New Netflix app 1.3 works on Elocity A7! - A7 Themes and Apps

I had given up hope, but thought I'd try the new Netflix App (1.3 build 246) on the market. It works, AND streams video flawlessly! I'm on Elocitymod 1.42a.
EDIT: just tried this version from user Dblfstr, which supports screen rotation, works on the A7

I confirm this finding, works great

Yes, use fullHDMI, available from the market now. It's $5, but it's the most universal solution out there and you will be certain to have compatibility. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.orrebmas.fullhdmi
SavagedZen kernel will give you 720p output if you have an AOSP rom, and Netarchy kernel will do it for Sense.
Even if you aren't rooted, just on a stock rom, stock kernel, it will still work, and looks great.
Or just download Team Win's HDMI app from XDA or the market. It works just as well and is completely free.
ive been using teamwin since it came out and it mirrors the whole system so it should work for netflix
Teamwin works great. I just can't get the audio to play so I run a line from my headphone Jack to my receiver.

HDMwIn ftw... lack of landscape with the app while using hdmi pissed me off.I made the Netflix app work in landscape if anyone is interested http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1083133
Thanks.. I went with TeamWin.. Didn't work so I went to Kernel: Netarchy 4.3.4 CFS SBC HAVS. This seemed to of fixed it.
Works pretty good on NetFlicks. Audio is fine.
I'm using Konis ELite Series III for a ROM.
Not sure what the difference on the kernal is between SBC and NoSBC.
Teamwins mirroring app never worked for me, it always just froze and stayed unresponsive. So I bought the other mirroring app, works great.

That's exactly what it did on my phone no matter what kernel I tried. Orrebmas's version works good. I had some older lib.so issues and he was very quick to respond and help me out. The thing that sucks is this should just be a native part of the EVO, shouldn't have to install a third-party app from the Market...paid or free!

Why is the Epic not capable with the standard version?

"The catch is that YouTube HD res won't work on every Android 2.2 or 2.3 phone or tablet, as we're told it is set dynamically based on screen size and resolution." Richard Lawler engadget
Aha
I can confirm the Modified Youtube APK WIFI+3G working on Stock Rooted EL30 for the Epic 4G. Instead of the usual High Quality, the videos are viewed in HD.
It's a tough call, as the resolution is the exact same size as when it was HQ. But I *think* I can notice the higher sampling. Nonetheless, I rather have this then not ever have the option.
Great!
I like this! My 3G speeds suck but this YouTube doesn't have the weird video artifacts in CM9 like the other one did.
Works like a charm on mine with cleangb, thanks!

i have my titanium backups synced with dropsync app into my dropbox and it works just fine!
if you have your dpi changed for tablet mode, try changing it back and then log in then change it back again.
this worked for me.
Dropbox works fine on its own, but trying to share a picture to Dropbox from the Downloads app crashes it. Happens to anyone else?
works perfectly fine for me =S

ESPN ScoreCenter

Hey gang, was wondering if anybody running a jb based TW rom can test if video playback works from within the ESPN app or in the browser (stock or chrome) from this website http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/ . App and site work fine with AOKP, AOSP jb and ics roms. Thanks.
Strange...I swear this was working a few days ago with Resurrection Rom, but now it isn't...from chrome I get:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to w88.m.espn.go.com

It worked fine in the app for my friends stock SIII. w88.m.espn.go.com is not a valid ESPN website that I am aware of and I deal with this stuff all day at work.
Works great on my phone as well.

[Q] Browser Youtube playback working if works in Youtube app

I have been using Marvellous CM10 ROM by djolivier(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206780) which is real great and smooth. Just one question: I tried watching Youtube in the stock browser, but somehow it does not work both lq and hq. It works perfectly in the Youtube app, though. I wonder if anyone has the same issues as me? Thanks to anyone who replies.
It's not working for me as well. But who cares, the YouTube app is great.
