[Q] Problems with Hardware Keyboard

I have some problems with not being able to change the language for text prediction when i use my Hardware Keyboard. I have asked 4 times in the thread for my ROM (located at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1067371 ) Without getting any answer..
i have no problems with my software keyboard at all, i can change between swedish and english language and it works perfectly, but when i try to change to swedish when i use my hardware keyboard i don't have any other language in the list than english..
Can anyone please help me? I have tried several things without any luck.
Thanks!
Hi, I just checked and the issue is there for me as well on a stock DZ (Slovakia). I tried changing the locale of the phone but no difference..
I guess the only thing you can do is to ask HTC..

Keyboard after Root with Gingerbread
A friend of mine root my G2 with Gingerbread. It is working great but I realize that some keys from the keyboard are not working. Example: The letter E send me to the e-mails, P to Music, S doesnt work, L send me to Calendar, C to Contacts, ect. How can I fix this issue?

No i don't think HTC can or will help me with the issue, besides that i made a backup and tried another ROM yesterday and there was no problems at all.. (just to be clear: i went back to the ROM i have the keyboard issues with after that, just because i like the ROM)
i guess it's up to the developer of the ROM to make it work, but when you ask in the thread 4 times without even getting an answer you get tired and start asking others for help
i got keychar files from another rom, does anyoen know how to install them? tried with adding them to an Update.zip but cwm aborted the installation, i guess i need some sort of install script?

From what rom did you grab them from and which files did you grab? I'll see if I can create an update zip for you.

RadioComm v11.11.11

Here we have it,
RadioComm support tool, used for Motorola Handsets.
I found the link somewhere on the net
This is the latest edition i have found so far,
Good Luck
http://www.mediafire.com/file/62wwr6qw68qvrb6/RadioComm_v11.11.11_Install.msi
Like the availability, Bump the 'Thanks' button. ;]
Guide on how to actually use Radiocomm 11.11.11?
I've only seen screen shots for it but it has a lot of options and looks like a really complex program. All I need it for is to simply flash SPRecovery.spf on my phone when I root it. So could anyone link me to a Radiocomm flashing guide or at least tell me what I need and what to do and if I need to do it before or after rooting? Thanks and I've rooted a lot but never changed recoveries, all the one click root apps give me recoveries that I hate such as RA-eris V1.6.2 because they are a pain. I'm manually rooting my Eris [I've already done manual rooting before] and just choose my own recovery and SPRecovery has gotten a lot more kudos than RA-eris v1.6.2 [Amona Ra?] and ClockworkMod. If anyoen also knows of any other recovieres they like better than please let me know, but for now just a good how to guide for flashing with Radiocomm. Thanks a lot in advance guys! =]
Hi There,
I apologize for not having any links off hand, (though i may be able to update int he future).
I know i have ran across a few guides for radiocomm on the internet... Try using Google.com, and keep an eye out for .pdf files..
I am sure you can tinker around in the menu's also... It is a very robust program...
And, just curious... Did you mean to say .SBF file? instead of .spf?
Good Luck
Here You Go,
I found an older manual for Radiocomm... Idk where i found it, or how helpful it may be... but it's a step in understanding...
Good Luck
yep this tool is interresting...
Here is version 11.12.2
Thanks for posting these files but I can't get them to work. They will not find any of my phones. I have the motorola drivers installed and my puter finds the phone but the radiocomm program won't connect, it stays red. I am running windows 7 with motorola 5.5 drivers, net framework 4 is installed. I tried it in compatability mode, the phones are set to pc mode. my phones are a droid 2 global, and two are a bionic. Can someone please help me out?? Thanks!
For all to know.
The low level tools are written for use with WinXP or lower.
Use with a newer Windows in XP-Mode at your own risk.
That's why to keep an old XP machine (or Win2K) on hand.
Good info everyone!!

Well technically the most important thing with these kind of programs is the bits. Most of them are written for 32bit OS.
I'm using win8 32bit and all of my tools work fine. Just used Radiocomm today and yesterday to read some info from some older motorolas.
Granted not *everything* will work. I had to use Blackberry Desktop Manager 6.0 or newer to get it work right.
5.0.1 or older would BSOD on me when I tried to do too much with the RIM Virtual Serial Port.
How to use this program to enable the FM radio on my Motorola phone? Someone claims to have done this using this program but he's not responding to requests for more information. I've installed the program but don't want to brick my phone. In the past I've messed with other programs like QPST and QXDM to enable additional bands so I'm not an entire newbie. Thank you.

M99 Google 4s

So I recently bought the m99 from fastcardtech, and rooted it easily with SuperOneClick. I am unable however to install ClockworkMod in any way or form on the device. It identifies itself as a G2x in the model, uses a MTK 6573 processor.
Anyone else have this phone and figure out a way, I'm completely lost and have search for a good week now trying to figure out a way to get ClockWorkMod on this thing.
(also I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, since there is no forum for my phone model).
Hi There ,
would you please tell me where can i download the original ROM or a full backup for this phone .. i got this phone yesterday and i managed to root it and delete all the chinese apps .
Thanks

Hello
You have the M99 with Ui iphone?
Did you have the room original? Was nice we get this room available, before try the OC and new rooms.
Any bugs find yet?
Thanks
help me too.. is this a bug?
Did you have the market worked on your phone?
My version is 2.3.6 from android, but the markets i install open, then when i try to download some app they market (process com.vending.android) has stopped unexpectedly
You have this problem to?
Guys ..
To root this phone you have 2 options :
1- SuperOneClick 2.3.3
2- The Chinese root
both are listed at a thread called (Gooapple v5 issues) on this fourm . you also need to install the the drivers for this phone which btw are the same drivers for the GooApple v5 , cuz both phones use the MTK6573 .
for the market problem .. try to install an older market ver.
now I have the phone , but unfortunately things went south couple days ago when i installed some fonts from the android market and forgot to change the permissions . the phone now is stuck at start up logo ,, i tried the wipe and restore to factory options but nothing worked .. the only way i can get it to work is to flash it with the original rom again .i've contacted Fastcardtech to get the update.zip rom for the M99 Google 4s+ , but i haven't heard from them .
so if you have the update.zip rom for M99 Google 4s+ please post a link so i can download it ..
Thanks
Thanks for reply!

i'm looking for both now (rom and a reliable recovery) that can actually work on our phones
i've been looking through the chinese forums in the last couple days , but still no luck .. the problem is the name M99 dosn't exist in thier forums they only have the old ver M98 .. so our phone must have a different name other than M99 ...
i can't really remember which market ver worked , i've tried alot of versions but i'm sure the one that worked was one of the old vers . i wish my phone was working so i can help ya there .
yes i got it from fastcardtech and it has the 2.3.6 with UI rom .
i'll keep looking and i will let you know .
Thanks
Did you try the cyanongean??
How can i help you with the rom??
Did you try root your phone and install any rom?
If you know how can i do to save this rom and send to you it's ok i try.
For the market i used other one apdroid i guess the name and works
How do you enter on recovery wipe?? What you install to get the phone stuck!?
Thanks

Hi guys, I am from the thread "Gooapple v5 issues" I could maybe help you as it is almost the same device.
@IIIVIII What happened to your phone?
Great News ..
i finally gained access to my phone's root while looping through Android Commander and i've managed to reset the permissions to the fonts and now the phone is alive and kicking
@ von275 & Mouratti .. Thank you guys for offering to help i really appreciate it .
here's how to get any Androidmarket ver working on the M99 :
1- root your phone.
2- install root explorer (attached)
3- copy the attached file (Vending) to your phone's root (system/app) and make sure u set the permissions as follows:
Owner: Read /Write
Group: Read
Others: Read
To make Google sync work for contacts do the same as the above steps for these attached files :
1-GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter
2-GoogleContactsSyncAdapter
btw. with root explorer you can remove all the unwanted chinese apps like youku etc. from your root (system/app) just don't go wild ..
i'll be coming back later on with more tweaks ..

I didn't try, im noob in this, and im afraid stuck my device.
Which room is it?
@von275
the stock recovery on the M99 only allows the official M99 update.zip rom to be installed .. it won't allow the gooapple nor any other rom to be installed trust me i've tried .. besides the M99 has 2 sims and a different screen so i really doubt that it would work even if we try it with a recovery that allows custom roms ...
@Mouratti
i don't have the official rom yet we should all e-mail Fastcardtech and ask them to provide the official rom for us to download .. sooner or later somthing will go wrong with our android sys and we will need to flash the official rom again .
regarding the calender .. i will look into it when i get home hopefully there's a simple fix for it .

I'm not sure those rooting apps will work with the desire z... have u tested them? I rooted a long while ago, so i might not be up to date with rooting stuff, but afaik to root our device it had be done manually, or ud have a big risk of bricking... As for the other tools, i think having a link to the htc drivers is the most usefull... but anyways, thanks for caring and putting this stuff up, might come in handy some day

Nokia N1 A5CNB19 and A5FMB19 ROM files here

In a quest to replace the Chinese ROM on my tablet with the Taiwanese/global one, I found this helpful thread. Yet the key A5FMB19_update.zip file was missing. Luckily, after some search I managed to find a copy in the internet, together with the original A5CNB19.
Here are the files (re-uploaded to MEGA):
A5FMB19_update.zip (Taiwanese/global; with Google Play Services, Google Play Store, language supports, etc.)
A5CNB19_update.zip (Chinese)
Both are tested and confirmed working on my Nokia N1.
Thank you.
Hi, i just used the ROM file, and upgraded my old N1. Everything was just fine.
Many, many thanks to you, online.id. My N1 had been 'bricked' for over a year. Now it works well.
All the best wishes!
Also would like to confirm that both ROMs are working for me. I was searching for a long time now after I bricked my N1.
Many thanks.
Hi, the urls are dead, could you pls post it again or is there anyone that has the access to the zip. My N1s bricked and I did nothing other than using it as a bookreader.
PLEASE, I need help...
