Nope, I'm afraid it doesn't.
Sent from my GT-I9100

I bought the capdase soft jacket from ebay, it only cost ten euros. I think mobilefun.co.uk have it for a slightly higher price but their site seems to be down so cant link you to it
The case is great, comes with a screen ptrotector and it fits really well and does not bulk up the phone too much. The only bad points is that their is no cut outs for the side buttons so they can be hard to press. Also, it has a aerial cut out on the top left for the korean version but this is no big deal.
Its a great case for the price
Less than a tenner delivered here

so why dont you try amazon? otterbox seemed to come with sp.

Crystal cases for Uni

I am considering getting one after my O2 got a new body, so was wondering if anyone used a crystal case and whether it's a good idea, whether they slip off at all, whether there is any damage to the points of contacts, edges etc. At the moment all of my Unis and variants live in leather book-type cases with clear keyboard covers, I am sure you know the type. The crystal cases are fairly cheap, I used one for my Magician and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, but have my reservations about the clamshell form factor.
Maybe it was just the type that I got but I had problems with the crystal case preventing me from being in tablet mode. It wouldn't let the screen lie flat against the keyboard. I have found that the aluminum case is the best...

I noted crystal cases also come with a belt clip moulding on the flat part that would be against the table in laptop mode, so I guess lying the JasJar flat against the table and typing would be difficult as well. I have my leather book-type cases, just thought crystal case would be a nice addition. On further examination I realised probably not.

In their pictures it looks like it doesn't fit very well - the VideoCam hole isn't lining up well. Is this true, or just a poorly shot picture?

It´s a bad picture, I have been using this ones and believe me it fits perfect! as a medical glove
I have that one as well. The only thing that doesn't line up well is the spine-the power connector and audio connector and such. BUT, it's hardly a problem since the skin is flexible and i can still connect the power and usb cables without any effort. I love the feel of it now and it looks a lot better than it did. I recommend it. I even tried to find this skin for my hermes and wizard. Unfortunately, I have the versions of these that aren't supported. Can't beat the price though for the Uni.

Yeah it is expensive. Anyone fancy buying in bulk and selling on eBay?!
Should hint to DealExtreme, haha, they do free postage to a lot of places. For me in NZ postage costs are always a problem and something we just accept as a part of life As one example - I just paid 3GBP to send a tiny internal speaker for LG Prada (we are talking an item the size of a pinky nail) to NZ, while the only other place selling the same part wanted 11 EURO!!!!
Lots of silicone cases for Unis, all selling for 99c or so, just have to find the best priced postage.

[Q] best protection for i5801

Hi,
I've been searching the internet for a decent screen cover for the i5801. I came across these:
Vikuiti ADQ27
Vikuiti CV8
Invisible Shield -> for 5800, so will it fit nicely?
I'd want the phone as protected as possible, so I don't really mind a higher price if the quality is worth it. But basically it all looks the same to me
What should I get and why? All suggestions are welcome!
Thank you very much
so nobody knows some very good screen cover or so for the i5801 specifically?
I'll prolly just go for the cheapest stuff then... 2€ for 6 of em. Read about it that there is almost no difference between the protection anyways.
I have a mirror screen protection for me gt-i5800 its a good wan.
Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App
I bought from ebay. Search there. There are always goof stuff that anyone can afford.
Ye I eventually bought a black silicone case +1 screen cover from cheapgadget store on ebay. It was 3,5€ with shipping incl. Ill let u know how it is when I get my phone and case
Sometimes cheap screen covers are really hard to apply so buy a bundle pack or a few

Hi,
So I got my phone today and applied the cover and case. I've got no complains at all. Things went very smooth! I can only recommend the vendor: fast and clean delivery, nice package.
About the package: the silicone case fits nicely and feels durable enough. It has the holes for cables on the right spot.
The screen cover was applied easily by following these instructions:

Just look them up on google, and see where they are cheapest (ebaystores probably)
I bought none of those. I bought the cheapest case I could find and 2 screenguards, and I've got nog complaints (read my other posts)
Do we actually need a scratch guard for our phones? Or can we do without one? :\
It may have a scratch resistant screen but it's not unvulnerable.
I use a cheap protector(cut for sg3) and a gray gel case. Baught from ebay for about 3$.
Everyone who saw my phone can't figure out that there is a case!

1mm ultra thin case - video

Has anyone bought or tried this case? in looks very interesting as its so thin it may be comparable to buying something like the Bodyguardz skins without the hassle of sticking that stuff on.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1mm-Ultra...sesPouches&hash=item4165054cf6#ht_2462wt_1168
Got a few days ago, pretty good, very very thin but slippery. Did a quick video to show it in action.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG2HBa-62Rc
i've got one. its about 0.5mm thick in some parts, so the only thing its good for is protecting the phone's body from scratches. it offers no drop protection, and no camera protection, and its not grippy either.
i prefer my ringke slim case and my anymode pebble jelly case, theyre grippy and dont add much bulk, and offer decent protection for the corners of the phone (if you drop your phone, its more likely to land on a corner) and it goes slightly over the edges of the screen, so if your phone does land face first, the glass is less likely to touch the ground, making it less likely to shatter.
Thanks Souai, I had the ringke for my galaxy s2 and i found that after a while it started stretching out and not fit the phone properly. The reason why im so keen on these ultra thin ones is more as an alternative is the skin shields. ill check out the pebble case though.
looks similar to the Case Mate Barely There.

$54 seems a a lot for a case, the 1mm is just $4 including delivery.
lol 5000 INR is not 54$ its more than 100$ to my knowledge and also that for a case is too much IMHO...
Anyway I would have bought one if it was sold from Amazon . Looks nice

I ordered some from ebay (the seller sold them in pairs) - one was cracked from the start and unusable, and the other was slightly warped from being stuffed in the padded envelope. I found them to be not very grippy, and the cut-out for the m/usb was quite sharp, and being as I rest the Note on my little finger when I hold it one-handed, painful!
Hope you have better luck than I did - I just use the Note bare-back now!

Every time i buy a new phone get into a mad rush to buy cases for it, i use them for a week or two then ditch them because I prefer to use the phone bare, i'll probably do the same as you Towserspvm2000, but at below 3 quid a pop im not going to be losing out on much if it is crappy.
Just got this case from China. I like it. Simple and almost like it is bare. Only issue is the buttons are a little harder to push. But not a deal breaker. This is my third case. thinnest and the lightest. Not bad for $4US. Just got to make sure I don't drop it. More for scratch protection than anything.
hey guys, got the case and its pretty good but bloody slippery. Put up a youtube video to show it in action.

I picked up the Spigen case from Amazon. It's built well and fitment is great. It came with the screen protector. Like many others report, it has a lot of issues. Their customer service is a joke regarding the known issue as they request photos and vidoes. Really? All they had to do was read the Amazon reviews to see the first run was faulty.
Either way, the case is solid. Just don't get their screen protectors.
i ended up getting a tpu case for £1.90, its pretty darn good, also a tempered glass screen protector ive put on, im pretty confident its well protected now..

You've probably come across this. Its a little bulkier than I hoped but its growing on me. I love the tempered glass but wish I hadn't been so eager to stick it on--no bubbles, just the tiniest piece of lint inside. Its hardly noticeable, and undetectable unless the screen is lighter background, but those things bother me. Next time I'll use latex gloves to apply it.
I like the glass back to but not crazy about the amazon logo being in full view. What do people think about a nice android logo or cyanogenmod decal?
Also...the headphone cut out doesn't leave room for larger audio jacks. It doesn't affect me but Some peoples car jacks won't connect.
Overall excellent buy for the money.

Thanks for the tip. For $9, it's like buying the tempered glass and getting the case for free. Definitely worth a try with no real downside if it turns out to be too bulky.

It was a great deal. To be honest, only reason its bulkier than I thought was because one of the reviews said it was "less bulky than expected..." But the pic in the ad doesn't really mislead. It'll probably be the same size as you imagine--about a half inch thick.
And take my advice applying the glass. Its super easy but read it through first and keep it as clean as possible.

Thanks for posting this. Is the back of this case glossy like the sides/edges, or is frosted/dull? It looks frosted from the photos, but I'm not a 100% sure. I'm looking for a similar case that's glossy all over.

AT&T store case sale
Local AT&T stores seem to be having a fire sale on Fire Phone cases. I picked up a nice Speck case, retail $35 for $5. They had several other cases there too. This has also been mentioned on Slickdeals re the eBay Fire Phone/Amazon Prime deal (the price of the eBay deal seems to change from $139 to $189 depending on the sellers mood).

They had the Blue and the Pink. They also had a leather case that said 50% off of $35, but when they rung it up it was $5. Leather was nice and small but offered little protection...no raised lip around the display.
There might have been some others...don't remember them all. They were on a clearance rack.

I found the Incipio extended battery case at my local ATT store marked down from 90 to 10. You pretty much just have to go ask and someone will go dig around in the back and find what they have. I also picked up a regular incipio case with the aluminum back, but is kind of warped already and doesn't stay on that well. For 5 bucks, it's not even worth taking back to exchange!
I just bought the Amazon Polyurethane Case for Fire Phone, Blue when I purchased the phone they had them for $10. It works great, doesn't get in the way of the buttons/ports while still protecting the corners, and has a nice texture that isn't too slick but cleans up well. It barely adds anything to the phones dimensions as well.
I bought the Incipio Dual Shine case from an AT&T store for $10 and it has been pretty good. A little heavy, but the brushed metal back looks slick. I've dropped it a few times and it has held up.

UK Case thread

Thought I would start a new 'case thread' for the Z Fold 2, as the current one in this forum is very US orientated and the cases discussed there - are simply not available in the UK right now.
I will kick this off though with a high level of frustration, that this is the hardest phone to get a bloody case for! Especially given that it's one of the most fragile. Sure you can pay £80 for a flimsy bit of leather that only protects the back of the phone from Samsung. That's just a crazy price and poor value for money. But as far as I know that's the only case available to buy today (28th September).
I ordered the following Araree Bonnet leather Case from MobileFun 3 weeks ago and it's still out of stock for at least another 3 weeks:
https://www.mobilefun.co.uk/araree-bonnet-samsung-galaxy-z-fold-2-5g-wallet-stand-case-black-82183
There are no other cases available from them, they are all out of stock. Same with Amazon, where you are going to be waiting for several weeks before items are in stock. I really don't understand why, I have never had this issue with a new phone before, there were cases available for the Note 20 Ultra 2 weeks prior to the release date.
Yeah the case situation is pathetic. Just using the official leather at the moment as its better than nothing.

I think Samsung are charging way too much for the leather one, I bet they deliberately priced it so high because the people likely to buy this phone have a bit more cash to splash. Or that they know the cases are in short supply.
I bought the official leather case for my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It's twice the size of the Fold 2 case but cost considerably less, £30 (with a discount) and even that was too much in my opinion. I really need one that protects the cover screen, hence the reason I went for the Araree case.

Don't all flame me for this post... but I bought the cheap (China) faux leather hard case on ebay for £5 gbp and its actually perfectly fine. Its also available as UK stock for about £9 with quicker delivery

The front cover protects the edges of front screen and sides (but does make swiping down from top of screen gesture a bit hit and miss for my big fingers)

Good to know about this.
The one you bought is not the same one I was looking at but similar:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392948709396
It's cheap but it's better than nothing, I just ordered it now, because I really need something to protect this phone until something more premium comes along.
So thanks for sharing the link, I will update here when I receive the one I just bought!

~
So I ordered a cheap case off eBay whilst I wait several weeks for a much better one. Supposed to arrive this week. Of course on eBay, "UK STOCK" posted by Royal Mail that takes over a week to arrive means only one thing of course... they are being sent from China. Which I mostly expected when I ordered but took a chance that maybe someone was being honest. No wonder people claim item hasn't arrived and get their money back and still get to keep the item.
I am getting desperate for ANY kind of case for this phone, but the only one available from Samsung is the leather one (£80) or pay £150 upwards from a shark on eBay who clearly only snapped up a whole load of decent cases to add 200% mark up profit, adding over £100 to a £50 case. Crooks.
So no cases available in the UK at a non inflated price. I checked all the usual online outlets and all citing 'expected' stock in 3-4 weeks. What a frustrating crazy situation, for such a premium and arguably delicate phone, why on earth is there such a shortage here?
~
Update: One of the cases arrived today, just a hard clear back cover:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Sams...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
It fits perfectly and will protect the back glass at least. It seems good quality for the £3 I paid, but like all these kind of cases , it adds weight to the phone on one side. Still it's better than nothing!

I am starting to think Samsung, Spigen and others are taking Z fold2 owners for mugs with over inflated pricing on cases...

Yeah, you're absolutely right, the premium cases for this (very expensive) phone, are almost impossible to source, and when you eventually find one they are over-inflated prices. Trouble is sellers know that desperate consumers (who possibly have more cash than your average consumer) will eventually part with their money to protect such a valuable phone. But I am not falling for that. I have had an order for the Araree Bonnet leather case with MobileFun for over a month now and it's still showing at least a further month for stock to arrive. It's a quality leather cover case and is only costing me £35. In the meantime I am just keeping it in a neoprene pouch. The snakes on eBay buying these up and selling them for £180 - I hope someone screws them over at some point.
Anyway thanks for the link to the one you bought. The bezel on the front cover looks very thick though. Is that a bit awkward to use? I ordered a similar cheap Chinese one off eBay just to tide me over.

The only problems are swiping from the edge gestures (eg open side-bar swipe from right or notifications bar swipe down from top) which are difficult and a bit of trial and error at times. I am old school and use the 3 button navigation so not sure if gesture navigation is affected or not.
All things considered tho I prefer to use this (inexpensive) Chinese made case to protect my expensive new phone until such time as mid priced (£20 max) cases from popular brand names are widely available and are actually in stock.
P.S. for the first few days I before my case arrived i used a "sock" or "sleeve" repurposed with the fabric mesh bag that came free with my Anker 10,000mAh portable battery. Better than nothing.

Don't all flame me for this post... but I bought the cheap (China) faux leather hard case on ebay for £5 gbp and its actually perfectly fine. Its also available as UK stock for about £9 with quicker delivery

The rear cover fully protects the camera bump and sides.
The front cover protects the edges of front screen and sides (but does make swiping down from top of screen gesture a bit hit and miss for my big fingers)

I bought the same one but had to stop using after a few hours, found swiping up and down was more miss than hit.
I've got the VRS Hard Drop active on order, for the time being i'm just carrying it in a 'ShockSock' which to be fair does the job well
where did u order it from

its very expensive to ship from the brs website
I've already chipped my hinge due to lack of protection the back leather on its own isn't enough

Direct from the VRS website, I got a 15% off code (SMILEAGAIN30) when I went on the site, I think it was $53 dollars all in for the case and postage. The discount basically gave me near free postage.
I went for the black version, shipping at the end of the month apparently...so ShockSock it is till that arrives
I just received one of the Chinese two piece black plastic ones that were shown in this thread. The frame for the front part is very stiff and while this means it will stay put, the amount of force needed to put it on has scared me from doing so. I don't want to scratch my phone putting a case onto it! Or am I worrying unnecessarily? I much prefer the softer gel ones.

I think you may be worrying unnecessarily about the front cover I have had the Chinese case on my fold2 for 3 weeks now and no marks visible (I only removed it to check after reading your post ). Also I left the factory fitted front screen protector on the glass so I guess i have the additional scratch protection provided by the film cover.
I'm not in the UK, but the Netherlands.
I'm currently using the Shocksock I had for the original Fold, now on the Fold 2. It doesn't fit as well as on the original, but it's OK.
I bought a Fitbag from Germany, but those things are precision-made, and even with Samsung's very thin leather back cover on the phone, the whole thing becomes too fat for the sleeve.
The VRS case looks nice. Has anyone received theirs yet?
Another nice-looking one is the Spigen thin case.
There's rarely a source for any of these cases in the Netherlands, so ordering from the US is expensive and is often fraught with extra charges at the door.
