[Q] Desire doens't boot ROM

hy guys this morning i try to load a custom rom...i had the stock 2.29 rom...so this is what i do:
1- i rooted the desire
2-installed amon.RA recovery mod
3-partitioned the sd card in ext3
4-try to load the rom "Alex 1.4" but the desire stays in the HTC brand screen
5-try to load the rooted stock rom but the desire again stay there
i can acces to the recovery but how can resolve my problem???....please help me

have u made a total wipe of the system before loading the new rom

yeah i wipe all user data...in the option of the Ra recovery i have only the possibility to wipe all userdata,data,sd-ext,andrid.secure,dalvik cache.cahce,and rotate setting...what i have to do??

my problem was appened this morning,and all this time i was reading the stickies for a solution without succesfull...so i decided to post here my problem...if you know the solution let me know thanks
i'm downloading the stock rom 2.29 is an .exe format...what appen if i use this??..please help me....again thanks in advance

If you use the RUU you're downloading, your phone will be completely wiped and you will have an unrooted WWE rom installed.
You can then root again and try another rom if you want.

can any one can put the cm7's phone on the sense rom and can use it ???
it is because the sense rom's phone are very easy wrong touch to end the call.........
i want to change it to cm7's phone on it.............can any one help me or share some???

[Q] n00b to nightly (cm7)

Few n00b questions.
Firstly, how do i flash a nightly on my phone? lets say im running ofw 2.2 SEA edition? Do i follow the same procedure as if to flash RC1... do i also need to flash gapps similarly.
Secondly, are the links on quarxs' CM7 for defy thread up-to-date? or are there newer versions of gapps and nightlies floating around somewhere
Third, i have noticed that there is an issue with network and wi-fi when i flash cm7 RC1 over the nordic sbf. when i go back to official 2.2 SEA there is no hassle at all. Since i live in India i was wondering if that was the issue. I can easily take care of the network problem using "baseband switcher for defy" but it still doesnt help the wi-fi problem.
My question is.. will using the new BOOTSEA nightly solve this problem? From the name boot"SEA" im assuming its built southeastasia specific (i may be wrong).
Fourth, ive used CM7 RC1 for a while and apart from the wifi issue i got problems with camera and video... it absolutely doesnt work, wether it be in potrait or landscape or whatever setting... the app just force closes. Any fixes for that.. ive got green lens.
please help!!! and i hope other similar questions can be added by members here so as to make this thread an FAQ for distressed users like me.

[Q] Problems with Beta3 of ICS

Hi!
I really wanted to ask someone for help because I've been trying to get the new ICS Rom to my Xperia Play, the fact is that I've tried Cm7 but I wasn't satisfied with it, so I looked deeper inside xda forums and I finally came up with this:

I followed all the instructions written down but at last my phone didn't work.
It is always on the ics boot image. The thread says that the first boot may take some time, but how much? It's been more than 10 minutes and nothing happens.
Can anyone guide me to the whole instructions to see if I'm doing something wrong?

[Q] T-mob GS3 data doesnt work

I flash cwm with odin the the signal strengh is very low the internet doesnt work i download the 4.1.1 stock and flash via odian and the same problem continue i install the radio and the probkem continue i install the kernel and the problem continue i ins tall liquid custom rom and the same problem continue i dont know what to do..i change the apn and still the same problem..anyone can help with this???
