Please leave some thanks or even donate .

Yeah.. ran into some hell with choosing between WebClient and WebRequest.. TO EVERYONE WHO IS CODING ON WP7 AND NEEDS TO GRAB THINGS FROM THE WEB.. DO NOT USE WEBCLIENT.. IT IS A P.O.S

Works fine for me ! Great ! Another app which makes life easier.
Can you save the created ringtones to Iso Storage ?
So ringtones you have allready downloaded can be installed again only by choosing them...
Edit: You shouldn´t listen to much music from the old slayer album => makes your head banging and you can´t get concentration for creating apps...

I just put this up here so I wouldn't end up changing something then breaking it lol. But yeah I can change some lines of code to make it check ISostorage and if it exists, don't worry about downloading.

I know that album...
You should add a storage button where the user can choose or delete the allready downloaded files..
Where do you get the files from ?
Edit: also a preview button would be nice...

That will be in the next release, I will make the app a Pivot app and have a section for management of the downloaded ringtones (Ironically which is what I was going to do first). I parse them from a music website.

Also.. if you go to the ringtone in the Settings app and hold your finger on the ringtone, you can delete it from the list (although it will still exist on isostorage)

hi thanks! how about sharing code with us? do not like to useresharper all the time to check code

Nice! Thanks a lot. Can't wait until something like this makes it to the marketplace.

Looking good!

Great app!
Sent from my Samsung Focus "Mango" using XDA App

great app!

How to get all the tracks? As in how do you find them and list them in your app?

It's amazing app. THX work fine. (+)

Thanks!

Really good app, but just need 1 or 2 things:
- Possibility to listen the song before add it into the phone (sort of preview)
- Increase the quality (don't know if it is really your fault, but i have tried some songs and the quality is very poor)
And it will be great. Thank you.

The functionality to preview the song is coming in next release (Planning on getting that released later on today). The quality isn't controlled by me. The next major release will have some goodies.. I have a few interesting ideas.

UDATED 07/03/2009: Media Center for Windows Mobile

Hi all!
We created a cool new app and hope you will enjoy it too.
The app's name is "Mobile Media Center".
You can use it to listen to music, watch pictures, play videos and keep up with RSS feeds/podcasts/vodcasts, all on your Windows Mobile device.
It can be controlled by the touch of your finger. Actually is was created because we missed a good looking media player that can be used while driving a car.
To get an impression of Mobile Media Center, please take a look at the screenshots below.
More information can be found here: http://mobilemediacenter.oabsoftware.nl
The Start page:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The Music page:
The Pictures page:
The video player page:
Oh, did I mention it's available for free?!
Update 07/03/2009:
Today we released version 1.0.2.
It appeared we made an error in the setup package: a file, that is required for bluetooth control of the player (AVRCP support), was not included in the setup...
This error was repaired in version 1.0.2.
Update 07/01/2009:
Today we released version 1.0.1, which includes most of the remarks made so far:
On the RSS page a button "Read all" was added. When this button is pressed, all items in the RSS feed will be marked as "read".
When changing the settings, the keyboard (input panel) will now appear whenever you have to enter text.
The Videos page will now show 3GP and 3G2 files as well.
congrats on your release!
Thanks for this will test when i have the new ROM.
I have only one Question, what file format the Video player play ?
Waseb
Mobile Media Center can play all formats that Windows Media Player can play (it actually uses Windows Media Player for the playback)
it looks and works fantastic! i had to right click on the download. left click did not work. thanks for the app!!!
Does not show .3g2 videos taken by the camera on my Omnia i910. WMP does play these videos.
Some other issues I see.
Small graphics glitch where the timer is. Landscape album cover needs to be moved.
Feature request:
Allow people to create new skins in an easy manner.
great soft
You're not far from perfection
Keep going !
Impressive! Thanks!
great software..
but I think that you should use bigger buttons....IMHO they are too small and too near each other to call this application really finger frindly....
Perhaps you could introduce an option to set a bigger button look ...
On My Omnia (WQVGA) They are too small ... at least They shoul be twice to be used while driving a car
Its definitely a great app, its just the buttons are a little small as stated above and also its a bit choppy.. but regardless, Good Work! keep it up xD
Feed Back
Just installed on my Omnia.
I like it but:
The 2 buttons are a little small.
When trying to add RSS feed, the soft keyboard doesn't pop. Impossible to add anything.
It needs a option to load a OPML file.
Also needs a way to mark a feed as read. I have the same problem with Kinoma. There is no way to mark a whole feed as read so next time you come back, you have no way of knowing if there are new posts. As far as I know that makes it useless as a RSS reader.
My music library is stored in an 'Artist' folder then subfolders for 'Album'. There is a folder.jpg in the album folder but not in the 'Artist' folder. So the main 'My Music' page doesn't show any images until I open the 'Artist' folder and then I can see each albums and their covers. Other players just ignore the 'Artist' folder and show the 'Albums'.
It's a great start for a first release though.
Don't take too long before you release a fix for those problems though. We have short attention spans here.

How do you go about installing the app? I went to the site. http://mobilemediacenter.oabsoftware.nl/
when I click the download link, I get a frame loading with a bunch of code. Am I supposed to save the frame as something.cab?
Wow! Nice work!
The idea is great and the realization is good too!
Of course it need some new implementation and improvements...
I think it's important have more compatibilities with video's standard and more fluidity when scrolling pages (for example album page!), bigger buttons it's a good idea too!
Also I'm sure everybody here are happy for this relase, my compliments
Please so, relase new versions often!
Thanks!

gr8 realese.!
You want to say that terrible and long process of resizing/porting is in the past?
And it can resize only new packages like from Leo and Rhodium, which have grafics coordinates stored in .xml, am I right?
Will wait for release

I believe this is a developer tool, ie netcf library for use with visual studio or similar program. This should enable developers to make applications universal to all resolutions that will flow nicely with manila interface. Very interested to see, as I am trying to learn a bit of programming myself. For resizing new packages that use xml I suggest programatix' xmlgui tool
cant wait to see some applications developed or updated with this. if it is easy enough to use, I would love to make some to replace some of the custom mortscripts that I am using in my ROMs now
wow really nice! i'll try it!
thanks!
I know people hate these kinds of questions, but any news on how SOON the coming soon is?

Awesome Man,
I'm trying it rught now.
Only missing a textbox. If we have and a textbox it will be great!
Good work one more time!!
Sweet. Thanks very much. I didn't expect it this soon.
Beautiful! I think this is the one thing WinMo is missing - a decent standardisation of UI controls
This is awesome! As soon as I get some cash, I will donate for this. I tested it out, and it works like a charm. Keep it up. For the love of God, KEEP IT UP!
Move over Iphone! Here comes WinMo!
OK, I am trying to work something with this...
How do I check if an item in the listbox is selected? Thanks.
BTW: This control also works with Windows Apps as well.

Really weel done! But there is some work left to do...
I tried the Checkbox button. The text entered int the text property isn't displayed eihter in design mode or runtime mode,
Furhtermore, the control looks ok as long as the backgrounde is white, but not as goowd when (as in my case) having a background whit another color or a picture.

Welcome to .NET You'll need to override your OnPaint method to get semi-decent background images without either flicker or that white you're seeing. Another thing which MS will take years to implement no doubt.

Way better now. I almost didn't recognize you on the previous one.
What I'd really like as a ringtone on my phone was the main theme from Turrican 1 or 2. Kinda hard to get it in a decent quality though.
Works! Thanks guys
I can't believe it. I finally found the Turrican II main theme in a good quality. I edited it a bit so I can use it as ringtone now. So awesome. Even though I think most of you guys don't even know it or simply might not like it, I'll share it anyways.

double rainbow, anyone?
Here are some of the ringtones I have ready for my phone as soon as Mango hits. Some I made myself from various music clips, others I found on free ringtone web sites and cleaned up a bit. I broke them into two files, one for "all around" ring tones, and one for Christmas for those who might like them.

Use Windows Phone Device Manager's File Explorer & copy them to \My Documents\My Ringtones\ & they'll show up in the ringtone list. This is how I added them on my NoDo HD7.

Fringe Intro.zip - The intro music to the television show Fringe.
regina_spektor-edit.zip - This is a segment from a Regina Spektor song called Edit. I extended the first part of it because the segment I wanted to use was too short.
here are a few that I made.
includes clips from
Dreamer - Supertramp
Hanna Theme - The Chemical Brothers
Wall-E - Thomas Newman
Knuddelmaus - Ulrich Schnauss
my favorite is Dreamer

[Updated] WP7 Ringtoner - Easily make ringtones for WP7!

I just got my hands on my first WP7 device (an issue-free DVP) and I absolutely love it. Gearing up for Mango, I wanted to have a couple of ringtones ready when it arrives, as there are a few limitations to make custom ringtones work.
So I've cooked up a nice little utility in .NET that uses ffmpeg to trim and/or convert your audio files to nice WP7-compatible ringtones. I expect a few bugs, so if you come across any, please let me know, and I'll fix them ASAP.
(Updated 29th October, 2011) WP7 Ringtoner - Version 1.0.4
What's new in version 1.0.4?
Added volume gain feature, as requested by user ahlMAR
Bugfix for incorrect output folder.
Now available for free download on Softpedia too! Grab it here → http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Editors-Recorders/WP7-Ringtoner.shtml
Features
Portable - Just one executable.
Validates track length before converting - MS mandates a maximum length of 39 seconds.
Calculates bitrate automatically, making sure the filesize is under 1 MB.
Lets you directly download ffmpeg binaries if you don't have them.
Custom volume gain.
Requirements
ffmpeg - Download link provided by WP7 Ringtoner when needed.
(If you'd rather download it yourself, here are links)
32-bit: http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/win32/static/ffmpeg-latest-win32-static.7z
64-bit: http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/win64/static/ffmpeg-latest-win64-static.7z
.NET Framework 3.5.

Hi!
Absolute Top Job, Bro
I recently bought a WP7 Device for my wife n she hates it cuz she can't set her songs as ringtones. That is just crap with WP7. So i need an App that makes it all easier.
May i suggest some more features for the future if you are still up for developing this?
Features like:
- Fade in /Fade out for the cut-out part
- automatic deployment for nodo devices like that RingRing7 from Arktronic
-Automatic send-to Zune Library with auto-tagging as Ringtone for the Mango devices...
Thanks for your work mate.
Can't make ringtone
tryied your app, but when i want select starting point it automatically selects 00;00;00 worthless program
hey nice man....working fine.
thanks for sharing

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! Is Fade-in required? Because WP7 automatically fades-in the ringtone when you get a call, right? Automatic deployment - I'll look into it. And send-to library - I am still looking into it and haven't found out how, yet.

Could someone provide a link to download the required ffmpeg? Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! Is Fade-in required? Because WP7 automatically fades-in the ringtone when you get a call, right? Automatic deployment - I'll look into it. And send-to library - I am still looking into it and haven't found out how, yet.

The fade in and out is just for the sounds not to begin and end too abrupt. Not sure if that'd be really necessary.
Currently I'm also more interested in a program to pull tracks from the phones library and edit it on the device.
There's a guy here trying to figure out a way to do that.
But I'll keep testing your program.

First off, thanks for the download.
The link to the 64 bit version is incorrect in the first post, but correct in the quoted post above ("ffmpeg-latest-win32-static.7z " should be "ffmpeg-latest-win64-static.7z").
Thought you'd want to know
This tool would benefit having a more accurate "cutting" function. It would be nice to have an overview of the wave structure to be able to cut the "beat/rhytem" at the right point so that it can sound right when it loops on the phone.
will try it,as soon as i get to my computer
Does not Save Ringtone
On my 64 Bit machine, I dont see any ringtone getting saved even thought it says it is doing it.
What should I look for ?

cool app, perfect
Two bugs:
1.) Under 'Settings' next to the first check box it says "Sing with certificate" should be "Sign with certificate"
2.) It always tells me Zune isn't running eventhough it is, this is on Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Also does Zest = All? Might want to clairfy that.
Screenshot
Here is a screen shot of the Zune not open error I posted about. As you can see I have Zune running but the error is there.
EDIT: When I plug in my phone the message on the bottom switches to "Connected" and it seems to work fine. So I think it's just a display bug. Also XBOX Live apps don't seems to work, they just fail to start up. Is there something else that must be done aside from re-signing?
You can use WPConnect to connect phone instead of Zune
BTW, could you tell me how to resign xap and make "resume" path in C#?
I'm making xap deploy app too and don't know how to do these useful trick.
So I'll be very appreciate if you could help me ^_^.
Here is my app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1301327
I now added WPConnect back to miniWPDSK and working on comunicate wAppStore and wXapDeployer without Zune (by WPConnect.exe), thx. For resign xap I'l contact you.
Hello Winco,
nice Project. Thank you for your contribution. Will try it during the next few days and report back. It does look better than some other progs around here but certainly the functions need to be tested if any better too...
I'd probably switch to your program if it does its Job well because i like its looks and organization. Then i'd certainly donate sum money towards your project too.
I am very interested in highly integrated solutions. Like what you are working on now. One Program to scan the market, display the Apps, download them, store them for later use, sign them, deploy them. Connect to phone without Zune would be a perfect feature too.
If you have a look at Julien Schapmanns Device Manager - that is pretty neat from its Idea but still doesn't work too well and Mr. Schapmann seems to be busy with other things at the moment
But if you have any plans to go into that direction (multifunctional) i'd say you defo have a thing going here. *thumbs up* bro.
[EDIT]
Found this on wAppStore:
- Download of Apps stalls at 50% sometimes (when interferring with the download somehow. Process doesn't seem to be stable).
- Download of bigger Apps is very slow.
- wAppStore Crash: click download on an app in MarketPlace, change to LocalPlace --> File Access error --> crash (the downloading file cannot be accessed)
- Settings not remembered (e.g. the LocalPlace Save-Path falls back to default when Software is restarted) after crash (settings are only saved when quitting the Software normally?
- Cannot cancel Download of app. Tried the "Bin" button but it makes the AppStore crash. It doesn't stop the Download.
- Icons draw a little blurry. Icons bad or rendering bad?
Suggestions:
- Screenshot- enlargement when clicking on one
- Screenshot rotation when enlarged
- Design adjustments: bring it closer to Zune-Layout, differentiate it from Zune by Color, not design. Makes the Idea of a free place opposed to the payed place clearer. Use the Zune-Icons.
- For the local Place: scan subfolders. i have sorted my Apps in Games and General in two folders - can those be scanned for xap's?
- Check the state of an XAP: can it be installed? does it need signing? does it need patching?
More to come i am sure
Thanks to Sneakyghost for nice report about Apps,
I'm hardly working on fix problem and improving functionality ;-)
Noticed one more Thing:
- Installed WhatsApp using wAppStore, updated it from version 1.1. using wAppStore, its Info remained on 1.1. So i thought its a bug in WhatsApp. Updated again when version 1.3 was released, Info still remained on 1.1. I began to wonder. I uninstalled the App with wAppStore and installed again: same version 1.1 info.
So i uninstalled the app directly on the device and reinstalled using wAppStore. This time the App shows the real info. Conclusion: wAppStore does not manage Updates well.
very nice app.is it necessary to install SDK when I want to run the Prog?
Winco has a mini SDK on page 1. That should suffice. Try it and report back.
Note: someone has had problems because he had both the real SDK and the mini installed. Make sure you use only one of them.

Many thanks to Sneakyghost for his help... sorry for my "delay" with answers, I have a lot of work and a little time for this "hobby project", for quickly response contact me please at [email protected] ... and I released new 1.5.0. wXapAssistant and I have 1.1.0 of wAppStore for "braves" ;-)
Thanks W.I.N.C.O. !!!
Thanks for the app, but in some days I believe that nothing will work. Take a look at this:
http://www.wpcentral.com/server-side-marketplace-encryption-coming-soon-windows-phone
Oh yuck! That is sooooo disgusting
Well, then there has to be more enthusiasm with free app development...
There's nothing wrong with protecting intellectual property yet it takes the fun out of an application like this.
