Battery 'halflife' - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Thought I'd post a screen of what my battery use looks like at exactly 50 percent. I've been streaming spotify on 4g and playing with the phone pretty constantly. Brightness is all the way down. I'm pretty pleased with the device's battery life so far!

Battery wifi and call mods

Is there any themes, mods with the same color green and the same slim bars for signal and wifi and round battery with the % in the middle? I tried the green glow but the 3g and wifi was bulkier looking than the stock size. I loved the battery mod in that theme just not the other stuff.

Ask BigTex06 to make it for you. He is a great guy. Right now it is blue and turns green at 79%. Then yellow at some point.

Battery Percentage/Charging Notification

I am not sure whether the Nexus 7 has any of these features hidden away amongst its settings, but is there an app or way to get a percentage for the battery shown in the status bar at the top and also have a message display when the battery reaches around 20% for charging?

Check out this widget. It offers some very detailed info especially on JB devices.

ChargeBar is pretty cool and seems to fit well with the overall look although doesn't show exact percentages.

How to lower brightness even further?

I put my dim level and brightness down to as far as they can go down and the homescreen is dimmed fine but I notice in the dark, opening a browser or a program that my brightness is pertty high and enough to keep me awake. How would I do this in AOKP roms and is there a good program to help me tweak it down further?
Any apps to control brightness by app?
I think there's a feature in the ktweaker app on KToonz's kernel that will let you drop brightness further. That's the only place I've seen it.

+1 for screen filter. I have been using it for a long time and it's been great.
Lux also allows you to go lower on brightness. It also does auto brightness way better than the stock touch wiz.

I really wish there was an app that put sepia/lowered brightness all in one app and hopefully a dropdown notification bar. I mean along iwth cell standby display tends to be the main culprit of battery drain.
Would be nice to have an app like that. DEV it
You can also use rootdim

Thanks for that, I knew about Screen Filter but I was looking for something that would actually dim the backlight instead of just overlaying on the display.

Best app to display battery percentage

Hey all I just got my Nexus 7 and haven't got to rooting yet but I noticed that I can't display the battery percentage and was wondering what you guys use to see your percentage. Any info is appreciated.

Personally, I use Widgetsoid, as I like to have various toggles in my dock. Plenty of alternatives, both free and paid, that will do this.
I've had Widgetsoid for 3 years or more on various devices so didn't feel any need to change.....

Is there an app to display the battery percentage right on the top bar? That would be better than a widget.
