit. I'll update to let you guys know if it worked.
Thanks, teshxx, for the good work.
