[Q] microsd card class 10 - Galaxy S II Accessories

hi,everyone.
I need your help on choosing the microsd card
(i) DNA microsdhc 16gb class10
(ii) KINGMAX microsdhc 16gb class10
(iii) TRANSCEND microsdhc 16gb class10
which microsdhc card are more stable, faster, worth and most importantly reliable.

Personally, i think the transcend is the more reliable out of the 3.

Although you have not mentioned them, Sandisk are the more reliable.
They may not show the higher speeds of a Class 10 (Sandisk are at Class 4) but you shouldn't always assume just because it is Class 10 it is going to be faster than a lower Class from a different manufacturer.
Sandisk speeds are always true.
I use 32GB Class 4 MicroSD cards in all my phones and tablets.
Never, not once have I had an issue.

KINGMAX microsdhc 16gb class10 did give me a memloss/amnesia once...

Cheapest SD Card Upgrade

Anyone seen an even sort of reasonabley priced 32gb microsd card? I need more than the 8gb stock card, but 80 more bucks for memory sucks.
i buy 16gigs for $60.
google "buy 16 gig sdhc class 6 micro"
The card class is just as much important as the size. I have an 8GB Class 6. It was more than a 16GB Class 2, but I wanted the extra speed.
If you don't care about the speed rating, you can get a class 2 16GB card for $30 on Amazon.
That's not a micro sdhc card.

Anyone try the new Adata UHS (Ultra High Speed) Mirco Sd?

I was looking at Newegg and came across an Adata UHS 32gb Micro Sd card. It is currently $59.99 and the Adata 32gb Class 10 Micro Sd was $49.99 (yesterday 12/12). I see that the Class 10 is now $61.99. Anyone try these new UHS cards out? Any speed tests? It is advertised as 30% faster than Class 6, but does not list any Class.

It's a 16GB Class 6. However, how does it get 30mb read/write?

Sandisk website says 30mb/sec is only for read
Write is slower

how speed on write ?
Has anyone seen any speed tests on the Sandisk Ultra (Class 6). I'd be interested to see how it compares to their ordinary Class 4 card, and if the extra cost is justified.

How then? Is it worth buying?
If you do a search, the stated 30mb/s, is only obtained if you use a compatible sd reader, so far there is only about 10-15 readers on the market that will full ultilize the UHS 1 specifications, and the fastest one being from kingston and sandisk themselves.
Some cameras also supports UHS 1 to take advantage of the speed.
the figures are off my head, it was done a few months ago, and I have tested over 15-20 different sd cards, i will correct them later on if they are different.
using the kingston reader.
Sandisk
UHS 1
read 38mb/s
write 7mb/s
non UHS 1

write 7mb/s
other UHS 1 microsdhc available:
toshiba

read 41mb/s
write 20mb/s
non UHS 1
read 21mb/s
write 15.2mb/s

I am using SanDisk Mobile Ultra 16GB, beforeit I used TDK class10 16GB
The write speed in Windows I feel that it's lower than TDK 16GB
but the quality of card I think that is better than TDK absolutely!
sandisk cards are much more stable, and the speed is stable too, while other brands the speed flutuates alot.
The Samsung micro SDHC cheaper then Sandisk and very good.
i hv sandisk class6 32g+ class4 32g
i up grade from class4-6 i thouhgt its not much different
but the price is a lot different anyway i bought it already
so its must be better

Which would be the better microsd card?

Hello,
Planning on getting a 32gb card for my s3 because I always find myself in the situation where I'm freeing up space! I have my eyes on these 3 cards on Amazon, any ideas which would be best?
SanDisk Ultra 32 GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-1
Sony 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC R40
Samsung Micro SD 32GB Class 10 Plus UHS-I SDHC
I read that the Sony card performs much better than the SanDisk. The SanDisk gives around 10mb/sec of write speed, the Sony give 15 or so.
Sorry I can't put links to the Amazon items because I'm a new user and I need 10 posts at least.
Thanks guys,
Go with Sony or Samsung (make sure they are not fake). Sandisk is okay, but a lot of people have complaints of sandisk micro SD cards (mainly the 32gb) start acting up after 6 months of use, sometimes to the point it stops working.

I would go for a class4 or class6. Ive heard horror stories about them "ultra class10" and "plus class 10" sd cards and galaxy's. I have both sandisk class4 32gb and samsung class6 32gb and they perform well for what i need them to. Just my 0.02. Good luck.

i have a 32gb Sandisk ultra and is still running like a champ. Im even running the ExtSd2InternalSd mod which makes my phones runs is internal memory off my 32gb memory card. its $23 on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Micro...375130716&sr=8-1&keywords=sandisk+ultra+32+gb
I have a 32 gig card I bought from micro center and it works great for $20.
Get the samsung! I have personally used both samsung and sandisk, and maybe i was unfortunate that the sandisk was corrupted but the samsung is still working fine considering i got both around the same time.

Hmm on the other hand there are a lot of users that are happy with C10 cards. Maybe they fail after an extended period of time?
Thanks for the feedback guys,
To be honest, I am currently using a 16GB transcend class 4 on my S3 and i'm quite happy with it.
From what i gathered when purchasing my memory card, class 10 mem cards are better with DSLRs where write speed is very important.
