Problems with "xda-developers Special edition ROM"

Hi,
i´ve installed the xda-developers Special Edition ROM on my Wallaby. It works very well, but I want to have my German T-Mobile 2003 ROM back on it. Here´s the Problem: It wont accept the RUU! I can connect to the PDA with Active Sync and it does the sync well. But when I start the RUU Update it says "Please check your ActiveSync Connection" after a click on "OK" the message "The Connection Program cannot be executed. Please check your USB-Connection"
A similar Message appears when I try the O2 Germany Windows 2003 "Program A". It says: " A ROM-image for upgradeing the Pocket-PC isn´t detectable. Download it and try it again" (On German: ROM-Bild zum Upgrade des Pocket-PC nicht auffindbar. Downloaden Sie und machen Sie einen neuen Versuch")
But the xda-developers Special Edition ROM "Programm A" re-flash works!!
Please can somebody support me?? I need help because the PDA isn´t mine ^^

next build will be released the next days and will include some small changes and new apps like FM Radio and and the Audio Booster.
btw:
in my rom the EndKey app is started by press and hold the EndKey like it is meant for this app... (forgot to mention that)
could someone pleas try a SDHC card with this rom... I've made some changes to the SD drivers, but was not able to finally try it, cos i don't have this kind of SD card... as fare that I know SDHC was not working with other roms, please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I've put a mp3 file as ringtone in \Windows\Rings
But when want to choose that as a ringtone, it doesn"t appear in the list.
I can only choose that tone as ringtone for SMS not for phone!

I can't flash your Rom,still gettin' error 244/invalid model ID/.But i can flash any other rom i want.Any ideas?

I think it's because I did not use "1111..." for CID of the nbh. Until now I've only made Trinity/Hermes/Universal ROMs, so this is my first release for this device... Will correct it for the next release.

Wenn du deinem ROm noch den "HTC Action Screen" hinzufügen würdest, wäre der echt super! HTC Action Screen ist schon sehr praktisch und erleichtert die BEdienung um einiges.
Bisher hab ich immer gesagt ich brauche den CUbe nicht, aber jetzt wo der weg ist, will ich den wieder haben warte schon auf die versprochen neue Version
Und noch eine Frage der Quick List, wo ist dieser Versteckt und wie wird dieser gestartet?

I've noticed that theres no "nice" application to handle mui-files in different languages and versions. I translated an application using res-hacker. As a new version arrived, I had to search every single node if there's a new translation string. So I decied to code a application for this. Today I finished the first alpha version, which is able to show you a single file. No editing is possible right now.

i could really appreciate an app like this one.. this would make translation more easily for foreign languages as most sources are either en or cn ..
my native lang is de, so this would really be a very helpful app!

Yes, I won't drop the development right now. I'm working on loading 4 files right now. I managed the loading of 4 different files, but the viewer is only loaded once. So you can only see the strings of one file at the same time. But I'll get my hands on it
Hoping to get this big step soon. After this I'm watching forward to get a save file option

#1 . res-hacker didn't support persian and arabic language completely . did you do any thing for this ?
#2 .when I add the edited mui files to my .cab file ( using ce cab manager) it makes certificate error and place some mui file manually in some roms the app didn't shows anything . do you have any solution ?

2-i dont have this problem with res-hacker i translate windows mobile mui file with it and dont have this problem

WOW awsome man! i have been hoping there would come along a utility like this! ive been translating using xn resource editor and restorator and when xn isnt corrupting my files and restorator isnt deleting all the stings i put in, it can take awhile.. but this.. Thank you!
I would ask 2 things if i can, could you add an option to expand all the items and maybe import/export as a file? so everything could be seen in one shot layed out in a txt file so you can easily look it over? plus that would also help importing things from other mui's instead of having to create them one by one or maybe a copy/paste function.. Thanks again.

I just read on Twitter that the unofficial WhatsApp app - has Wazapp for the Nokia N9 and Meego released their source code on GitHub and as open source.
A part of the app was written in C + +, the Messenger was developed in themselves but in Python.

Nevertheless, with the now open source and thus access to the existing possibility to WhatsApp functions to a major step toward WhatsApp for bada succeeded.
Although there is still no bada developer of the matter takes, it will probably be only a matter of time before someone and we can expect the first alphas and betas.

Whats App is what all bada users waiting for... Now we have hope.. all we need is A dedicated developer...

It's C++ code and use of Qt4 libraries and QML, it's a starting poing but it needs a lot of work on BADA.

Da es noch keinen offiziellen Port von WhatsApp für Bada und/oder den PC zu geben scheint habe ich mich mal damit beschäftigt ein Workaround zu basteln. "Wirklich" auf dem Bada System WhatsApp zum laufen bringen kann ich damit zwar auch nicht, jedoch wird der Messenger damit ggf. auf dem OS "nutzbar" (mangels Handy mit Bada System kann ich diese Theorie jedoch nicht vollständig überprüfen). Ihr solltet diese Info / Anleitung erstmal vollständig lesen bevor ihr mit dem "basteln" abfangt, da es für den einen oder anderen sicher nicht die ultimative Lösung darstellt. Ich persönlich nutze ein uraltes iPhone erster Generation. Damit laufen die meisten Apps zwar nicht mehr jedoch immerhin WhatsApp nativ ohne Workaround. Diese Workaround Arie mach ich eigendlich nur für 'ne Freundin die ein Bada Handy hat, jedoch dermaßen viele Kontakte hat die WhatsApp benutzen..

Because there is no official port of WhatsApp for Bada and/or PC I tried to figure out a workaround. A "real" working WhatsApp for Bada you can't run with this but it's "useable" (but i can't try it because of the lack of an bada mobilephone). You should read this guide first before trying something, because it's maybe not the perfect clue for you. I myself have a very old 1st-Gen iPhone. The most new apps don't work but thank god WhatsApp native without a workaround. This workaround is actually for a friend of mine that uses a bada phone, but has a lots of contacts using WhatsApp.
Grundvoraussetzungen
1.) Internet fähiger PC mit zB. Windows XP Pro, 7
2.) Internet Flatrate (für den PC)
3.) RDP Client für Bada zb. ww*.samsungapps.com/topApps/topAppsDetail.as?productId=G00000409808&listYN=Y
4.) BlueStacks für Windows von htt*://bluestacks.com/
5.) Anmeldung bei einem Dynamic DNS Dienstes (zB. ww*.dyndns.org)

1.) Permanent geöffnete Ports 3389, 5223 auf PC (AV Suite Software sollte vorhanden sein)

3.) PC muß statische IP haben im LAN (glücklicherweise nicht die WAN Verbindung)
4.) Push Nachrichten werden nicht unmittelbar signalisiert, ausser auf PC was ein gelegendliches Nachsehen im RDP Client erforderlich macht.

Disadvantages:
1.) Permanent open ports 3389, 5223 to your PC (you should use a firewall or something else for protection)
2.) PC has to run while using the app.
3.) PC has to use a static [?] IP for LAN (but fortunately not for WAN connection)
4.) Push messages are not shown (but on PC), so you need to check your RDP client regularly.
Vorteile dieses Workarounds
1.) WhatsApp läuft auf auf Bada mittels Android Emulation über RDP
2.) Die Meisten anderen Android- und Windows Apps sind ebenfalls über Bada nutzbar
3.) Als Nebenerscheinung laufen die meisten Android Apps dann auch auf PC

2.) The most Android and Windows apps are also running on Bada
3.) As a add-on benefit the most Android apps are running on PC.

This workaround uses Remote Desktop to run Whatsapp from your PC. This way you see Whatsapp on your phone but it run's on PC.

just upgraded Acer to CU without problem
in case no new update, change
PhoneMobileOperatorName to 000-HR or any other retail for your country (000-GB, 000-DE, 000-BA, 000-IT, for example)

Both have SD810, oops nm 808. Good deal! What is the operator normally set to 000-11 or 000-??

was 000-88 here on Jade, but not see CU in update catalog for 88, only for 000-xx (country) in moment

Dear OP . after Hard reset there's no need to Re-Deploy the NDTKSvc . Updates won't revert by hard reset . only if you flash your phone you need to do it again . So you have to keep going from step 14, I mean even no interop unlock needed

Dear OP . after Hard reset there's no need to Re-Deploy the NDTKSvc . Updates won't revert by hard reset . only if you flash your phone you need to do it again . So you have to keep going from step 14, I mean even no interop unlock needed

Is Creators Update fully compatible with Acer Liquid Jade Primo? Are there known issues? On Anniversary Update build 14393.1066 it works very well

In another forum (drwindows.de) an user has reported a problem with the display that remains always on:
"creators update läuft ansich top,ohne probleme, das problem ist der bildschirm geht nicht aus.das display ist immer an und zieht den akku leer.Deswegen musste ich es leider deinstalieren.

Happens once with CU, hard reset solved. But my advice is to stay with AU. No problems noticed

I'm locked on the AU build 14393.1066. Did you receive the new build 14393.1198?

I'm already on AU but I've the old 14393.1066 build installed months ago via Windows Insider. Now I've just re-entered again as insider, checked for updates, but nothing comes down... Should I wait 1 day before to get the new cumulative update (14393.1158)?

stay with AU, is work better

I did all the operations correctly as proposed at the first message of this topic. The phone downloaded the 15063.297 version but now it does not boot. It's the same as updating via slow ring. Any help here?

I noticed that after the update to AU, the phone boots with the screen completely black, you don't see the boot sequence, but it's working, so you have to wait a bit and then press the power button 2 times in order to turn the screen on. This happens only once, after the OS update.
