This may sound funny, but there is the true blood live wallpaper. It's liquid of course but it's purely red.

i just finished loaded my .pngs to my sd & im trying right now
Edit: HELLS YEAH!!!!!! works like a champ perfect way to make your favorite bootanimation(up to 100 images...) into a LWP!!!!!!
not much of a battery/memory hog as long as you keep the fps down

Ok I'm in love with this app. I have all kinda ideas to waste away my sd card space. This thing barely uses any cpu/batt now that I've been testing for a lil while

[REQ] Nexus S TV lock ani

Can someone pull whatever code makes the Nexus S screen go off like a TV when you lock it and port it? It's awesome!
Seconded. Though I do find it funny that a natural process of a piece of archaic technology is something we now wish to have emulated on our high-end electronics for show.
Weird isn't it.. Lol

It's an xml within the framework res. It's in the anim folder and should be lock_on.xml or something to that nature. It would be easiest made as a metamorph. I'd do it but I got no way of testing. No longer an epic user.

so it would be in the lock_screen_exit/lock_screen_enter.xml?

black google search box from maddoggins 8 screen mod

anybody know where i can find that black google search box for the maddoggins lockscreen mod? Or which apk and files to pull to use it? I tried just pulling the google serach apk but that wasnt it. Any help is appreciated. I love that one but running eh17 and so cant flash it quite yet unless he decided to do it.
I think its google quick search box.apk
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Tried it and got the regular search box.. some reason on eh17 it didn't even let me install the apk even after I deleted from titan backup and rebooted
I think this is the one you want. Its almost a smoky black transparent one. I extracted it from White Shadow theme.. http://db.tt/GtgIki6. Make sure you are on Deodexed version of EH17. I don't think you will need to push it with a file manager.

Not sure if that's the one either.. it doesn't lok like any other search boxes I've seen.. its like a glossy black black and thinner.. I tried dling that link but it crashed my browser each time and when it did go through it wouldn't install at all even after removing the stock.. now gotta do a restore cause the search box isn't in sync wth the keypad. I actually have to click on the browser instead of just typing.. thanks anyways though

Stellar memory management apps!

2 free Market apps that really do the job:
MemoryBar Simple - Small status bar icon displaying free memory at 1 second intervals with seemingly no adverse effect on resources.
FMR Memory Cleaner - Wow, frees up memory like I have never seen. I was hovering around 100mb free, I used Fast Reboot Pro (up till now my go to memory free-up app) which freed up 70mb, which gave 170mb free, then tried FMR.. which resulted in 217mb free! Mind you, it did drop immediately to around 200, but the fact it frees up that much speaks for itself.
Seriously stellar apps.
Let me know how they work for you. Tips welcome. At least click "thanks".
Peace
Fab
They both work great!
I had to do a double take. I can't believe how much memory FMR shakes out.
I especially like MemoryBar! I though I had a good memory widget, but MemoryBar takes up very little real estate, and on the status bar at that. If you remove the background on it, it looks even better. Plus being able to have 1 second intervals with seemingly no impact on resources, makes it perfect for being able to know what is causing memory spikes and make sure my memory management apps actually do what they claim.
Thanks a tonne.

No problem. Ya i like deselecting the background on MemoryBar too. The background is kinda useless as it makes it harder to read anyways.
Thanks for the feedback.

And thanks for the feedback.
The only problem is FMR doesnt show up in the Market when using MIUI ROMs.
That's ok with me though. I don't mind just sticking to the other awesome ICS ROMs so long as I get that much memory freed up.
Took me from 70 to 220, dropped down to 155 by the time I wrote this message. Love the monitoring app.

I have 4 problems with CM9 alpha 4.
1.I can't move/organize any of my apps around in the app drawer.
2.I can't setup up the face unlock, I tried but it just doesn't work
3. Every time I download a new app it makes a shortcut on the home screen.
4.The clock app always force closes.

1. Get a different launcher, google nova launcher I think it has that ability.
2. You need to be in a clear place with plenty of light for facelock to configure and needs to be there for a good amount of time.
3. Go into the market go into settings and uncheck auto add widgets.

Thank you so much, but I already tested Nova Launcher, and I still cant edit my apps in the drawer.
It also helps to read the CM9 threads like the Tip Sharing thread in General if you don't want to wade through all the posts in the Development thread. The market tip was one of the first ones posted.

Fast Access (Advanced Floating Toolbox)

Hello guys, so finally i got the Galaxy s6 edge and i love it. awhile ago i have developed an application which is similar to Toolbox by samsung, but with Fast Access you can add infinite apps and apply themes and more advanced options, i have just yesterday released a Demo version of the application and added Mini-Size for the icons to use it within the edge of the screen, and its best if you use it with the Screen Edges option which will keep Fast Access always on one of the edges sides. you could give it try and help me improve it more on the edge.
Demo version: Fast Access Demo
PRO version Fast Access (Floating Toolbox)
please any suggestions or feedbacks will be really appreciated..
