[Q] [help] installing theme

ok so i got my SGS few days ago and i installed this rom:
SGSIL_PLX_JPY_V3.0 FullHebrew
and when i try to download a theme from the forum my device stuck in the opening screen and do nothing until i restore him.
im tired of this how do i optimize the themes for my rom?
Many themes are not supported for all ROMs.... and I wonder what ROM that is you are using, never heard of it ....
Ask on the thread if it supports your ROM before you flash a new theme
Peace
get either doc's or darky's rom. most of the themes work with their roms.
i from israel and its more comfortable for me to use hebrew ROM cause its my language and all my contacts and all those things...its still a JPY ROM and im sure that there is a way to optimize themes for this specific ROM

[Q] Updating 2.2 custom rom to 2.3

I'm trying to find out if it's possible up take one custom rom that's running 2.2 and update it or cook the rom and make it 2.3? What would i need to do this and are there any tuts out there for this?
The reason i ask is because i love the theme and color scheme from konis elite rom, but i want 2.3 so that i can use gtalk 1.3
Any help would be great.

Just look around for a Gingerbread rom that suits you,as far as what's working on that rom and what is not, mostly all the roms on XDA have custom themes for them, look around and see what there, you might find some thing way better then what you're looking for.

language support for gingerbread

hello guys
recently I installed the new stock gingerbread provided on the HTC developers site .it is good so far but the problem is it doesn't support Arabic which is important for me can anyone help me please

Try MIUI or Redux.

Upgrading rooted HTC Wildfire to android 2.2

Hi everyone. I've rooted my HTC Wildfire some time ago. But to do tthat I needed to downgrade to Android 2.2.1
I have the WildPuzzle Rom flashed on my phone.
Can I upgrade from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2.2/Gingerbread while I have the wildpuzzle rom flashed and my HTC rooted??
I really want the new android version and still be rooted.
Sorry if this has already been asked.
Thanks!!
WildPuzzle IS Android 2.2.1....
Other 2.3 ROM's are not HTC Sense Based (Except SFM, but it's incomplete). And, to install a Gingerbread ROM, just install the ROM like you installed WildPuzzle. Since they are all unofficial (i.e. Custom) ROMs, you wont lose root.
I am really not getting what you intention is. What is this ->? But to do tthat I needed to downgrade to Android 2.2.1. Did you have a Android 2.3 ROM originally?
3xeno Yes I had 2.3 Official ROM before I rooted the HTC. I know WildPuzzle is Android 2.2.1
All I want is a custom ROM (With Sense) with Android 2.2 OR 2.3 Gingerbread.

Can you link me to the official 2.3 ROM (On HTC's Website, or any other website for that matter)? I am pretty sure it doesn't exist, and I would love to be proved wrong.
I still can't get what you want. You say you want a Custom ROM with Sense on Android 2.2. Isn't WildPuzzle an Android 2.2 Sense ROM? Anyway, you can find the complete ROms listing available for theWildfire here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1029318
I have segregated it into Android 2.2 and 2.3, and further as Sense and No-Sense (AOSP), so, you should be able to find something to your liking.
Oh lol, yes my mistake. You're right. It was 2.2 Official ROM, not 2.3. Sorry for that. And no; WildPuzzle is Android 2.1
But thanks for the list! I got what I wanted.
(Ginger Yoshi ROM)
All I wanted is a Custom rom with android 2.3 or gingerbread.
Ginger Yoshi doesn't have Sense though, and you are (were) using the old version of WildPuzzle ROM (called WildPuzzle Eclair 1.0.1). There is a Froyo version of WildPuzzle as well (called WildPuzzle 2.2.1 0.8), but unfortunately, all links of that ROM are now dead. :/
It's redundant though, since you found what you were looking for.
Really? Lol, I didn't even know there were newer versions of WildPuzzle!
But thanks! I'll keep on searching for a ROM with sense; but Ginger Yoshi isn't bad at all. Works nicely

small keyboard Elitemovil Blade_Rom 2.3.5 (r8_v2) (MIX CM & LEAKED) (31/08/11) APP2SD

small keyboard Elitemovil Blade_Rom 2.3.5 (r8_v2) (MIX CM & LEAKED) (31/08/11) APP2SD
does anyone know if its possible to extract this keyboard and use it on another rom?
Im trying to install it on my 2.2 rom but it gives error
i love the small keyboard becouse of more room on my screen.
It's not possible by just copying the LatinIME.apk. You could try asking directly from elitemovil.
yea i did sendt him a Pm but no reponse, and shamefully i cant post in development forums
Yeah, quite weird policy in these forums!
