Can some one start to theme the new swype. if I knew where to start I will give it a try. Another thing I tired looking for the new swype I installed in the system/app folder but its not there? Wtf is that all about.

Thanks, its a start. I had a cooked black version before and it stop working over the weekend, it was asking for a upgrade.

Remove what from swype? Your welcome, I could try and make you one that you want, I haven't had any request for one so I stopped working on it

I have a older version of swype (the one with pop up box),
That never asked for a update and works fine, but new version I had was asking for a update, so my question is:
do you think the update component of the swype app can be removed with out damaging the app it self?

Heya!
Just got the Inc 2 and I tried the gingerbread keyboard that I got here:

and it didn't work. When I tried to type, it force quit on me. Also the letters were SUPER BIG! lol.
Just wondering if the gingerbread keyboard exists for this phone. It's the only keyboard I've been able to type well with on android.

I have paid for Roam Control for a past phone. I'm trying to install it now and when I hit install and it just spins and won't install.
Edit- I just restarted my phone and it installed....
Not seeing nova 2 either which as stated seems very odd.

Yeah quite a few apps are listed as incompatible. But if you get the apk and install manually they work fine.
EDIT: This is where downloading apk's from somewhere else and loading into the phone manually comes in handy if you trust the source.

So I was trying to write a txt when my swype gave me this msg saying it won't work and I need the updated one
I don't knw what website it asked me to go to but I've searched and can't really find something that works (probably cuz I'm using my phone) I think swype.beta.com is where I'm supposed to go but it won't work for me
So not I can't really swype on my swpye keyboard which makes it like a normal keyboard which sucks
Does anyone have the latest version apk file or can I flash one?

There are 2 threads in General on Swype. But 2 answer your question you have to delete swype with a root type file explorer and go to Swype's website and download the newest one.

Now thatss where I'm having problemsss it won't let me download it on my phne. Its the thing where u have to put ur e mail and a password and it sends it to ur email right? It won't let me submit my email when I press the submit button

cant do it from your phone there are boxes that need to be ticked you cant see on the phone. register from computer then download from phone.

Has anyone received Swype since signing up for the beta? I signed up a couple days ago. Am I supposed to receive an email or something with instructions where and how to DL? For those who are already rocking it,... any major changes in the beta? Thanks!

You're supposed to receive a download link once you sign up. If you navigate to the official Swype website, there's a headline that reads "Get Swype" with directions. There should either be a prompt email or it should download automatically to your phone. You must install that apk then follow the prompts on your phone.
I installed a Clean rom but forgot to select swype install..
I can upload mine but I'd sign up for Swype beta. It's a newer version and its better than the one that comes with our phone.
Edit: Here you go, though I'm not sure it'll work without the installer.
*MOD EDIT* Swype is now a paid app in the market, this is considered warez
